Update: Getting better. Staff is starting to care again. Still this store has a junk yard by the fencing. Previous: This HD is getting worse by the day. People standing around. Nobody greeting customers. Some isles are impassible. And they ran out of faucet guards. How do you do that? No planning whatsoever. Previous: In the past year this HD had really improved. The staff is actually pretty helpful and visible. For the most part this is the cleanest and best organized HD Ive been to. With the exception of the fencing area this is a really well maintained store. If youre doing fencing dont bother with this HD. Their fencing department is horrible. They store all their junk in the fencing dept. The most basic stuff like caps is usually out of stock or so disorganized you cant find anything. Otherwise this is a great HD and the people are really nice. Not sure how they think were supposed to get down the isles though. See photos.

I went to The Homedepot in Rockwall as I was driving back home to Mckinney Tx. I needed a bolt That was missing from a Troy Bilt Lawn mower.I was asked if I needed help by Blake! He was very knowledgeable, professional, and polite. My phone was charging but too dead to take a picture of the bolt I needed. He worked in hardware but did not push me off on another staff member in the mowers. He helped me get picture of thr bolt and an idea on size. And learned HD did not gave the size. I went to HD to get a bolt but did not leave without what it would take to aquire the one I need when I go to Elliottes Hardware the Holy Grayle of Nutts n boltz. Thank you Blake I appreciate your help! Keep up the good work! Great staff! Clean store and organized!

I wanted to give this Home Depot an excellent rating based on my most recent experience. We purchased an assembled grill and rented a truck to transport it to our house. During the trip the grill fell over and was dented in several places. We didnt realize the extent of the damage until after we got it home and returned the truck. I called and spoke to the manager and without hesitation he said they would make it right. That same day they drove out to my house and exchanged the grill. Im so appreciative of the staff being willing to go the extra mile! They were polite, professional, and prompt! They will always have my business! Thanks again!

Im only giving 1 star because I had to in order to post my comment. This is the worst store ever and I mean ever. They do not care about their customers. They will not go out of their way to help you even when they are in the wrong. They cant even have someone come help cut something for you in the store when u wait patiently for over 20 minutes then they have an attitude when you ask whats going on. The best is how they just shrug their shoulders at you like oh well. Never never never again and I will make sure that I let as many people as possible know do not shop at Home Depot!!!!

They are very rude here. Id advise going to a different homedepot, the one in Greenville is not to much further to go for good service. I asked someone for help and they were rude, acting like I was bothering them and looked at me like I was stupid when I told him I needed my wood pieces cut at a certain measurement and told me it was wrong... Even though I measured everything out by my self and knew I was right. Then messed up on cutting all the wrong pieces. They are sexist and rude here. So if yours lady and red help go to a different store.

Update : now its completely self service, no cashiers at all! Terrible... Dont even bother, go to Lowes. This is a terrible home Improvement store, there are never any cashiers open so you have to self check out which is very buggy and hardly ever works the first time or you have to go to customer service, and the people that work there are standing in a group talking ignoring you since theyd rather you go to their terrible self checkout instead of lift one finger. Do yourself a favor and go to Lowes.

Very disappointing!! Waited for help in the lumber department after asking for help loading some 4X8 plywood. After 15 minutes again asked for help, waited a total of 40 minutes with no help, left and went to Lowes to get the plywood. There were two other customers waiting for help with much the same experience as we talked about the poor service at this Home Depot . One of the other customers left with me, tired of waiting for help.

I had to take a tag off the lumber i needed because there was no carts to be found. Then asked for help when i paid for them. Waited and waited there was a call for carts but no one to help me. No carts so i grab 8 2x4x8 pressure treated pine and had to carry it without help. But damn sure as soon as i get to my truck they are after me to see if i need help then and to be sure i paid for it.

Great store to work wiith. I own a condo in Rockwall, TX but live in NH. Have made numerous purchases over the phone, have had my contractor pick the merchandize, gotten my Military Discount (Retired) with abosolutly no problems. Latest purchase was 3 special order slidding patio doors. The people working the different department follow up, call, and keep me up to date with the status.

Always get great service here and unlike Lowes, I leave here feeling like Ive learned something about my current project. I can always be directed easily and if I have questions then the staff is always helpful. Darrell in plumbing/irrigation IS THE MAN and verbally walked me through my entire irrigation system installation and I bought the parts and went home and did it!

I dont have any confidence that what is told in the store is going to be true at the appointment time at home. I wasted time hoping to get a fair honest estimate for a small kitchen redo yet I felt like the guy who came out just did not care. 20 minutes is not enough time!

This store needs to take note of the wylie store does it. This store is always messy with pallets blocking the isles. Have met some rude and lazy people at this store. Not all, but has been more than enough to complain. I love HD but not this store.

Ok..whats not to like about Home Depot..they have everything you need to do things yourself and classes to show you how to do things. Now they have the best prices, but Lowes has higher end items

The worst experience I have ever had at any home depot lots of employees and still no customer service took an hour for a phone sale I would recommend any Home Depot besides this one in Rockwall
