I live in Fort Worth, so Highland Village is a hour drive for me. But, after several recommendations from a fellow cyclist to stop by Cadence Cyclery I decided the trek may be worth it. It started with Damon from Cadence taking a part off his own crank on his bike to repair mine when I was racing in Palo Duro Canyon.... and he had just met me. Being impressed, I drove to the shop to get a part he recommended for my bottom bracket (which finally fixed that creaky thing!) and I was blown away by the level of customer service I received. In an age of buying bikes and parts online, Cadence and its employees reminds us why a bike shop, like the way they run their shop, will thrive. I ended up buying a Giant TCR road bike in the last week from them after Damon patiently answered my endless questions. After the sale, Damon and the shop have gone above and beyond making sure I have been satisfied with my purchase and happy on my new racing steed. From staying after hours to re-wrap different bars, (because Im picky and didnt like the ones I chose) to giving the part off his bike (shirt off his back reference), Cadence Cyclerys employees and shop is worth the drive from wherever you are in the metroplex. Im happy to drive an hour to receive the level of service I have enjoyed. Thank you Cadence and thank you Damon. - Scott

The team at Cadence bike shop are great! I was new to the MTB world here in Texas. I had bought a cheap bike to get started and after a few rides I knew I was hooked. So I began to look around at different shops for an upgrade. I went to several shops around DFW and no one was really helpful. I went to all the big brand shops and everyone was very hesitant to give advice. No one at the shops knew any real detail on the bikes. Cadence was a totally different story. The guys at the shop talked with me about my style of riding. What I wanted out of a bike. Then proceeded to discuss every bike in their shop with me. The benefits of each. What I may not like about each one. They really went out of their way to explain everything and I left the shop with an awesome bike that I love to this day. Even after buying the bike, the guys at the shop know me by name. Take care of my bike and quickly every time I may have an issue. I cant speak anymore highly of the team out at Cadence. You cant go wrong with this shop. They are lovers of the sport and truly knowledgeable on the bikes they sell and their competition.

I went to about 4 other bike shops before buying my bike here. I am more of an intermediate MTB rider and did a bit of research. All of the other stores tried to put me into a 2500+ bike and did not really listen to my wants ( i didnt want a 29er even if they are the BEST). Josh was very knowledgeable about MTBs of the other bikes I was considering and of the bikes they had in store. He was very helpful in making a decision. Josh stayed well within my budget and didnt try to push me up into a more expensive bike. I am extremely happy with my purchase and will come back for my next bike!

Im a longtime customer of the McKinney location, but as Highland Village is closer to work I decided to try out the new location. I got the same great service here as Ive come to expect in McKinney. I took my bike in for a fork service and they had it ready within 2 days. The prices there are great too. I picked up a new tire for the same price as online retailers. I cant say enough good things about Cadence. They are my store of choice, despite being a lot further from my house and work than several other stores.

This shop was recommended by the guy I bought my Giant TCR Advance Pro 1 from... so I stopped by to get fitted... No other customers in the store, but the two guys said they couldnt do it because they were expecting a large group in 30 mins for a clinic.... really???? Turn away a customer because you might have a big group... poor staff planning or poor customer service... you pick. Its too bad because Im new to the area and this shop would have been convenient for me.

Great cycle shop. Cadence is building their brand on impeccable customer service, and is noticed the moment you come into contact with a cycle specialist. The shop carries many component products that you would not find else where. The prices are set competatively with online retailers. Damon makes the best cup of espresso within a 2 mile radius.

Ive had nothing but great assistance and help from Damon and the entire staff at Cadence. I bought my first carbon bike from them in June, and while it hasnt needed much, they have made the adjustments or trued my wheel right then and there. The entire staff has been ready to help and give advice about riding in general.

Really enjoying the new bike store in Highland Village. They have a great selection of bikes and the staff is very knowledgeable and accomodating. This bike store is not in Sugar Land, not sure why Google has that as the listed location.
