Dont come here if you:----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.)Know how to discipline your child.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.)Care about your child--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.)Make under 100K--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.)Know how to discipline your child---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I dont know how many times I see children wandering around without an adult in the mall. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.)Care about your child--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Then there is the play area, I like to call "an any age free for all." The play area in front of Barnes and Noble is an absolute nightmare. All of the parents that go there forget what the word self control is when it comes to their little prince or princess. Kids 2 to 8 play here. Thats right, I said 2 to 8. Youll have 8 year old kids climbing on everything running around the entire area without a disregard for anyone else but themselves. This is the whole prince and princess thing I am referring to, maybe I should just call it entitled to the entire playground. Dont go here if you dont want your child bitten, kicked, pushed, shoved, or anything else under the sun. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.)Make under 100K. This is a "fashion center." Full of name brand stores, you better have money if you want to come here. But this is expected as they are trying to tap into the tech employees that Chandler is full of. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why I am publishing with "Gureen Tree?" Well, I dont want to be black balled by employers for leaving a negative review is all. If you dont know the term, google it.

The mall gets four stars from me (it has a wide variety of stores and shops and its quite well clean. However, the play area for children, does not; Id say it would get at most a 1 1/2 to 2 stars. I get that the play area is free play, which is helpful when your kiddos need to get some energy out in an semi-enclosed area, but there needs to be some monitoring. There should an employee there or nearby to help monitor what goes on in the play area. Some parents just drop their kids off alone, other parents dont monitor or guide their children in seemingly any way. I have no problem saying things to parents and their children when their child/ children may make it difficult for other children to play (bullying, leaving trash out/etc.), but sometimes it gets to be too much. When you have toddlers that go to play and there are other children playing rough, older children in the "little tots" corner, or older children climbing up the slides/ play toys and making it difficult for younger children to play, it gets frustrating. Also, lot of the toys and benches are in need of repair and cleaning. Maybe it would be helpful to have a small jungle gym (like a smaller version of a Mcdonalds Playplace) for the older kids to climb on? Or even a clearly separated place for them to play? Children are children, each of them deserves a place to play, but they all need a little more guidance especially when it comes to being safe and polite around others. It is ultimately up to the parents to encourage good behaviors such as these, but I am sure there is something more the mall can do to help.

This is one of my favorite malls! I have been to several malls across the country including those in Georgia, Kentucky, Washington D.C. and more, and this is one of the nicest! The double story give room for plenty of stores, and the mall in general is very well lit. The food court has many different styles of food including Mexican, Chinese, Japanese (though the Japanese and Chinese restaurants are from the same chain(Panda Express) and sell much of the same food), Sandwich shops, Philly Cheese Steaks, and a Paradise Bakery. The eat-in restaurants include Cheesecake Factory, Buffalo Wild Wings, California Pizza Kitchen, and Others. The mall (as malls generally do) has a good selection of stores, include clothing, perfume, department, and others. The highlights of the mini-food carts at the mall in the Cinnabon place near the food court. This is one of the best malls in Central Arizona, better than the fiesta mall and Arizona Mills, and closely rivalling the Scottsdale Fashion Center.

Homophobia and transphobia isnt all that scary until you experience it for yourself. I was denied a haircut at Tonsonal Barber at Chandler Fashion Center, because the barber wasnt "comfortable" cutting my hair. I went in for a taper fade and a line up; a typical "Mens Haircut", and he stressed the fact he doesnt cut girls hair. I repeatedly told the man "Im not a girl" and he kept telling me to come back the next morning so someone else could cut my hair, because he said " Im not discriminating or anything bro, I just dont do that." I was frozen in place, didnt realize what was going on why this man denied service for my appearance I did nothing to him, this is the first time Ive ever seen this man. No one deserves to be treated this way. IGNORANCE

Chandler Fashion Center has been built for many-a-year, but has maintained its beauty & open, bright, airiness! Its not horrendously crowded, like some malls can be, maybe cause its so big & bright, Idk. Its got lots of great stores & a Wildflower cafe, just around the corner from Macys, heading over to Dillards. I love eating at Wildflower, so I post about it a lot, lol. Theres lots of nice restaurants out among its parking lot, like The Elephant Bar, & across the street on Fry, theres a Costco! This mall is just up the road from the Price Business Corridor; on the other side of the 101 theres more stores, like Ulta & Nordstroms Rack..... These are not part of the mall, but nice to mention & definitely help out the malls draw, I think.

Beautifully kept indoor mall. Always very clean. Good parking. All the best shops. The food court is lacking options, very basic, but with lots of tables. The Wild Flower Bread Company is on lower floor for a non-fast food feel. Super yummy sandwiches, soups, salads, and desserts. Everything made from scratch. The Cheesecake Factory is also here. This mall has "The Body Shop" always a treat for your skin, and the only store located in Arizona. All the best department stores are also here at this mall Dillards, Macys, Nordstrom, etc. Higher end brand name stores also Coach, MK, WHBM, chicos, crate & barrel, Apple, Microsoft, H&M, Godiva Chocolates, Sees candles, etc.

Love the chandler mall. Just dont shop at express!!!!! My family and I went over to express yesterday afternoon 3/22/17 around 1:30 2pm-ish. The 2 people male and female behind the cash registers were the rudest absolutely no costomer service people I have ever come across... I never leave reviews, but this was the worst and most horrible experience weve ever had. I hope that management reads these reviews, and pays attention to what kind of people they are hiring to run this particular store. I was sooooo incredibly upset we ended up not buying anything and leaving. I will never shop at this Express store again.

Of the 2 closing females, the 1 with orange hair (wears red glasses) RUDELY told me from across the room that they closed in 10 minutes (I was returning to purchase an outfit I saw earlier). When I asked to try on the outfit, because I am aware of the non-refundable purchase, that same female said NO, because they closed soon. Then the other girl, a simple brunette, let us in... only to return to the cash register and saw "we are closing. Go away" under her breath. The girls never checked on me, never even greeted me. Poor Q (the one upstairs ) I would be worried about Loss Prevention at this location.
