Dr. Shawn Muldoons office is one of a kind. I chose this place because it was in my network, in my neighborhood, and when I considered another eye center to make an appointment at, they werent helpful (actually rude) when I couldnt provide the name for my vision plan. Not the case with Briargrove Eye Center. They worked with me to figure it out (FYI my United HealthCare Vision plan is called United HealthCare) and when I went to my appointment, Mary Lou took care of me every step of the way up to and after when I saw the doc himself. Dr. Muldoon (Shawn as he introduces himself) is incredibly professional, and down-to-earth at the same time. He spares nothing to help you with your eye health, and help you understand what many of us can struggle with when it comes to our vision. Roberto took great care of handling my prescription glasses when they came in. Although I didnt get a chance to personally deal with the rest of the staff, when I was in the waiting room I quickly gathered that they seemed to handle their job with respect and ease. I understand everyone and their expectations are different, but I can confidently say it will be hard to be disappointed here, and you are putting your eyes and vision health in fantastic care!

Dr. Muldoon and his staff are just awesome. From the ease in making an appointment (same week even!), to the wait time (barely any) to the absolute best eye exam I have ever received...the list goes on! Dr. Muldoon took extra care to screen me for glaucoma (family history of it), and explained everything he was doing to insure I was comfortable and checked-out on everything. I have a feeling he does that with all his patients. I appreciate his easy-going, friendly, but always professional manner, and the number of options he gave me in taking care of my eyes. I will be back, absolutely. If youre looking for an eye doctor who obviously cares about his patients, this is the one for you. Cant say enough good things about he and his staff!

I have worn contacts and glasses all of my adult life. My father took me to see Dr. Muldoon when he was practicing out at the University of Houston and I will never see another eye doctor. I trust him with my eyes 100%. His people are curtious, his office is clean and well run, and most of all Dr. Muldoon is an excellent doctor and takes excellent care of my eyes. I live on the Northwest side of town and work by Hobby Airport so this location is not exactly convenient for me but I dont care I drive out of my way because I feel that strongly about the quality of care I receive here. I highly reccomend this place and this doctor. I cant say enough good things!

Dr. Muldoon is hands down the BEST eye doctor I have ever had !! He is so kind, very fast, and knowledgeable about everything eye ! I had a scratch on my eye and he went out of his way to help me and even came in on his day off to make sure I was ok. I have been going to Briargrove Eye for 4 years now, and have brought my two young sons as well. The staff is awesome, and always so pleasant. I just cant say enough good things about Dr. Muldoon. Your eyes will thank you for going to see him !

Prescription glasses are new to me as I have gone my entire life (age 66) without them. For 10 years I have only used readers from WalMart. Dr. Muldoon is so very professional and my entire experience with my first RX glasses was not only excellent, but less expensive than my wife paid for similar glasses at another place. Her service was also terrible compared to mine. I am glad I chose Dr. Muldoon and Briargrove Eye Center.

The staff were so helpful, with everything from scheduling my appointment, to helping me pick out eyeglasses, and more. Dr. Muldoon was incredibly knowledgeable, and explained things (in a non-doctor way) so I could understand them. He took extra steps to ensure that my eyes were healthy, and he was extremely friendly. I will definitely be going back.

Dr Muldoon is awesome!! He is very accurate and friendly and really explains everything to you in full detail.... He doesnt use "doctor terms" when speaking to you... I have referred my family and friends to him and they love him!! The whole staff is super great and wonderful!!!
