Went in to buy potting soil so that I could plant a few plants I had picked up. The potting soil they sold me was a giant ball of mud. I went to take it back as instructed by the manager and he refused to exchange it for dry potting soil due to the price difference of about five dollars. He then grew frustrated and would only allow a return instead of an exchange. The employees in the store are very nice but be aware of the manger as he has a temper and is not afraid to show it or intimidate. As you can see from the other surveys this store should be avoided. I wish i would have checked this out before I went. ******Buyers beware!******

Terrible customer service. Twice I have been to this Ace Hardware standing in line to check out when an associate came up and told the person standing behind me that they can check them out. Not, "I can help the next in line" or " I can get you over here". No. Both times they told the person standing behind me, who by the way just walked up while I had been standing for several minutes. Terrible customer service. Dont know who the manager is but they need to do more training, or maybe just start training.

This is absolutely the WORST hardware store in Omaha. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Employees are RUDE and rarely will go out of their way to help you. Many items are usually out of stock (today it was roller shades, but it varies). Dont waste your time here, shop somewhere else where your time is valued by the company and employees.

Poor customer service almost every time I have been there. Called and asked if they had any firewood and guy said "nah I dont think so" and hung up on me. Drove by on the way to Walmart and saw plenty sitting out front. Pretty sure it would be hard for the guy to miss it when he walked into work.

Actually, I had just the opposite experience Meghan had. I rented a Rug Doctor one morning and the next day, I misplaced my keys while at a friends house. I called the manager, Ted, and he told me he would extend the time I could return it by 6 hours with no charge. That was customer service!

Mixed experiences. Great price, but the staff is all over the place. Ive been helped by several friendly, knowledgeable people, but Ive also had to put up with really rude, offputting ones. Honestly, I would skip this place

Great selection at this store! However, the best thing about the store is the help you get from the employees----especially the store manager! They are willing to help in every way they can. Ill shop here whenever I can!

Horrible place have nonintelligent workers who are rude and cant even make a key properly told me it was not possible I had a wrong key went to home Depot and where glade to make it for me. Stay away from this store.

Went to get a duplicate key made. Still doesnt work. 0 for 2 and refused to give a refund unless I drove all the way back. 2 dollars out of my pocket and a customer out of theirs.

Really only go here for bolts and hose. They usually always have what i need, and they have a great selection of bolts.
