7-14-17 @ HD in Balch Springs, TX. Kelvin, an associate, was pleasant to talk to however he was easily side tracked which caused our transaction to take longer than it should. I was buying a 42" Cub Cadet riding lawn mower. After the sale, I had to get my truck and move it to the loading zone where Kelvin said he would meet me with loading ramps and to assist in loading the mower into my truck bed. Parked my vehicle in an area in the Garden Center that was labeled (with sign) Loading Zone. Since Kelvin hadnt shown up yet, I pushed the mower from the back of the Garden Center up to the loading zone and waited on the ramps to arrive. Kelvin, another associate, and a man named Al (who would later be identified as a manager) showed up in the Garden Center with the ramps. Kelvin verified the sale by checking my receipt and left once again to retrieve the key and supporting documents for the mower. Instead of assisting me quickly in getting the mower loaded, Al started telling me to move my vehicle because I was parked in a fire zone and I was impacting everyones ability to leave in case a fire got started. I looked at him and told him that it was an approved loading zone. He told me to move my vehicle and they would get the mower loaded shortly. Mind you, my truck was already running with my mother sitting inside due to the heat, so I climbed into my truck and rolled down my window and called to Al to look at the sign that said Loading Zone. He got irritated and yelled at me to move my vehicle. So I did, back into the parking lot and went inside to the customer service desk in order to talk to a manager and to void the sale. The service desk called for the store manager (named Will) twice. He never showed up. While waiting for a manager to show up, a fight between two other patrons broke out near the service desk. Jeannie, an Assistant Manager, arrived and asked if she could help. She was very pleasant and listened to everything that happened and provided a refund for the mower. I would recommend not shopping here until management makes improvements in leadership and customer service.

I cannot say home depot is bad but things do not get fixed fast enough. I bought a fridge from them not to long ago, it was completely wrong when it arrived at my home. I denied deliver and headed up to the actual location to have my order fixed. They did not want to offer me the same deal i originally got instead i was being charged 2,000 more to have the correct one shipped out to me. We decided to go with something different due to them not wanting to honor the original prize. The managers did not help at all and we only offered 20% off a different order. I really liked the original fridge i had picked out but they did not want to match the prize to the original order. Things did not get fixed for me as the second order came in, it was messed up AGAIN. Maria was very nice helping us out by letting us borrow a lender fridge while we waited for the second fridge to come in. This was really the only good thing.

This Home Depot is ok. Ive purchased things from them before, but as always its like pulling teeth to find people to help you. I have never purchased anything to have installed however. Anyway, I purchased a toilet and paid to have it installed. I never heard from them so I decided to call them. Well they told me it would be a week later before they could come out. They also said they dont give an open window time, but they would call 30 minutes before they arrive..I work and so happen I could not take that call at that minute. I called them within less than 7 minutes and they told me that I would have to reschedule because I missed the call..IT WAS LESS THAN 7 minutes. Anyway, I could go on and on with fighting with them, I just returned the merchandise and got my money back. Long story short, from this experience the installation part of the Home Depot service sucks.

I took two trips to this location to get mulch. Both times there were white trucks with yard crews of non-english speakers just parked in front of the garden center in the loading zone. There were so many that they were parked two vehicles deep. I needed to load 20 bags that I had already paid for. After waiting for abut 30 minutes for the trucks to move a spot opened up. I moved in with my trailer and loaded. As soon as I finished loading another white truck blocked me in and I couldnt get out. They also werent loading anything. They were just sitting in there. I tried to find a manager to address the issue but there was none to be found. I confronted the guy in the vehicle that blocked me in and he just pretended that he didnt understand me. This is the worst Home Depot I have ever been to.

Horrible customer service!!!! I had a tub delivered from this store yesterday and it has a HUGE crack. When I called the store I was hung up on 3x and transferred to the wrong person before that 2x!!!! Yall need to get it together!!!! When I asked to speak with a manager I was told my delivery came out of the Mesquite location, which I knew was incorrect, and confirmed when I called the Mesquite location!!!! I had to have a manager out of the Mesquite location contact a manager from the Balch Springs location for me just to get this issue resolved. Absolutely unacceptable!!!!

Mr. Willis Mgr. Is very professional! Had an issue with associates not offering assistance to what look like a 60-70 yr. old man with his plywood. Lodged a concern., Mr. Willis offered to help him and was very apologetic. Also mentioned how someone didnt follow protocol and would look into it. Very please on how Mr. Willis handled me and the issue at hand. 5 ***** Gina Gonzales

Your seasonal help is making you look bad home depot. Just saw two cashiers more interested in their conversation then checking out people one was facing a totally different direction with money in her hand while the other one I was waiting on me manager tried to break it up by sitting in between them on a vacant register but was unsuccessful of stopping there unprofessionalism

Wtf! If a item says that there a huge quantity online then when you go in person it doesnt hurt to double check thru the system and the unopened boxes that are above the products but instead all i got is "nope dont have it" like seriously! Full of Lazy employees here at this home depot.

This place the security out side of parking. Lot sucks some many people. Buy at this place but security my personal i never see security .theaft are waiting to leave from your truck so they can still its not the only time happen it happen people i know ......
