My horrible experience here is very similar to Farhads. Walked in to the store, and it was like a ghost town, no greetings or anyone in site but thats ok, they could be busy. Unfortunately, that was not the case though. I walked in with my wife and in-laws with my mind set to buy tonight a leather sectional. I asked about the special and told there is nothing special except the already "low prices" (first negative sign). I had shopped at Planos store on Monday and was told there was an extension to the free power recliner feature. When i asked about this, the saleman showed poor customer service and said "NO". I said the store in Plano confirmed then he said he would ask the Manager. when he came back, he tried to blakmail me, he said that the manager wants you to know that she can honor that special if you buy the "optional" cleaning/maintenance package, so basically $100 off but $150 more for the maintenance package. I told him i am not interested and i am already aware of it from when the Plano guys told me about it. he was very rude saying, you should learn about it first before rejecting it. very rude and started jabbering for 10 minutes even though we were in a hurry. i let him finish and told him i dont need it i wanted to leave at that time, but my wife really liked a set, so i figured what the heck, rude people but we have a special occasion coming up and my wife really likes the set. i told the guy i would take the set but i really didnt appreciate the way you presented the "tradeoff" or "blackmail" idea. then he went to ask the manager again. when he came back, he didnt even bother to tell me what she said and i had to ask only to get the answer that she said "NO". for the second time, i wanted to walk away but i focused on my wifes admiration of the set, told the guy to get the set ordered, which is an expensive set (almost $5000). he disappeared for more than 15 minutes, even though we are in a hurry. I literally was walking in the store, which was completely empty by the way, to find him as i was debating myself to just leave. Found him and his female manager. this is where the disaster happened, the manager was talking very lowly to me, started pitching the warranty/maintenance that i already refused twice. told him to save some time because i am not interested, disrespectfully, she continued not caring about my wish not to purchase the service. Finally, i was fed up with this and told her i dont want to give you my business as you dont respect customers. she raised her voice and tried to cut me off. at that point, i just walked away. This store, and probably Rooms to go in general lost my business for ever. Very bad experience, pushy manager and sales, gangsters attitude, unprofessional. never back.

I encountered several problems at this store. The first is that we told the sales associate that we wanted a king size bed, repeatedly. Every time we looked at a bed room set, we asked if it came in a king and the associate would answer yes or no. But then, when we decided what we wanted it wasnt in stock for another few months. So we picked something else, paid for it all up front, scheduled the delivery and left. Later that night, around 7:30, I get a call from the associate asking if we wanted a queen or a king. I told him we had wanted a king, like we had said, several times. He says he accidentally ordered a queen, so I would need to pay the difference for a king. I was a little upset because I thought we had ordered the king and had already paid $2,000 for the set. He said I could go online to pay the two hundred dollar difference. The next day, while Im working, I get a call from Rooms To Go telling me that if I dont pay the $200 in the next three hours, they would be unable to deliver my bedroom set on the promised date and it could be months before they will have it again. She described it as an upgrade fee, even though I told her I never upgraded, we had initially ordered a king but the associate put the order in wrong. She said a store manager would call be within 24 hours, but that she had no control over the payment and it needed to be done asap, and then to call her when I had paid. I told her no I would not call, none of this was my fault and I didnt think I should have to follow up because they made a mistake, but that I would go ahead and pay the money even though I thought they were being extremely pushy over $200. Spoiler alert: The sales manager never called. The furniture arrived damaged, and I was told theyd have to come out and replace the foot board. They left mud all over my bedroom, left the mattress pushed up again the wall, and all the tape and padding left on the dresser. They told me they would deliver the new foot board today, and I get a call saying they will be at my place in like fifteen minutes. Hardly any notice. Thank goodness I was able to be home at that time since there wasnt much warning. All in all, I wouldnt recommend this store to anyone. We certainly wont be shopping here again. Nothing is in stock, and if it is in stock, its apparently broken. You think theyd check that before they came out, but I guess theyd rather spend the extra time and gas on an additional trip. Also, they left mud in my room the second time around as well.

Id been a repeat customer of Rooms To Go, but after my experience from hell at the Frisco location, I will never do business with Rooms To Go again. I knew exactly what I wanted before I went to the store, but the representative was more concerned with keeping me there for hours and trying to hook me up with his Frat brother than resolve my needs in a timely manner. I clearly stated that I didnt want a mattress protector because I already have one, and he tried to slip one into my order, thinking I wouldnt notice, which shows a total lack of character, considering Id just purchased a whole bedroom and mattress set. The night of my delivery, I didnt sleep a wink because the mattress Id bought which I thought was plush, turned out to be really hard; So I called my representative the next day, and he suggested that I sleep on it for a month to break it in, like not sleeping for month is an option for a working professional. After 5 days of no sleep, I went up to the store to exchange my mattress, my representative went to the back to talk to the manager; After a while, he came back to tell me that they didnt have my new mattress pick in stock, and bold face lied to me that the policy was that since I hadnt purchased a mattress cover from them, I couldnt return the mattress, so I left. I called and spoke to customer service, who immediately approved the mattress re-selection and asked me to go back and have the store do the exchange; But after the lack of professionalism and blatant lying displayed at the Frisco store, I was completely turned off and didnt want to do any business with them. Though I never did the reselection with the Frisco store, they still charged my credit card for it. I ended up calling the card company to dispute the charge. After weeks of no sleep, I eventually had the mattress reselection taken care of by the Plano store, where I was shown a lot more professionalism. Im glad my nightmare month from hell is over. I will not do business with Rooms To Go ever again, and dont advise anyone I know to either.
