I purchased a bike from the Arlington Bicycles, Inc. The service was great during the sales part. We put the bike on layaway, and I returned a couple of months later. When I returned the bell was damaged. They agreed to order a replacement, at my request, not their own initiative. I was told that I should return with the bike in 30-60 days so that they could make adjustments to the bike. Bringing the bike in, was not a simple task for me, since I have no bike rack or SUV. (I have no need for one with my urban biking) I had to solicit help from a friend, and drive across town. I called first to ask about the process, and they impatiently explained that I would have to return to get my bike 2 days later. Ugh...what a hassle since I was already asking my friend to help me load and bring the bike there. When I arrived with my bike, a different employee seemed ambivalent about my existence in the store. He said if there was nothing wrong with the bike, there really wasnt a reason to be there with it. I explained that I was told when purchasing that I should bring it back. He said there wasnt much he could do except check the tire pressure. He also put on my new bell. What a hassle for nothing. Not even a smile. The bike has a lifetime of free tune-ups there, but its going to be a long road if this is the type of experience I can expect. I should have shopped closer to home.

I`m the kind of person that always read reviews and check prices online before making a purchase. Before going to bicycles inc I read some bad reviews so I went there expecting the worse. I was wrong. There was a guy named Robert with long hair who was really nice and helpfull, even when I told him that i was not ready to buy a bicycle and that i was just browsing, he explained to me the sizes, components, services, deals and sales and options of payment that they had. He even insisted me to try some of the bikes. well long story short I put a bicycle in lay away. A month after when I finally had the money to pay the bike of, I went there again but I couldnt find Robert and I wanted to try another bicycle that I saw online. I thought that it would be a hassle to them since all the things a read before to ask to let me try some other bikes especially when I already tried 4 before and had 1 in lay away, well once again I was wrong. A lady which I dont remember her name and a guy who seamed to be the store manager helped me in a really nice way giving me all the explanations necesary to make the right desition. Now Im happy with my bicycle and the service I received. My point is: Give them a try. Alex Sandoval

I have purchased 3 bikes from this place over the past 7 years. I have always loved this location and felt very loyal to them. However I went in this past Saturday and wanted a specific mountain bike and was prepared to spend $1400 on it. However the salesmen told me that the 2016 models were gone and that I should spend $1500 on a 2017 model (A totally different model because this one had a better fork blah blah blah). He told me the 2016 model was not in any store and that I had to order this other one. So I did.... The next day I went to the Hurst location to pick something up for my road bike since I live right by that shop. I walk to the back and see the exact model I wanted, the exact size, and color... Also it was on sale for $1300. I could not believe that the Arlington Shop lied to me and told me that they did not have that bike at all and there it was sitting in a sister store... They simply just tried to take advantage and up sale me all for $200... I wont ever be going to the Arlington Store again... ever again.... The guys at the Hurst shop were great and took care of me very well. Got the bike I wanted all along and at a cheaper price.

I purchased a Trek verve 21 speed ladies bike there. Richard was my salesperson and he is an awesome person. He spent 2 hours with me helping me choose between 2 bikes. I returned to have the handle grips changed and he was again very helpful. Last Monday I went to have the stock saddle changed and was totally ignored. No one open the door in or out and no one said Hi or offered to help. Richard was off which I didnt know. I did get a new seat but it wasnt adjusted properly and since it looked like I was more of a bother I left. I returned today and Richard was in. He welcomed me with a smile and a Hi and fixed my seat, my handles, the shift gears and my brakes and rode out with me on the property and did a few more adjustments. Not only did he open the door but he got my bike off the rack and back on when I was ready. Ask for Richard if you want a good experience and treated right. He is off Monday and Wednesday. Thank-you Richard, you rock.

I took my sons bike in on a Wednesday evening because his tire was flat because hed run into a curb. Because the bike had a long stem on the tire tube, they had to order the new tube and the guy told me it would be a week at worst. I called exactly a week later since I hadnt heard from them and he told they were still waiting on the part and the mechanic had the expected ready date for the following day and hed call me when it was ready, like I was wrong for calling. WELL it was 2 more days after that when I finally get a call to come pick up the ready bike. My son rides the bike to school 4 days later (for the 1st time since it was "fixed") and when he comes out out of school at the end of the day, HIS TIRE IS FLAT AGAIN!!!! We also noticed the stem on the tire tube is short! So I waited over week and wasted money for them NOT to fix my sons bike and he still cant ride it school!!! I wont ever go back!!

Great bike shop with a large selection and fair prices. The atmosphere is non-pressuring and friendly. The staff are knowledgeable and professional and they really seem to love their job. If you are a novice or an expect with biking, they can and will talk with you on your level. I went in to buy a bike for my wifes birthday and found what I was looking for here cheaper than I could find it anywhere else. They ordered the model with the number of gears I wanted and assembled it within two days and called me when it was ready. After they called, I brought my wife up to the store for her surprise present. They had the bike out in front and had put a pink bow on it with a Happy Birthday note! They helped get her fit to the bike and were very helpful. Another thing, my mother in law recently purchased a townie in the Houston area for $150 more than what Bicycles Inc. were selling the same bike for.
