My initial experience was pleasant, the door greeter was very nice and pointed me in the right direction. Unfortunately, this first impression didnt last. I waited over an hour to be assisted... With the occasional peek from an associate to make sure I wasnt stealing. Finally an A/C service consultant came to the rescue, sort of... This fine gentleman who only wanted to help, asked a passing employee to help me. She asked what I needed and then nodded her head to the direction I came from and kept walking. I finally got sent to the customer service desk, only to be helped again by the associate that passed me earlier. I felt as if I was finally getting somewhere after driving to a other town to get an item that showed to be in stock online. The associate finally was able to help me by telling me the one item they had in stock was the display and I had to purchase it "as is". I ended up paying $75 more than I wanted to buying several tools that this one tool would have helped me with. This was after a kid presumably still in high school couldnt give me any alternatives and already 2 hours behind I made the purchase and drove back through traffic to get to my home town!!!!!

Very helpful Home Depot - as in the Orange aprons - staff, knowledgeable and even load up your car for you (with a large purchase). However, whoever those independent sales in the black aprons are, haggling and harassing you on their services make it extremely uncomfortable. I was looking at patio furniture and a lady in a black apron came up to me and started pushing her companys patio product on me. When I told her I wasnt interested, she did leave. Then she bothered me outside again. Then on my way out, literally at the checkout, a man in a black apron started haggling me about AC services. He even encouraged a Home Depot employee to try to get my phone number, because "If you dont then I will" - guess he missed my husband and my baby - and the employee (Omar) said "What is wrong with you?" Not a pleasant experience, these people need to go. Very pleased with HOME DEPOT staff, whoever is in the black aprons need to LEAVE they are bad for business

This place is either a hit or a huge miss. The electrical guys are always happy to help and give suggestions on items I didnt realize I needed to finish the work. One of the older gentlemen in the department is always super helpful and even grabs from overstock no matter how busy the store is. The flooring department is a totally different story. I needed some shower tile for my new build, they didnt have enough stock so I asked if another store had the material so I could get it in one trip, the employee scoffed at the request and said that the numbers are always wrong and that he wouldnt trust what the computer says. No exactly the best customer service, so I bought the $2,000 worth of tile and mortar at Lowes on George Bush turnpike. I still shop there for my electrical and hardware needs, but I avoid tile and flooring.

Looking for some repair items and hardware as usual, and I noticed that employees just simply walk around with no purpose whatsoever, i purposely stood in the walk area for a good 5 min and saw over 10 employees walk by i made eye contact in order to show i need help but only was helped by 2, these young kids have no purpose here. They are too busyon their phones and no desire to help customers.

Poor customer service by associates and management. We were in the middle of making purchase selections and were told to clear the isle so it could be closed for an order picker. We voiced our concern with a manager and he acted as if he could care less either. Although this is the most convenient home improvement store to us, we will gladly take our business and money elsewhere.

This Home Depot stands out among the rest and I know because I remodel houses and have been to a lot of home improvement stores. I cant say enough good things about the people who work here. Even though they are very busy most times, I have yet to see them get flustered and impatient with their customers. They are always ready to help and serve. My favorite store for years.

When I left one of them hollered across they showroom floor and said have nice day ! I went to lowes, they were glad to help

this is just up the road from me. great place, and i go there often (well a LOT). it is a little bit smaller than the normal home depots, but the service is very good and the selection is just as good as the normal home depots. my only gripe is that they no longer do online price matching. otherwise, it is a second home to me...and will be for some time to come.

Boooo. The only place to buy Ryobi is Home Depot. But they dont sell replacement bulbs for the Ryobi 18v flashlight. It took me half a hour and employees sending me all over the store to find this out. Finally one guy told me that the Rowlett store is a "small" store, and that I would have to drive to Mesquite to get to a Home Depot with a full selection.

This location is a good one for the most part. Most of the staff are friendly, but youll encounter a grouchy staff member every now and then. If you need to ask questions about plumbing, electrical, or any other trade, then make sure you find out when the experienced staff in need will be there, and go EARLY when they start their shift.

The staff is pretty helpful, but I often have a hard time finding anyone per department, meaning I usually have to flag someone down and wait a while before the person working in that department is available. Otherwise, they usually have what I need in stock and renting their trucks is pretty cheap.

Rented a piece of equipment that worked for only a few minutes. Some bearing went out, they said. They didnt have another available, so they just refunded my deposit. It was unfortunate about the equipment, but things happen. Great customer service, though!
