SCAM. DONT BUY ANY POWER TOOLS OR AIR COMPRESSORS FROM HERE. After paying almost $200 for an air compressor that barely works right, broke its air filter upon the first use (managers at HF only had a parts number that put me on hold for over 30 minutes to get a "replacement"), has to constantly refill, is ridiculously loud, and shakes the entire building you work in because of a poorly designed engine and motor mounts, they stole $40 from the return price and get the resell the crap air compressor at a $40 profit. The only problem is you can only find this out AFTER you make the purchase. I thought them dropping their well-known lifetime warranty was bad enough but this is even worse. Nowhere on the price tag or when you make the purchase does it say subject to restock fee. Only after you make the purchase and then you cant return it at full price. Take your hard earned money elsewhere for any serious tools, this place will nickel and dime you on everything other than just a stupid hammer. They have "sales" every single week and are happy to spam your email constantly to get you through their crappy doors.

I love Harbor Freight and I enjoy this location because its closer to my house in Wylie (closer than the one in Richardson) and its a lot easier to access for me. You can easily access it on the eastbound lanes of the 66 (Lakeview Parkway) or the northbound lanes of Rowlett road. Easy to find and can clearly see from the road and the intersection of Rowlett & SR-66. If you are not familiar with HFT, the tools are great and most of the hand tools are lifetime warranted. Ive had tools break on me and I returned one 4 years later and the other about 2 years after the purchase and they just refunded my money on one and gave me a new tool on the other. The service is good, the price is right and the quality-for-the-price is excellent. Some may say its cheaper and not quality tools. Heres how Ill say it: "If you are a hobbyist or just need tools for work around the house, HFT is the perfect place for you!" Why? Because the price is always right and its a very low risk for your investment, especially if you are just doing it for fun or for a weekend project.

Tools and quality are great, but un fortunately joe (the manager )had ruined me from ever coming back the cashier at the front was a white female who was very nice and let me borrow a tool after I had bought something to put on my car I came back in and asked joe if I could borrow another tool to get the hitch ball off and he said no you cant use our hardware on your car. And was said with a rude tone the store employees need to go over customer service as it is a really big aspect in businesses. Now on to finding another store with great prices with reliable tools

Very Rude Cashier!!! I wanted to buy a $354 compressor and the cashier refused to assist me in getting the model # so he can ring it up. Even after I gave him the model #,size and price!! There wasnt any slips to take to the counter.He was very rude and disrespectful. I used to go to this location all the time. Now ill never step foot in this place again!

Great prices on good tools , smart shoppers can find great deals & great quality models will cost a little more and perform well, read the reviews and buy the better models. The black compressors are the best, dont buy the red models

Newest location in this area for discounted tools and hobby. I have been here a few times and the staff are very friendly. Great option for a quick tool or trying to learn a new trade without significant expense but very good quality.

This place is a tools guys dream. Free stuff with certain purchases. Small enough store for the staff to remember the regulars but large enough to have just about everything you could want.
