I had two rechargeable batteries that I brought to Batteries Plus to be rebuilt for a total of $63. Two days later, I received a phone call saying my batteries were ready. When I got the batteries home, I tried one in my drill. It did not work. When I attempted to charge the battery, the charger began to smoke. I called BP and was told to bring the batteries back in so they could look at them. The next day they called and told me to bring in the drill and charger so they can see if the batteries were now working. Two days later BP calls me to say said my battery packs were ready. When I got there, they told me the drill and charger were actually fried and that they could not refund the cost I paid for the service work on the battery packs but they could give me a store credit. I did not want a store credit, so the BP representative comes up with the idea to pay half the cost of a new drill, telling me to buy a new drill and bring BP the receipt. This seemed to be a reasonable resolution so I left the store, went to the Sears at the mall a few blocks up the road and returned to BP with the new drill and receipt for $120. The BP rep tells me he will give me $50 if I come back on pay day, which would be the following week on Thursday. The more I think about this, the worse it sounds, so I call the corporate customer service line and they call the store. The store calls me back and asks me to make a 7th trip to their store. The representative said when they did the repair the first time, they crossed the posts on the battery packs, but that they could not say that is what broke the drill because they dont know if it was fried before I brought the batteries to them. I explain to them that I am not trying to get rich or something for nothing. I simply wanted a $63 refund for the bad work done and *my* drill and charger back. They tell me they have shipped my drill off to their research center and it will not be returned to me because it was fried and they offer me $42 as a refund. I tried to save a few bucks by having 2 batteries rebuilt instead of buying a brand new one for $60. It is ironic that I have now paid twice the cost of a replacement battery and feel like I have been taken advantage of as a consumer by Batteries Plus.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is a joke. And the customer service is terrible. The tone and disrespectful attitude delevered is not one i will tolerate. They do not stand by their word in warranty. You are better to go to Walmart and do their 5 year plan. We bought a nice battery after a few months it dies. The place said their policy is if it has no amp or any build up on the battery that it voids the warranty. So dont believe them. Some of the managers /employees at this location are not educated or skilled enough to work with the public. I understand policy however his I do not appreciate being talked to as a thief or accused of messing up my own battery. They actually accused indirectly that I would mess up the battery to get a new one. Some may do that but because some do dont mean everyone will. 2nd negative experience with this place. We own 6 vehicles plus 3 company vehicles and started using them through a refereal. Not any more. This will sure enough be their loss. months

I purchased an Extreme battery for my motorcycle on-line and got a notification later that it was ready for pickup at the store. When I got to the store they informed me it needed to be filled with acid and charged. They just happened to be busy but said they would get to it as soon as possible. After the crowed cleared out I approached the desk and asked them if the acid was in it yet. They said no because the "acid machine" was broken and the manager left early. They were obviously understaffed too. To make matters worse, I realized that the battery I had purchased was the same inferior battery I bought 20 months earlier from them. Please be aware that the name Extreme on the battery is very misleading. It is the most inferior battery I have ever used.

The staff did everything they could to help me . but I had a item that could not the open in order to replace the battery period but they were kind enough to suggest that I came back tomorrow for assistance because they knew of the two employees on that shift and could help me and they did not want to damage my property. I really do appreciate that I was trying to get a battery for my key to my car which it was a difficult thing to open Mercedes-Benz key and I do appreciate them not going any further because they werent able to do with me to be done to put it in Period so I appreciate the honesty and I I appreciate the courtesy.

I walked in to pick up a web order. There was too much confusion regarding my order. The employee assisting me, could not find the order. He said that I may have placed the order through another store. I showed him the email confirming that I was at the correct location. He then continued to look for the order. He was able to locate the order after several minutes of looking for it. This process has been easier at other locations. Not a bad experience, but should have been better based of previous web orders at another location.

I brought my daughters shattered iPhone to Batteries Plus Bulbs. It was my first time in the store and the experience exceeded my expectations. Daniel was courteous and the communication was excellent. I was notified of an issue with a dented frame but they had a solution to the issue. The repair was prompt and for less than other competitors quotes. I also noticed the store is clean and they have an extensive selection of batteries, bulbs, and much more. I will be a repeat customer.

I have took my cell phone twice this week to get one problem fixed and they have caused it to have a new broken problem each time, they wont give me my money back, I am taking it in again today for the 3rd time ,it has costs 120. Dollars just to have them first break the speaker and after picking it up last night it wont make or receive calls. It worked perfect when I took it in except for the charger port.

Terrible! Your store lost a $400 + order today. Came in today to repeat a previous order for my business today and the guy who was helping me came across as do not bother me. I will let it be known to the fleet not to purchase from you. That fleet being FedEx.

Nice guys but they were not interested in changing the battery on my car, which they advertise they will change it for free, so I had to go home and change it myself on just a simple Chevrolet Impala. Had to make another trip to the store to return the core.
