Well first off I would like to say that I could not be more impressed with buying a car at Red Rock Auto. For an Independent dealer they sure have their act together. I did a lot of research online on what vehicle I wanted to buy next. I will have to say I was a little uncertain at first about the low prices online at Red Rock, but I had to see for myself, you know "whats the catch?" I am real busy with work and didnt have much time. So I did most of the information over the phone and e-mail. Believe it or not Mike Sargent is extremely responsive via text messages. We must have bounced over 20 text messages. After going back and forth over price and payment options, Mike assured me that he could offer a lower rate through a bank he preferred to use over my personal bank of 17 years. I did not believe him at first, but I was amazed my bank offered me a rate at 2.9 and he did come through with a lower rate of 1.99. I was pretty shocked he knew his stuff! So what the heck, I thought I should now at least come down and see the car before I agree to buy it. I showed up later in the day and was greeted with a very nice young girl at the front desk. I went on a demo ride with Taylor, and he was extremely friendly and really cared about my interested in my purchase. Taylor was awesome and was not a high pressure kind of guy. Then I was passed onto Mike, and I will say I was pretty amazed to see how young this entire group is for being in the business. The place was pretty nicely setup place, considering the age of the building. Mike seem to be the guy that did all the numbers, and he assured me was fast with paperwork. I have bought many cars before and I hate sitting at the dealer for hours. I still tried to bargain a better deal then, but he showed me paperwork on the car and the items he replaced on it, his "cost of doing business." He made sense of it and I agreed the dealer needed to make a fair profit on it. It was a good deal for me! Mike was no pressure on up selling, and there was no hidden fees or little add-ons thrown at me. I am a numbers guy, and what he quoted via text is what he passed on to me right there. All in all it took me less than 40 minutes to sign all my contracts, and I was on the road. Just wow! I would not expect this from a small dealer, but I can clearly tell that Mike has plenty of years in the business. The whole team at Red Rock works together well and all were very friendly. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a used car to come see the team at Red Rock, because they sure impressed me!

Used Car Buyers, Beware Red Rock Automotive!! Not sure where to start, but this place is totally unprofessional!! I just had the worst experience ever with Red Rock, specifically Wade and Mike. I live out of state but was strongly considering buying a car from Red Rock Auto after seeing one online I liked. Im a serious cash buyer and wanted to proceed further. So, after a week of on going, online negotiations with Wade, I decided to take it to the final step. I told him as a smart consumer I would of course never buy a used car or talk final price without first having it taken to an outside shop for inspection. And pending that outcome, I was more than prepared to make a fair offer on the car. Wade agreed to take it to a shop my mechanic suggested there, in the area. But, he also literally said that unless I gave him an "up front, out the door price" that it would be a waste of his time to take it for inspection since it would most likely result in a lower offer on my part, and essentially, net him less money!!! I told him, as a smart consumer, I could never dream of making an offer on a used car from anyone, anywhere, even a five- star dealer like he claims to be, without having my own outside inspection done first. How, or why would anyone do that?? After all, Carfax and dealer claims like Wades, that a car is in great shape, would certainly be a slim reed to hang a major purchase like a used car on, especially when I might be spending close to $20,000! Dont know about you, but I certainly want that outside inspection done first, so I know exactly what I might, or might not be buying! To make matters worse, the last email I received was from Mike, possibly the owner, who said, "We have no problem accommodating a buyer by taking the vehicle there, however we have had experiences where buyers have had their vehicles to third party shops, who have been given a clean bill of health and "thumbs up" from their selected service shop and then offer a price that isnt feasible for making a purchase. " BOTTOM LINE: They were both obviously afraid Id make a low offer based on whatever the outside shop inspection found. Which must mean they know something would show up on that inspection that would cause me to have concern enough to warrant a lower offer. But, isnt that the whole point of an outside inspection? To protect the consumer from either over paying for a car that isnt worth the amount being asked, and or possibly even buying an unsafe car to begin with?? You Tell Me!!!

I bought a 2013 Nissan leaf with low miles from them. I initially worked with Mike but then after the sale Taylor helped me learn the cars features. First thing the product: They had an awesome car with low miles and that was exactly what I was looking for. I needed a white car with just the right amount of bells and whistles. I needed a well taken care car that was only owned by one owner. They choose the cars that they sell carefully so they actually had 2 cars that met my criteria. Honestly, I could not find even a single car that met my criteria at other dealers within my price range and there werent any private party sellers selling the car on Craiglstist either. Long story short: they have a good selection and well selected cars that you actually want to own for the long term. Service: They are not your sleazy used car sales people. At least, I can speak for Mike and Taylor and I think they are the owners and partners. They do not pressure you to buy or push a car. It was a pleasant surprise to deal with them while I was looking for the right car for me in their lot. Then when time came to negotiate, I had a pleasant time negotiating with them. They were firm but polite and gave me their bottomline figure. Finally, when it was time to sign the documents, I was worried they were going to sneak some extra expenses in there like some other dealers sometimes do. Nothing! Nothing is a good thing in this case. They did not try to rip me off by adding junk dealership fees, paint protection and extended warranties etc.. The price we agreed on was the price I got in the documents! What a concept! Wish all car dealers had the same integrity. The whole signing process only took about 30 minutes because I had already applied for credit online on their site and Mike had all the paperwork ready. BTW, they have some good financing deals that you should check out before you decide on from whom to finance your car. After signing the documents, Mike got done and then Taylor took over. He spent considerable amount of time explaining me the features of the car and the user interface. I cant recommend Mike and Taylor enough. If you are looking for car, go see them. If they have the car you are looking for, you will have an amazing experience.
