I bought a car from Haacke Motors a few months ago. When I test drove the car I noticed a slight power surge while the car shifted into second gear. When I asked Carter (The Dealership owner) if he knew anything about it, he said it was the first he had heard of it. But assured me that he would take it to a Ford mechanic in the morning to have it checked. He told me he had it checked by a Ford mechanic and it all checked out fine. So I felt confident, and bought the car. Only a couple days after taking it home, I noticed enormous, and dangerous, lunging and shuttering while shifting. So I took it to a Ford dealer. They checked into it, and reported that there where leaky seals and a number of problems with the transmission that took an entire work day of shop labor to fix in order to be fit for the road. When I called Carter about the issue that Ford found, I asked him if he would be interested in an auto buy-back because an issue I had asked about and he assured me was fine before I bought the car, was in fact a very big and dangerous issue. When I was interested in buying the car, Carter always answered his phone and was always very accommodating. After alerting him of this issue he said he would get back to me, and I could not get a hold of him for two weeks. He was not returning phone calls or texts. It wasnt until I threatened to involve our family lawyer that Carter finally called me right back. He left a message though, and explained that as far as he is concerned it was a non-issue, whatever that was supposed to mean. If you find a car being sold at Haacke Motors that you are interested in, I advise spending a little time and money having it thoroughly checked by a trusted mechanic. But even then, you might want to shop elsewhere. They come across as trustworthy people, but they are very dishonest and only interested in making their cash register ring. If you have any issues with a car you bought from them, they will avoid you and will not stand behind what they sold you. Just a speculation, but I am quite certain Carter knew about the transmission issue before selling me the car. It is disappointing to see local businesses run like this. I am only running this review because I hope to prevent anyone else from making the enormous mistake I made. I am now stuck with a bad car that I cannot sell without losing thousands of dollars. Thanks Carter Haacke!!

I purchased a convertible from this dealership. As soon as I got on the freeway the check engine light came on. I called them immediately, they told me it was because they put gas in the tank. I did more investigation with the codes, it turns out that the codes were indication a major engine failure. It was an approximate $4000 repair. Also when i test drove the car i noticed a small oil leak from the roof. Brad told me it was from their mechanic who had serviced the mechanism of the roof and that it was a temporary problem. It turns out that that was a blatant lie. Their mechanic had never service the roof in fact the leak was coming from a hydralulic locking device to hold the roof in place. Again this lie would have cost approx $1000 to repair. They went back and forth with me on the repairs as they kept stating that they had repaired the problem. This was a hardship as I lived an hour away from the dealership. It became a joke, they had the car more than I did. Through the process I kept asking them to let me return the car. After several months of trying to get things resolved they finally said they would let me return it. Of course they charged me almost $3000 to do so and then to add insult to injury they claimed that they bought it back from me so I couldnt get my sales tax back from the state. This whole process was a complete joke. Yes during the time of buying the car they were very kind and nice... Carter was always easy to reach by phone. as things fell apart it became more difficult to reach him. Kelly his wife is very nice but dont let that fool you. Yes there are a lot of details that I left out but in the end I got screwed. they will say that they didnt have to buy the car back, well if the car was that reliable then they shouldnt have a problem taking it back . I believe they knew before hand about the engine problem, I witnessed them resetting the codes several times. They will claim that they went above and beyond to help me, of course they did they didnt want this lemon back on their lot. I would rather walk than purchase a car from this dealership. They are more concerned with their personal toys than customer service. You know what they say about an unhappy customer they will tell 11 people and a happy customer will tell 3 or 4. Now we have the internet BUYER BEWARE!!

My experience at Haacke Motors was horrible. Brad at Haacke Motors posted a set of tires and wheels in the classified ads for sale, when I called him and he answered the phone, I asked the question, how many miles are on them?, he abruptly told me "Zero" and that he is a dealer and gets new Fords in all of the time and these were simply take offs from a new truck. When I arrived at the dealership and went back to look at the tires he admitted to me that they actually have a few thousand miles on them. The classic bait and switch. With the immediate loss of confidence in what I was buying I then asked him if the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors) were still in the tires, he looked me straight in the eye and told me “Yes”. The tire store installing the tires for me, told me that the sensors were not in the tires. Brad knowingly lied to me as the owner Carter Haacke told me a few days later that Brad knew the sensors were not in the tires. I am glad I only spent $1,200.00 with them on a set of wheels and tires, I can’t imagine buying a vehicle from them. For anyone who is thinking of a vehicle purchase or any purchase at all I would advise not to do it. My phone call with Carter Haacke dealing with my complaint was most unprofessional and very unpleasant. He fabricated that I threatened his wife and co-owner, Kelly Haacke and challenged me to come threaten him as if he was going to beat me up like a Jr. High School Kid, I then hung up on him, he called back leaving a voice mail and calling me a coward. What kind of customer service does that? There are better people out there than this to buy from.

Absolutely the best experience with a dealership Ive ever had! I absolutely hate car shopping and have been working the past 3 months or more trying to find a truck based on all my nit picks. After like my bazillionth dealer run-around, my brother-in-law told me to check out Haacke motors and to give Kelly a call. Kelly and Carter worked hard and not only found me a truck with the options and specs Ive been hunting for, but a year newer than I had planned and with less miles! These guys are absolutely amazing! No high-pressure sales tactics, run-around, or other problems you encounter at many dealerships. Everything from customer service, to communication, to the purchase was simply smooth sailing! I only have one regret: not working with them from the get-go. . . which Ill have to blame on my brother-in-law. :-) If my wife and I are ever in the market for another vehicle, Ill be working through Haacke Motors for sure. Thank you Kelly, Carter, and Brett!
