Eye exam was alright actually. The problem started with the incompetent opticians. First one wanted our Social Security #s, and we said no which almost brought our adventure to an end immediately. However after 2 minutes of back and forth (I was ready to walk out at that point but drive truck and really need new glasses) that issue was resolved. Then the real fun began 2 weeks to get glasses (10 business days) was a big disappointment (seems everyone has a "special" prescription) but the biggest disappointment came when other than our frames (my wife was getting glasses also) the lenses and coatings brands and prices were picked for us with no choices or options given, listed, or explained. Needless to say that the cost for our eyeglasses after insurance was more than I wouldve payed without using insurance and paying straight out of pocket from Costco or Americas Best or Walmart, etc. Frames regardless of brand name are made in China by the same manufacturer. Lenses and coatings are so wildly priced that the opticians and retailers are able to make huge markups and that is why Lenscrafters charges 200% - 600% markups. The same reason why other retailers can give you 2 pairs of eyeglasses for half the cost of a single pair from others. But this lenscrafters is quite possibly the worst. Customer service does not exist nor does common sense. BTW unless you are asking the Dr./Dentist or Pharmacy/Clinic/Provider for credit for services or goods you DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE THEM YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, if they deny you service for not giving them that number they are committing a crime. They do NOT need it and your Insurance provider will tell you the very same thing. The employees at this place were the worst.

I came into the store on a Saturday and there was one person on the floor and one making lenses. There was only one other customer in there that was getting serviced. During my initial 20 mins of being inside of the store, I never once received a greeting - a simple "Hi, ill be with you shortly" would of sufficed. I went back to the store to check if my frames came in and to ask them to measure my pupillary distance (PD). Before answering if they would do it, the lady asked me if I was ordering on-line. I answered that I was looking online, as though her follow up question dictated her answer. She is the same lady that check for my frames. Based on my reply, she answered that she couldnt do my PD, so I asked someone else in the store if they could do it, so they did it for me. I was lied to and my request of getting my PD done was contingent on my answer if I was getting frames online? Didnt I just ask you if my frames were in, so im obviously a customer. Well, that just ruined any chance of me buying from here. When I ordered my frames, I was told that they would be in about 5-7 days - at the very least, the following Saturday. 13 days later, I never gotten a phone call and Im sure I would of never gotten a phone call, so I decided to call and check on my frames. The lady puts me on hold and comes back to say that there is nothing in for me. Why didnt I get a courtesy call after 7 days? You guys failed all the way through....from initial meeting, services and ordering - common customer courtesy is something that needs improving. I will never come here again. Terrible terrible service.

So me and my mother who are black, decided to go to this lens crafters to buy a new pair of eye glasses for myself and her a pair of readers. When we walked inside, we were not greeted or asked did we need help cause the staff was busy with other customers. We started to look at the eye glasses and found a pair we liked, again noone asked if we needed help nor were we greeted. Eventually we took a seat and again no employee asked if we needed help. About 5 mins after taking a seat the staff was still equally busy, a white mother and her daughter walked in to get an eye exam. They were immediately greeted and was provided assistance as to where they should go for the eye exam. When one of the staff members were done with a customer we still were not greeted or asked if we needed assistance. Finally, we had to ask for assistance after a 10-15 minute wait. This is buy far the most disrecptful service I have encountered and borderline racism. I will never shop at this store again and will recommend others to not shop there.

Avoid this optician as well as store. I got my eyes tested as well as bought spects from here. Optician did the testing but did not write the complete prescription power on form. It was ommited for cylindrical power whereas I have one. Then I went to the store to buy spects. Frame chosen was for around $100, but after lens fitment bill was around $300. Hence I decided to buy only frame from this store. Entire $100 spects was covered by my insurance so i paid $0. However, this store had negotiated rates with my insurance and they were paid only $54 for spects. They never informed me that I will pay lower price under insurance, otherwise I would have gone for better frame. I will never visit this store again.

I was greeted right away both times. I walked in. The only complaint I have is the price of lenses I have single vision got anti reflective with transition $605 regular Price. I do not have insurance. So lucky they had buy frame half off lens so I ended up paying 307.50 and $245 for frames. At end they said I have a protection plan $25 each if damaged for a year. I assumed It was free until Im home and read receipt saying $34.99 for it. Well I wished they wouldve asked me first. Total $590.38. Omg well this was my first time ever buying glasses priced so high and my last.

The staff were so friendly and professional. I had never had the perfect glasses like that since I found this lenscrafters. I am extremely with my new glasses. My nose is flat so the old glasses always fell down on my nose but they adjust the new glasses So perfectly..Service is goood!!
