Stopped in at this location because it was convenient. I was greeted by a young man at the register. I said hello, and then went on about my business, trying to get a hold of some winged nuts and bolts for a curio cabinet. I set foot for the nuts and bolts area and was looking about for close to 10 minutes. Although there were employees(And a manager) nearby, they never offered any assistance. I walked up to the manager, and requested his assistance in finding the bolt style I needed. We walked back over to the area I was originally at and he looked through two drawers, stopped, turned around toward me, and said "Sorry, kid, we dont have it." I am a grown 19 year old male. I do not deserve to be called "kid." Manager was very rude, and acted like he didnt even want to be there. I also needed some PVP pipe cut in a certain length. Needed it in a half-inch diameter. He inquired about the purpose it would be used for. Id stated that there was no particular use, I just needed the pipe. He was not able to assist me with this because he literally walked away, before the conversation was even over. This "kid" will not be shopping in this store, anymore. Theres a reason why my family has always said to use Roach Hardware. This must be the reason.

Went to the sw 29th store. Spent more time at the check out than shopping. First it was merchandise that wasnt marked. So we had to wait for someone to check price. This happens all the time. Then I decided to pay with the gift card my kids got me for Christmas. They said it wasnt active. So either theyre wrong or my kids paid for a piece of crap. Then a manager finally shows up and tells the check out guru she needs to run it as a credit card. I just used my own card. I wont be back. Not the fault of the teller. Management isnt providing her the education to do her job.

If youre looking for liquid hide glue, come here first. After visiting 4 other, larger, stores in my search for liquid hide glue, I finally found it here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the store was laid out in an easy to understand way that helped me find what I was looking for quickly, and they had very reasonable prices. Ill make sure to stop here first the next time Im looking for something lawn or home related.

It IS convenient. Employees are nice. They carry Stihl which is nice. Unfortunately it usually cost more than big box. I prefer to shop here to support local, but I have my limits and go to Lowes if I have a lot to get because the price differences add up quick on the big purchases.
