The Ahwatukee Global Bikes is my go-to local bike shop (LBS). I’ve purchased my last two bicycles at Global, and I have my bikes serviced there, too. The staff members are friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. When I recently decided I was in the market for a new road bike, Doug helped me to identify the kind of riding I’d be doing, and he got me into the right size and style bike. I even managed to score my new Tarmac during the model-year-end clearnace sale, and Doug even recommended a slightly less-expensive model based on my needs. The new bike came with a $50 fit credit which covered a basic fitting. The fit was a cool experience. Doug took the time to understand my riding style. I got set up on the fluid trainer, and he carefully measured for seat and handlebar settings. I feel more comfortable and more efficient in the saddle after his adjustments. The service guys I’ve worked with are also exceptional. When I needed to have my rear hub repacked, Adrian patiently showed me how the bearings worked. When I picked up my new Tarmac, Evin helped me with last-minute adjustments, and when I had to improvise my own adjustments to the front derailleur, he was quick to double check (and, thankfully, correct) my work. When I needed a cheap replacement rear wheel for the backup bike, Kevin helped me find a rebuilt part that didn’t break the bank. Aside from the warranty and the fit credit, my new bike also comes with service for life, and that’s quite a deal! I think it’s important to support my LBS, and I’m glad that Global Bikes is there.

WOW - this is a truly fantastic bike shop! The staff is extremely knowledgeable, patient and genuinely want you to have the best buying experience possible. I’m a first time buyer who purchased a mountain bike recently from Doug Britton at the Ahwatukee Global Bikes location. Doug listened closely to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. He further elaborated on each point by using simple examples that helped me to understand the product I was purchasing. The staff was very professional and demonstrated a deep knowledge of bikes. Doug made some OUTSTANDING suggestions that maximized my riding experience! The staff is high energy, no pressure and incredibly accommodating. The mechanics are highly skilled and totally focused on doing the job right. The staff provided excellent customer service and never tried to upsell me on a more expensive option. For all of these reasons, I will always return to this location for all of my MTB needs.

I could not be happier with the service, sales, advice and laughs that I have had over the years with the crew at this location. The entire team goes above and beyond to answer questions, track down parts, provide guidance, deliver awesome riding events and learning sessions. We stumbled into this store looking for an beginning road bike for me to dabble in a sprint triathlon a couple of years back. Now 6 bikes later - the husband is doing triathlon, my Dad is riding a mountain bike and I moved up to a full on Shiv TT bike for an Ironmam. The guys at Global Ahwatukee have helped me custom build a bike, find the best strap on bento box for my road bike, and taught me how to ride in a group. The only slight disappointment was learning I couldnt take a fish in my hydration bladder in my new bike. (I really gave no idea why Specialized felt the need to include that in the instructions) Thank you for all your AWESOMENESS. Michelle

I love Global Bikes of Ahwatukee! They dont sell you a bike, they learn who you are & match you to the right bike. No pressure! I was new to Arizona when I first met Doug, I was only in the pre-contemplation stage of buying a new bike & he listened, told me about how Global operates, gave me a map & invited me to their Meetup rides. I love the Ahwatukee Appetizer rides (where I have met some lovely people), & so after several of them, I asked Doug to keep his eye out for a bike for me when they went on sale. (Shhh, my accountant does not know I bought a new bike.) He delivered with a beautiful new carbon Ruby, & I just finished with him giving me a free custom fitting so my aging knees & back dont revolt. On top of that, he helped me with pricing of my old Dolce for Craigslist, & I sold it in one day to the first person that looked at it for the price I wanted! Thank you Doug & Global Bikes ...you are my shop of choice!

What a wonderful place. I was immediately greeted upon entering the store by a very friendly gentleman named James. I have also had the opportunity to speak with a man named Evan, and he is just as kind. I used to ride for DNA cycles but since they closed down I havent been able to find a really nice bike shop. I am glad I have to look no further. I was helped around the store and spoke to casually. I didnt feel pressured whatsoever and the chat there was very casual, and knowledge based. As I was checking out I mentioned that I hadnt ridden in a few years and James invited me to the rides every Sunday. And I was very pleased to hear that the ride was about 30mi. and at a really casual pace (18 or so MPH). That should help my fat booty out haha.. I would suggest this bike shop to anyone and honestly, I am very, very excited about riding with them. Go there! It is amazing! Thanks Global Bikes.

There is no better bike shop in the Ahwatukee area than Global Bikes! Evin Carr, the general manager, is committed to excellent knowledge and quality, but more so customer service. I had an issue with my bike that he went over and beyond what was expected of him to ensure I was taken care of. He was kind, patient and was very detailed in his explanation. In fact, when my husband and I showed up to pick up my bike, Evin was waiting outside, sitting on my bike after taking a few test rides. My husband was a fan of the Ahwatukee Global Bike shop and I am now an even bigger fan! This shop isnt just for the serious road or mountain biker, but also for the mom and pop leisurely street riders, like my husband and myself. We are customers for life now and know that whatever issues that may arise with our bikes, Evin and his team will take care of us - thanks a million!!! :-)

I went to see Doug at the Ahwatukee location for a bike fitting. Doug was pleasant and engaging, asked tons of questions, took my feedback and made sure that the fitting was a thorough and detailed process. He made changes to my cleats, the seat position, the seat height, the handlebar rotation and neck position. I quickly tested the changes before leaving and have a follow up planned after a few more rides. The first two rides have been great. The changes have made biking more comfortable and enjoyable. I have been to the Ahwatukee Global Bikes location for a number of small items in the past and they have always been polite, helpful and great to work with. I highly recommend the store and I cant recommend a bike fitting with Doug strongly enough. If you want your bike fitted so you get the most out of your bike, go see Doug.
