The doctors and staff have been really nice, gave me lots of free samples before I could buy contacts, replaced my lenses for free under warranty even though I admitted my kitten chewed them up when I left them out, and gave me a discount when I got my first exam because I didnt have insurance. My vision issue is psychosomatic, so our tests and finding the right prescription was 10 times more difficult, and I had to go back many times before we could settle on the right prescription, and they were so patient and I was not charged for the extra visits because it was considered The same prescription fitting. Once, I walked in with no warning because my glasses were broken and I was frantic, about to leave town. They stopped everything and fixed them for me right there, and still ordered a new hinge (at no cost) to fix them more properly/ permanently once I got back in town,.But the temporary fix was perfect, and he got it done in like 5-10 minutes, it was such a lifesaver I could not believe it. They have also been extremely understanding and supportive that I need psychotherapy in addition to my glasses, to resolve my vision issue. I am so grateful for their moral support in this area, and I am seeing improvements. There may have been a couple times where an order took a long time (the hinge and some contacts, neither of which were urgent at all and they gave me free contact samples), but they made up for it and then some. They made my glasses in less than 24 hours, I was shocked. Ive been very grateful. *Ive also been very polite from the beginning, and I definitely find that you get what you give out.

I am a long-time patient of Dr. Ngo, and I continue to be impressed by her expertise and the personal care I have received regarding my challenging vision problems. Recently, a poor decision on my part resulted in a serious eye-related condition, and she once again came to my rescue. I had been getting lash extensions for about six months, and I kept persevering with them in spite of continuous eyelid irritations. When I finally realized that my skin was too sensitive for the lashes, I had them removed, and I was horrified to discover that most of my natural lashes had also been removed! Dr. Ngo was very empathetic and had been researching an array of serums, looking for one she could offer her patients which was safe, would promote eyelash growth but would not change eye pigment or cause irritation. She found the perfect serum and was confident that I would experience positive results. I have been using the serum for about three months, and I am amazed! My eyelashes are longer than they were before the extensions. If you have thinning lashes, I strongly recommend that you stop by Ella Eyes and give this a try. While you are there check out the new beautiful location, the great frames, and what I consider to be the friendliest and most competent optometrist in town!

Worst Eye Exam Experience Ever!!!!! I have never in sixteen years of glasses had such a hassle in getting my eyes dilated and my prescription filled. When I mention I needed contacts as well it became even worse. Trial pairs couldnt be found and specific fees are charged depending on your eyes. For the dilation there was this huge hassle of me getting them dilated the next week when I came for my contact fitting even though I was already there for the exam. I finally told them to please give me my prescription so I could leave and I wasnt interested in dilation anymore. They got upset when I wouldnt fill my glasses prescription at their facilities and when I went to LensCrafters, they had already claimed the benefit for frames and lens and the LenCrafters personnel had to call and handle it so I could get my glasses. Also, after my first appointment booking, I get a call days later and they person who scheduled my appointment "forgot" that there wouldnt be any doctors in. I understood it was after a holiday but when I pointed this out in my original booking I was assured that there would be a doctor in the office that day. Bottom line, never never never go here!!!! It is hassle that really is not worth your time for the quality of care you receive.

I can not begin to explain how horrible & unprofessional this place is. The staff was nice, but my gosh...I came in for my appointment and no one greeted me for 15 minutes. They saw me walk in but they were chatting amongst themselves and did not bother assisting me. I finally had to walk up to them myself to get their attention. On top of all this..I get the idea that these people are a scam. After my exam, they told me my total was $115.00 and I asked why it was so high because I know my insurance covers $130.00. They told me that I would lose the other $15 so it would be smarter if I just paid in cash without insurance so that I could use the full $130 towards my contact lenses. When my contact lenses were ready I got a phone call and the same girl told me over the phone that my total was $120.00 and I asked her why the total was so high again?! She told me that she could not split the insurance because half my contacts were colored and the other were clear. None of this makes sense. I have been going to the same eye doctor for years and doing the same thing and my total has never been this high. This is my first time with Ella Eyes and my advice would be to never go!!!!

Not so great. My rx keeps changing, but the records dont seem to be updated. Delivery of glasses is ridiculously slow (and theres always a reason ... "it must be because of [insert weather, holiday, excuse of your choice here]) and she rarely has contacts in stock. As a first time contacts wearer, I wasnt given a case, solution, nothing... nada. If you call and reach Alex, forget it. He wont call you back regarding your order, the status, if theres any contacts in stock. If he puts you on hold, prepare to wait. If you hang up after 10 minutes, he wont call you to follow up. When you have an issue, theyre very nice and apologetic. But theres no follow up, and no follow through! Stalking the staff isnt something the customer should have to do - especially after over $600 has been spent on glasses/lenses in the past 7 months! Ive gone to Target Optical ... and Im no Target fan... but they are on the ball, have plenty in stock, and quick delivery.

Im a new Patient at Ella Eyes, So my review is solely on my first exam which was performed on 4/20/16. Dr. Diana Ngo was AMAZING! I try to not as off from work for Exams so I look for places that are open well after 5:30pm and this place offered that ( they close at 7 on certain days). I had a late appointment and since I had all testing done it took well over an hour to get done and it was 15 minutes after closing and NEVER did I feel like I was rushed, I felt very taken care of and Dr. Diana Ngo was VERY patient with me. The fact that although Im a young adult but was treated with respect and had their constant attention was very refreshing and I had a great first impression. I look forward to having Dr. Diana Ngo as my eye doctor. I highly recommend her.
