After an incident at the mall involving my 19 year old daughter where someone through a chair and hit the vehicle she was driving...the car happened to be mine.. my daughter was banned from the mall for a year which is fine. My problem is when I called to find out 2 things which were very generic and really had nothing to do with my daughter, the mall cop lied to me. I wanted to know where the list of rules for the mall are so it could be compared to the report she was given and the second was I asked where these reports were sent so she could obtain a copy of what the security guards allege occurred. They refused to give me any information because my daughter was an adult. I tried to explain that I wasnt asking about her dpecific case but rather where the information was sent. All I got was a badge #26. She refused to tell me where I could obtain mall rules or where incident reports are filed which is really insane. First of all the rules of the mall should be available to any Scottsdale resident at any time without regard to who I am or why I want them. To not provide them to me makes no sense. Secondly I believe that the location of where incident reports can be requested without asking for specific cases should have also been provided to me as a patron of the mall. I never asked for anything regarding her incident. Its another example of the security at this specific mall making it up as they go. Its unfortunate that the particular security guard lied to me at least 3 times during the conversation and how the management at fashion square continues to allow their security guards to disrespect patrons of the mall by lying and exhibiting obvious power hungry behavior is beyond me. I think you need to retrain this particular mall cop on edicate in dealing with the public. Hopefully you will heed my advice before this particular mall cop puts management in a situation they cant resolve

This is Adriber I will always provide the best and honest reviews. Great place to walk and shop around. I walked into several stores and must say regarding the stores and its employees were great every one smile and warm welcome every single customer that walk into the stores. My top 4 picks are Nordstom, Macys, Windows and Starbucks they were all very attentive, product/fashion knowledgeable and treated everyone fair regardless how you look. The only thing I must say is that walking in side the mall may get confusing at times especially for a first time visitor so having a phone with GPS helps. Most of the people/customers I saw in my visit were at least 35 and older didnt really see much 20 year olds not sure if time had too due as to the absence of younger folks. But I must assume theres plenty of young customers due to the movie theater thats inside. As always Im the firm believer of quality over quantity. This is my review and remember always look for adriber for the best and honest review.

The best mall all year long. Arizona is blessed with many great outdoor malls but outside winter they mostly are uncomfortable to visit. Fashion Square is great all year long. It is one of the most successful malls in America and for good reason. It is well managed, always clean, great upscale retail, and an awesome food court. Air conditioned in the summer, you wont get wet on a rainy day, and plenty warm in the winter. Compared to the nineties it has become one of the must see tourist destinations, so you will see a great deal of international visitors. Oh and parking is underground, covered, in structures everywhere. So generally you will not have a problem finding a spot. I just wish they had a bit more variety in the product mix. I feel it was better back in the nineties.

This place is a hell hole. cars driving around like theyre lost and people walking around like theyre lost because there are no clear and accurately labeled signs outside of the mall. you literally cannot get around this mall without an entire property map (which mind you, the property extends across main roads). its clearly a mall that started out small and outgrew itself, and the owners obviously have decided to not "grow with their growth". oh and lets not forget to mention that barneys (? or some block of the mall) has been under renovation for well over a year now which definitely doesnt help the aforementioned driving issues.

They do have some great food options and a great selection of high end clothing and accessories. But the crowd is just very trendy and the parking lot is a bumper car zone. I have avoided being hit by so many people drinking Starbucks and talking on the phone while attempting to drive in a straight line here its crazy. I have shopped here and more than once when looking to make a purchase felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman when she was on Rodeo Drive. Because I wasnt wearing the latest fashion and am not a flashy person they acted as if I was wasting their time until I told them Ill buy it. Then the service was excellent.

The amenities are always clean but a few toilets had water droplets sprayed all over I had to keep skipping stalls to find a dry seat. Im not touching a watery toilet seat. I get to where I need but its hard to read the directory because the location and the numbers are so spread apart I had to really concentrate to link my location to where I needed to be. I dont come here very often but making the store locations easier to read would help with navigation. Overall the pace is very nice but expect everything to be expensive. People here are so nice it made up for the other stuff at least.

This mall will give you the best shopping experience in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. It is packed with stores and cafes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes because this mall is huge. Never had an issue with parking. However, I did get accused of shoplifting once and I ended up in jail. If you are a minority be prepared to be prejudged by the people at some of the stores. Putting that aside, I still love this mall and buy most of my clothing from it or just go out to walk the huge mall in the scorching summer days when its too hot to go to the outdoor malls.

Good mall. However, my sister went to the Claires to get her ears pierced the day before her birthday. (Turning 8) They got one earring in, and the other one was bent, therefore wedged in her earlobe instead of through it. The woman who pierced it had to wiggle it out of her ear- ouch! They apologized, but we went to another Claires in the Tempe MarketPlace to get it repierced. She now has both pierced, but the second might be messed up due to being pierced twice. While the woman who messed up the piercing was nice, she may have had a lack of experience.
