I am a car saleswoman and have been in the auto industry for a little over four years now so I know a little on how a customer should be treated. I have always had apple products, Apple TV, Macbook Pro 17", I MAC, Iphones, Ipads as well. Well I had the Iphone 4 for two days then had to go get it replaced mind you had the first generation which had the antenna problem. Went a year and a half without major problems, little flooks here and there, then all of a sudden the network receiver went crazy kept going from no service to 3g to no service again about every 30 seconds. I spent two hours with AT&T while they tried to do diagnostics on the network still didnt fix anything continued to do so for an entire day, so I then set up an appointment with the Fashion Place Mall Apple Retail Store as per AT&T. Waited at the store for 20 minutes after my appointment, finally spoke with someone and they sent me to the AT&T store to get a new SIM, told me if that didnt work to go back so I did, When I went back another 40 minutes later to get everything transferred from my previous SIM to the new one, the gentleman who had helped me was gone for night, they then tried to tell me to schedule another appointment I got angry then and they then decided to get me back in, another 35 minute wait. Finally had another guy come help me who yes very kind and helpful told me apple secretly released this update that fixes this problem put a whole new software on my phone. Took another hour to do so. My phone was working fine for a day until it started doing it again, I made another appointment back up there for that evening. Waited 20 minutes again passed my appointment time. I was there early so it was a longer waiting time but I wont count that. Finally I get helped had requested the same gentleman since I was there just a day before and he was nice and already knew what was going on. However he did not help me, a guy came out was nice he was from South Africa, didnt even bother to look at my phone just said yeah you should just get a new one. My warranty was obviously up so he said for a replacement it is $150 if you qualify for an upgrade it is $200. I said well can you fix it? He said did you get a new SIM I said yes he said no I cant. I said okay went over the scenarios I wanted to do seeing as how the new Iphone will be out not too much longer, he then proceeds to tell me well I dont want to push you so your fifteen minutes are up and you need to make another appointment when you make a decision. I then turned to him and said you just told me I needed a new phone so where in there does it seem like I can just go without a phone? I finally just paid the $150 to replace a phone that broke not because of my doing but because of a bad SIM reader and to be treated like I was wasting his time. I had a friend who was with me who had a DROID and was considering Apple but just because of the way I was treated doesnt even want to deal with them. I could never imagine telling someone who spends thousands in their products every year who spent a total of four hours within a two day period with them that their time was up. I am disgusted in how I was treated, and to be quite honest I am not sure I would ever recommend Apple again, My phone has broke 3 times, and was treated bad as well.

This mall is aweful! Its the only mall in the area that does a huge kiosk business. Most of these kiosks are staffed by highly skilled highly unethical sales people. They know every trick in the book and will take advantage of anyone to make a sale. Do not ever except samples from any of them. They count on your desire to be polite then wont let u leave. Ive seen women say out loud over and over "I cant afford this" then they will insult them telling tyem theyre cute but clearly not taking care of themselves or theyd buy the item. One women after being told by the customer that she couldnt afford the items and that the purchase would overdraft her account the clerk took the card out of her hand and ran it saying "well it doesnt hurt to try". Of course the card was not declined because banks will cover the first overage in most cases. These places prey on poor young people who are taught to be overly polite and dont know how to assertively say no. They are trained to only take a no when it gets to aggressive. They will even try to stop you from physically walking away. This mall is a den of theives. Other malls do not allow these kinds of shady kiosk sales schemes in their stores for a reason. Whoever is running that place does not have the standards you can expect to enjoy in other area malls. Drive the extra 2 minutes and go anywhere else.

WORST MALL IN UTAH! After trying to reach the mall managment for weeks I finally resorted to calling security to try and get a live person, when I did I was told this mall does not want groups of people at their mall. Even groups of 6 are a threat and they dont like birthday parties or any gathering of people. HELLO! Why wouldnt a mall want a group of people there spending money and eating at their food court? I was told if we came to the mall we would be escorted off property by mall security. We already had people coming from all over the valley and out of town to meet at food court and have dinner. So at 11 am we found a new mall to meet at and South Towne Mall was more than happy to have our group there and they were not rude and I was able to talk to mall personell on first phone call, It is a shame that a mall manager would turn away business from its stores and food court. It is a bigger shame that the manager of the mall was so rude and unaccomadating. None of our group will ever shop here again! Warning this mall is rude and doesnt want people at it.

Aesthetically pleasing. There are stores for everyone but everything is quality so expect to pay full price for things here. Its the type of place upper mid class people would frequent and mid class would come sparingly to buy something specific. Its nice to walk around and look at things. The mall is very clean, well decorated, and well organized. Ive never had any problem with employees, but Im sure it varies from store to store. I read some of the other comments on here it seems to me the people that complain are the extremely stuck up and spoiled type. If you get ripped off honestly I think its your own fault for not shopping around and if youre complaining because someone didnt hire you and didnt call you to say you didnt get the job, seriously grow up. The reviews should be for shopping experience. It pisses me off that someone gave the entire mall a one star review because two stores didnt call them back saying they didnt get the job. Seriously? Was it your first job hunt? You have issues.
