First off their selection of games is great, really the only good thing about the store. I went to purchase a game for my N64, Super Mario 64, and it did not work properly. The game would read but would not hold a save if you turned the system off. So I went back and exchanged it for another, which would also not save. So I returned to exchange that game, and they tried to sell me the same broken copy of Super Mario 64! I know that when I returned it and explained how it was broken they must have put it back on the shelf because it was the only copy that they had in the store when I bought it. How likely is it that they would get another in less than 24 hours? I had them test it first and sure enough, it was not holding saves when you turned off the console and then back on to play again. Of course they refuse to give you your money back; I believe this is because they know that at least half of they stuff they sell is defective in some way. So even after causing a scene I still was left with store credit only. Well you know what I did? I used it to buy their blu-ray copy of The Amazing Spiderman and as soon as they sold it to me I turned around and said how much cash will you give me for trading this in? So I wound up with a loss, but I refuse to shop there now for the most part. I just got a PS3 (not from them I know better than to buy a console there) and I will occasionally go there for games as sometimes they are cheaper than GameStop, but if Im buying a game I make them pull out every copy they have so I can inspect them and get the best one, none of this them trying to sell me one thats been scratched and fingered all to hell.

Let me start off by saying DONT shop here. We started off buying 2 games. One didnt work and the other was my bad... thought it was something diffrent. Well they have a policy you can exchange any game with in 24 hrs. So we went back the next morning around 11:00 am. Well the DS selection sucked so we exchanged the non working xbox game and got another one to replace the DS game. Well the guy behind the counter cant figure out how to do exchanges so he keeps calling the mangaer who is suppose to be there, but keeps saying he will be back in 15 min. 2 hours later the manager still isnt there. By now I am really getting hot under the coller but am trying my best to remain calm. Finally the manager calls and tells the guy to exchange the games and let us pick another free.... Cool right... not! Well we get home and 2 of the 3 dont work! All the games are scratched or they buffed them too much and are unreadable. So today my husband went in again and to talk to a manager and say hey just give my my money back. The manager says he is not authorized to do that, and offers the exchanges and throw in another free one. So my husband says he is leary about that cause of how many times we have been there. He says well the district manager is located in Jamaca and they have a manager who is above her coming in a couple of days because they are having problems cause of the fact all their stuff is crap (his words not mine) Did I mention the day we were waiting for the manager 5 other people were waiting too. I am telling you dont waste your time here... just go to game stop and save your self some trouple.

This place has a nice selection of games from almost every console and handheld. The staff is crummy because there can be a line a people to the corner of the store, two clerks, and one of them will be throwing a fit because they have to do their job and will refuse to grab the other register to get the long line moving. I have had issues with the consoles not working correctly, they honestly must not test them when people trade them in since I see that others have had this problem before. Remember that if you get an Xbox that has been banned, they will have no clue, and you wont be able to get online with it. Biggest complaint though has to be that some of the games that they have in the store are rare finds until they put their hands on them and place an adhesive price sticker on the nameplate sticker of the game thereby ruining the value of the game. I bought NFL Blitz for the N64 in the original box and spent all night trying to get the adhesive sticker off of the box because the dumb-F@(k employees dont know what the heck they are doing. They have had a now-hiring sign in the window since I moved back in the area in April of 12. There has been no new staff from what Ive seen. This is a sign that the people there are only still there because they know they cant get job anywhere else, EVER! If you do decide to go there, do inquire as to why an employee would put a sticker on the game incorrectly, or file the letter Z before the letter W.

Me and my boyfriend came here yesterday and we went and looked for videos we seen a sign that stated stating that 20 DVDs for 20 dollars if they are 4.95 so we picked 20 up and went to check out we waited in line for a good 15 minutes and not just that they allowed someone to cut in front of us without telling him hey sir youre not next and then so we waited another three minutes then he finally took us the guy with the cowboy hat that works there and we told him that were doing the deal of the 20 DVDs for $20 and then he told us thats not this week that was a few weeks ago and we said that there was a sign up and thats false advertisement then he asked where was the sign and he got very angry and he walked over to the side where the sign was and I pointed over to the sign he ripped it off of the rack with DVDs and showed his other coworker crumbled it up and threw it away and I told him well thats false advertisement he refused to sell it to us for the advertisement and he caught a nasty additude and told us we can buy the DVDs all apart still we got so upset with how he kept handling things we refused to buy anything after the bad treatment

Good if you need a old game to add to your collection But strictly if your collection is of cases with hard -to-peel-off stickers and unreadable disks and cartridges. Dont get stuck in the Loop of trading in broken games with their policies of "credit only returns", just a trick to get you to come in and get another game so they can sell that copy to the next guy. At times this store gets hectic, Lines out the doors and employees that are really shy and have a hard time handling the rush. I have a hard time at this store, Which sucks because I value older games. Also, A lot of the past-gen games are overpriced here. Ive seen new copies at walmart for cheaper than the used copies here on xbox 360 titles such as fallout new vegas collectors edition, skyrim, gta v, forza horizon 2, the list goes on and on.
