Ive always had a good experience coming here. Ill admit that their prices are on the high side but not unreasonable. Even their trade in values are reasonable when you bring the desirable titles. You could probably do better on prices for both on eBay but thats a virtual world. Being able to go to a genuine store where you can just browse for that hard to find game, the one that youve lost, or something new you never knew you needed to have is just awesome. Everyone here obviously loves their job and if you come in with a passion for video games youll be on a first name basis with the staff before you know it. They even offer a short guarantee that it works so test it when you get home. Ive had to return one once and they were very helpful. Pretty good service for 20 year old used equipment. Better than any craigslist seller. As long as youre not looking to buy or sell the newest generation this is THE video game store to go to.

Great local video game store chain where you can find a lot of hidden gems! So why the 2-star rating? - I have traded in games/gaming items at multiple locations at Game Over, and this one in particular provided the worst experience. I brought in a massive tub of items, games, controllers, a handheld system, all in good condition (Im a video game nut) and was offered less than $5 for it total. The handheld system alone was sitting for sale just a few feet away used for $50. If I hadnt just spent a half hour handing them each individual item or the items were still close to the tub (The employee had put them various locations behind the counter) - I would have just taken my stuff back and walked out, but I didnt have much extra time to spend there that day.

I been going to Game Over Videogames for about a year now and I have enjoyed ever trip there. They have the best customer service you can ask. Some of the titles they offer are a little over priced, but other than that your average games are fairly priced. The trade-in value you get is great considering the low price of the things you can get in return. Also there is a 14 day return policy for defective items (which is a rare case here). I think Gameover is the best place around to get videogames, they even sell some PS4 or Xbox One games!

I went in to buy Halo 3 for something like the 3rd time(first Amazon, second gamestop). The employee was understanding and he seemed like someone I could relate to. It might be because I was the only one in the store but he showed what seemed like genuine empathy when hearing my sob story. He got me another copy and informed me of the warranty I have with the purchase of halo. Coincidentally, this copy of Halo was the last copy Ive had to buy, not that Game Over had anything to do with that.

Our family has been a customer of Game Over Videogames for several years now. We recently had a problem with our Xbox 360 with the HDMI video port, and the folks at Game Over were great in helping us resolve the problem over the course of 3 visits, and we ended up resolving the problem with a component video cable rather than buying a used Xbox 360 to continue gaming. Very helpful!

Ive been shopping at Gameover games for quite a few years now, and I have to say that I have really enjoyed my experience. Yes, the prices can be a little higher than other stores at times, but that is because they are a business that has bills and (great) employees to pay.

it was okay, they sell alot of cool stuff but i tried trading in a complete rock band set with guitar drums mic everything and the game and they offered me 11$ for it i prefer Apollo Games they have great service great sells and great trade in value.

Great place! Theyve got promos running almost all the time. Saturdays are the day to go for sure, they have tournaments and special sales. Staff is very knowledgeable and always happy to talk shop and nerd out with you. 5 stars. Keep it up!

Over all the staff was helpful but they do give significant less for trade in than other stores that includes game stop, which I though was impossible, and there prices are very high for there retro games.

I love this place because i bought n64 cables and they worked perfectly new (it was used) tho but it was like new and i also bought the wwf warzone game and the namcomusem game it was just awesome

They wont return your money. They wont test the games before selling it to you. And the store has the games way over priced for a no return policy.

Nice people, but dont let them fix or look into your gaming systems. Just stick to games and make sure theyre tested before leaving.
