We have visited and bought from this store on numerous occasions. We are often in Hong Kong mall for grocery shopping or lunch and my 2 year old loves going in here every time we walk by it. Today, when we entered, a man behind the counter, possibly the owner, was watching our every move and telling me and my son, "Please watch him... dont let him touch that... it doesnt work!" It was very rude and for a toy store, it was not kid friendly at all. I grab my son and left immediately and will never be back. And what he says is true, the toys really doesnt work, because everything that we bought there in the past usually breaks apart in a few days anyways.

First, no drinks or food in store which is understandable but there are boba drink stores all around Hong Kong Mall. However, he does not want kids to touch his toys. He somehow thinks his toy store is a chandelier store. My kid accidently knocked down a stuff animal (There were already toys on the ground because the place was unorganized). I picked up the item and put it back. He came to me and complained even though I was watching my child. He wanted to kick me out. So watch what you do or he will kick you out. Or better yet, go to many other toy stores in Chinatown.

I have no idea what these other reviews are talking about. The checkout person was a girl, and she was very nice! :) They sell cute Hello Kitty backpacks, journals, pencils, stationary. They sell TONS of kawaii and Sanrio plush toys! They also sell Pokemon backpacks and toys. Also sell stickers: Winnie the pooh, hello kitty, disney. Nothing to hate on this store. SUPER CUTE STOREE. Also, they sell adorable keychains and phone chains.

This is one of the weirdest places in Houston. It feels like Im back in New York City China town buying toys. Its a small place packed with toys and gifts. Prices are sometimes way to high. And then other times a great deal. It really is hit or miss. The staff does keep a close eye on you (as if you were going to steal something). I felt pretty unconformable the last time I went.

DONT READ ALL THE OLD COMMENTS!! Because they have new owners now and they r so sweet as heaven. They have a lot of cute plushies, squishies, cards,toys and more!! Its pretty amazing over there. GO TO Yelp app. And search the place Ill be post a picture of the NEW place and video

I went into the store and this lady was rushing my sister and friend to find something we liked and leave because she had to leave to her lunch break. She kept telling us to hurry up and if we were going to get anything constantly. Horrible customer service and unfriendly.

My friend was buying something or exchanging money and the man was like you only gave me a dollar and my friend did give him 2 dollars then they started to agrue and i was just watching then he got his money back and nothing else.

Old comments are about the old owners.Currently the store is friendly and welcoming.The owners are kind to anyone who walks in and just ask if you need help.Its a wonderful plushie and music store.I love it❤

i love that it has squishies, and kawaii gifts but there is a Viet lady who so rude she has an attitude, shes not a happy seller and that just disgusts me im a customer and i didnt get my satisfaction!

it was amazing and the lady was so nice when i wanted squishies i just asked and she let me squish them.the prices were really good and we bought 4 things.
