Late Feb 2017. After having my old dodge engine took a dump on me on my way back to Las Vegas. I decided to post an ad for a truck wanted on Craigslist while I was stuck in Utah. I was contacted by Dan at Auto Ape to check out salvage vehicles. He took the time to help look over some upcoming auctions. I came across a 2002 F250 at rather good price. That only need a little help. He also bartered an exchange for the dead truck for the repairs and helped get a rebuilt title. I use to see salvage title and run the other way. But this experience has changed my views on it. Its a tool. I dont drive the paper title. Due diligence is required. The 3 months I have had this truck it has paid for itself. 11,000 on this $1200 and it drives straight and no issues. His fees were resonable. I would recommend going this route if you plan to keep the vehicle or drive huge amount of miles like myself.

I must say Dan is very committed to his customers and wanted to help them with a car they can truly afford, many people struggle these days. I just hope Dan can find the capital he needs and take this biz to next level. I am planning to buy a nice car from Dan and I will tell my neighbours about Dan. Dan can talk right and he can be a campaign advisor to Donald Trump. Interestingly I am connected to Don Trump Jr, the son.

This guy is a joke! He advertises on ksl a vehicle for sale at a REAL cheap price then when you get there its of course sold. Then tries to sell you just an utter piece of crap.Then a couple weeks later the same vehicle is still on ksl. I went back just to see what he was pulling and low and behold same thing (he didnt even remember me. Its just a bate and switch typical used car gag. Get real Dan (thats the owner i assume)

So we got a 2001 Acura TL. Front and rear emblems were painted black with a spray can, the windshield leaks, licence plate was not connected and my wife was driving on unsafe tire pressures The owner is a nice man who does the best he can, I suspect his employees dont follow his directions .
