This is it. Ive been looking for a great local bike shop (LBS) and I found it here. I drive by a number of LBS that have been okay but Thomas and the team make it worth the drive. It was recommended by some friends from church. After stopping by the store to look at upgrading pedals, Thomas took the time to walk through different options and share his insights and overall tips in such a way that was very helpful without being condescending. I purchased the pedals and shoes that evening even though I didnt have my bike with me since I hadnt plan to buy yet. I returned the next night and they installed them without having to wait. They answered even more questions for me during the installation and encouraged me to try it in the parking lot. They even loaned me a helmet. The product suggestions were right on target for me rather than just being the most expensive. They certainly earned my business and my respect.

Do not buy here. They lie and know nothing about what they are selling! I ordered 2 bikes online and had them sent to the store and went to pick them up so I could assemble them and adjust them and they would not let me take them unassembled. They said they have an internal not external policy that bikes have to be assembled when they leave the store. Why should an internal policy that has not been advertised to the customer affect the customer. I had to call the Southlake Police to get my bike and it was still assembled by an idiot. Nothing was tight or adjusted the way I wanted it. If I had taken off down a dirt path I wouldve been seriously hurt in the process. I had to drive 3 times to store and the customer is horrible. These people believe they are the big dog in this industry and can command any experience with them.

I purchased the half price $79.99 Spin Doctor Professional tune up for $39.99 plus a new crankset, chain and two tires. I was charged labor for all items to be installed, plus of course the Protune. What I got back was installed parts and apparently no regard to tune... The rear brake was not adjusted, the front tire was smashed against the reflector, which broke off immediately and the chain will not shift down to the smallest chain ring. I thought they would at least clean some of the grunge off the front and rear derailers while installing parts but NO. Not included! Yes, this is not my higher end road bike that I ride most of the time, but if they cant take care of my old go-to, solid Giant hybrid bike, they sure as heck will not be trusted with my road bike. Quick answer, poor value.

This is a really nice "down to earth" kinda shop, with pleasant, unassuming employees. Yes, they dont have all the eye candy of a boutique shop, but still plenty for the amateur racers and weekend warriors. Thomas helped me with a Ridley test ride and in all honesty the Helium blew everything I have tested so far out of the water. They also carry a full line of Fuji, GT and Diamondback. All worthy and proven by the pro peloton. You can browse at leisure, ask questions and feel welcome. A nice change from the typical "too cool for school" attitude you get from the big boys and high end shops. The shop is kinda hidden since it faces 114 and cannot be seen, but once you find it youll figure out a backway from Southlake Blvd.

Love this bike store. Unfortunately I already invested in bikes for the family. Ive purchased all gear Ive needed and will continue to purchase more gear from them. Staff was great at the store and dont make you feel stupid just because you ask questions. If you are thinking about getting into biking I recommend taking a look at them. Feel free to ask any question. Sign up for their rewards card as it is worth every penny (turns into dollars quickly.) Con-they dont carry more brands. I dont really care for Diamondback, Fuji or GT.

Ive shopped here since Performance opened in Southlake, but Im taking all my business to Mad Duck in Grapevine. When you dont respect customers, and give them an attitude, they leave Ron! Buy your gear and get your repairs somewhere else. Longtime store Manager Aaron always has a smile on his face and a super helpful person who cares about the customer experience. Aaron has been the star employee at this location for sometime now. Thanks for all the help Aaron! I appreciate your great attitude pal ;) Keep up the great work!!

Ive been a Performance Bike customer for a while now, and have always appreciated their prices, their quality clothing, and their great service. Today, I had a small issue and Andrew at the Southlake Tx store really took care of me. I have also been very impressed with the manager there, Thomas, who is very friendly and helpful. These guys rock and have my future business! My wife is not too happy though, because Im in the store every weekend. :o)

I bought a new saddle for my Diamondback Mountain Bike yesterday. It was not busy and I was waited on instantly as it should be when not busy. They had a good selection of saddles and the bike selection was superior to other bike shops I have been in. I was interested in a bike for my sweetie and the salesperson was very helpful. I think I will return to buy a bike. Dean

There were great bikes for a reasonable price. I love the moutain bike I got. The staff was really helpful and attentive. I really liked being taken seriously as a customer when I am just a college student. Most bike shops really did not take me seriously as a customer.

I was ignored by the employees, apparently I do not fit the profile of a person that would actually purchase a bike. After 30 minutes of walking around and being ignored I decided to leave and take my business elsewhere. I would not recommend.

Very nice and knowledgable staff. No high pressure, lots of useful information and help. Once the bike came in, the tech and manager spent 30 minutes after closing getting everything set up right. A nice, independent shop vibe.

I bought my first real bike here and the staff was great. Really polite people, dont try to push you to purchase the expensive stuff and offer great insight. They have some great sales and offer great service on your bike.

I referred already several people here and they have nothing but good things to say about the service offered here. Mechanics are always on point and you can tell they are knowledgeable at what they do.
