A very disappointing experience. The selection is great - a lot more than chairs - and the store is bright and nicely decorated. The sales staff welcomes you with a smile and lets you browse without any hassle or pressure. Thats the good news. We purchased a Royal Havana Sofa and Ottoman. We asked specific questions about the material color - we were told it would be tan with dark brown trim. That is not how it arrived. We were told we were getting six pillows - like the ones outside in the day bed display - that is not what we got! We ordered two Havana brushed aluminum drink trays - they were not delivered with our furniture! We called to speak to a manager and the manager would not get on the phone with us. We talked to Tony, who was the salesman who we had originally worked with. He apologized about the pillows and informed me that the pillows did not come with the brown piping he told us it would come with. He made a mistake. He apologized about the pillows being different than what he promised we would receive. His solution was to go outside and wrap up the pillows that had been on display and exchange those pillows for what was delivered. He wanted us to take floor samples instead of getting us new pillows! "They are only a few weeks old", he told us. I told him I wanted to speak to a manager. He got back on the phone and told me the manager said I should keep the pillows that had been delivered with the sofa and that he (Tony) would come by with the floor sample cushions - I could keep both sets of pillows. This was not the best solution - nor was it appraise. I did not pay for a floor sample. I paid for a new sofa, cushions and pillows. That is not what I received. They are still looking for the Havana Drink Trays! they are not at the warehouse. They appear to be at another store location. Tony will be picking them up tomorrow and delivering them to our house. We expected to receive what was described and promised to us and what we paid for. That did not happen and the manager who refused to talk to me did not provide the type of customer service that wins awards or recognition as being the best of anything. In fact, this was the worst type of experience you could ever expect to have. Would I recommend Chair King - honestly the selection is the best in town. But beware of the customer service and follow up to issues. They just dont seem to get it!

They do not stand behind their product or service. Delivered over 10k in outdoor furniture. I found the Items stacked in my garage, still in the box and they took off. When I opened the boxes "surprise"; scratches on the furniture, pillows in kitchen garbage bags - a hot mess. Salesman said that it is all covered under their warranty, 4 months later and they are still missing in action. I have since bought more outdoor furniture and here is what I learned: Take 50% off at Chair King and you are still paying 20% too much. For example: my purchase of 50% off furniture at Chair King was $10,000, This exact same furniture could have been purchased for $8,000 (shipping and tax included) via casual furniture world in North Carolina. Service and integrity have value, but Chair King has exhibited neither for their price premium.
