I went to Rooms furniture to buy a memory foam mattress back in January 2013. The sales person or store manager by name Ben was very nice to me and my family until we paid him $2045.00 to get scammed by buying a trash for that amount. Somehow, he was able to convince me about the mattress and the price but he was not able to convince my wife. I went on his face value as he said he was in this business for more than 30 years and he knows what he is selling. After we paid the money he gave us an invoice which says (NO REFUND, NO RETURNS, NO CANCELLATION) Red Flag!!!!! my wife pointed out that this doesnt look genuine if someone is so confident about his product than why will they have this policy. I immediately turned back to Ben and said why do you have this policy then he said that this is just the store policy, believe me this is a very good mattress and we sell a lot of them every day. When my wife asked him to provide us the warranty proof he said you can come and see me and I will take care of you. Since the day we received this mattress we were not able to sleep well and we called Ben and said this is really very uncomfortable and we are not able to sleep after paying so much money. He said I am really surprised and said you need to get use to memory foam it will take a few days before you get use to it. However, he exchanged it with another refurbished mattress which looked like a new one just to calm me down since it was only the 3rd day from the purchase date. Now, I have severe neck strain and I have to go for regular physical therapy and pay $125.00 each visit out of my pocket since I had no health insurance. I went back to Ben who promised me he will take care if there is any problem started acting weird. I was asking him to provide me the manufacturer warranty so that I can contact them and explain about this situation. He refused to give me that and keeps telling me we are just retailers and we never had this problem before. Now I know that you are a retailer and you only care for yourself and not your customers satisfaction thats why you have a one sided policy without good customer service. This store only look for more profits in their pocket than keeping excellent quality staff with less profit margins to keep their customers happy, they provide zero customer service once you pay them. Please please be aware before you pay any money to them as they will do whatever they want to keep your money without your satisfaction. And also, I am pretty sure that there might be many more unhappy customer like me who were scammed by this business. They only know how to get the money out of customers pocket they do not know what customer service means. I felt obligated to upload this review online because I want to save my fellow citizens hard earned money from this scam furniture store. Think about this before you buy anything from this store: If you buy any furniture from Ikea, Mattress Warehouse, Mattress Discounters or any other reputed furniture store, they will make sure there customers are happy and they visit them again and again and refer them to their family and friends. ROOMS FURNITURE policies are against standard customer service, they only know how to scam you and once they succeed they dont care about you. Be-aware before you get scammed by them. Thanks

My experience here was a good one. The associate that assisted me in the store was pleasant and friendly. Although I did not find what I was looking for in their showroom, I was given a business card with their website that had access to other furniture. I found the perfect dining set and I ordered it and it was the lowest price I could find online. I was able to have it delivered to the store for free instead of paying for shipping. My order came in very quick. Only 3 days. The guys at the store even loaded it into my car. Good service! :)

Staff was very supportive and helpful. Delivery was cheap and seamless. Men arrived, built furniture, and put it exactly where I wanted it. Furniture was all purchased at a great price, and I would recommend this store to anybody looking for furniture for a new home. Reliable inexpensive furniture, with a great support team. Received several phone call updates about my furniture, and when one of the pieces was delayed, there was no extra cost to me for a second round of delivery. Great store, great ownership.

I came looking for a bed as I found one that I liked I payed and he made me sign a paper of no refunds no wonder this bed didnt even last me 4 months I payed 500$. As I received the bed just when I seen it was made in China I knew Ive made a mistake on buying it. The wood that holds the bed was the cheapest I cant believe how cheaply made products do they sell. Be aware future customers this place sells cheap stuff that are not good or will last. Waste of money. I dont know how do they have such good reviews.

BEWARE. Little to no customer service, hysteric manager and poor quality items. We have purchased an item that clearly does not match description. They refused to do anything about it rather than just give a phone number of the manufacturer. On purchase, they will make you sign no return agreement and then you are on your own. I strongly recommend to choose another outlet out of hundreds available.

Very Diverse! I like my furniture! Cheap delivery :P It just got my furniture delivered to me! I got approved for GE financing ( I moved from North Carolina) I promised the owner to leave a commet, so here it is! They work with you, I actually went for the no-credit check but they told me to try for the credit one, and what do you know, I but almost $2700 from them. :D Thank you Ben!

Wow I wouldnt go to a place like this where the owner replies back to all the bad reviews in a non professional way. That just tells you what type of service they provide. Thanks for the heads up guys. Just lost a potential customer with your arrogance. And yes I purchased 2000 worth of merchandise 3 years ago. And some items were good quality and some were not.

Tired of walking into a furniture store and it feeling like a used car lot? This is your place... friendly, helpful staff without being overbearing. Fair, bottom line prices -- no need to haggle or negotiate. My wife and I bought a dresser from them with no fuss -- they even loaded it up for us even though we opted to transport it ourselves. The manager/owner is a very rude man and an imbecile who has no sense of how to talk to customers. He yells at customers who try to prove him wrong. He delivered a different furniture than what we had ordered. He definitely pulled a fast one and knows about it.

Went to this store today and bought my living rooms furniture and dinner took it on credit. Excellent service, prices are good and quality of the furniture is better than alot of other stores. I definitely recomend Rooms Furniture in Houston Tx.
