I got Lasik prk done in 2015 and my eyes are still always dry to the point where they feel like theres an eyelash in my eye because it burns but theres nothing there and when I wake up my eyes hurt really bad like my eyelids are scratching the surface of my eyeballs because theyre so dry and at night time its very hard to drive because all the car lights are blinding me and when I wear my polarized glasses at night then the headlights of other cars they dont burst out light and glares. The only reason I put on the polarized glasses at night was because i wanted to do a test on my eyes. because after 2 years of Lasik its very hard to remember what lights are supposed to look like at night .The worst part of it is Im only 27 years old and I have floaters and both of my eyes and I went to a different eye doctor for a checkup and he told me I have deterioration of the eye which is not supposed to happen until Im 50 years old with age and he said its caused from eye trauma or age after 50 and he said that my Lasik wasnt done well Im sad because its only been two years and all these problems happened. at first the first year I only had dry eyes but now after two years is when the floaters appeared and the burst of light and the Halos effect and its because after you get Lasik it could be years later that that your eyes show the true damage Ive been doing my research now hoping I can fix the problem but I cant. dont go to Bruce January. Or better yet dont do PRK. I cant speak for Lasik because that they create a flap. I got PRK done. I really hope you guys consider what its like going blind you cant go back if I could warn everyone I would but I cant stand in front of the office with the sign you know a security guards gonna come kick me out or something all I can do is tell my friends dont get it done because some of them are curious about it especially my military buddies dont do it you guys and if you do do it well remember I warned you Im just saying Im really sad now but I still get through life okay its only been two years but its so hard to see at night Im worried whats going to happen in the next two years from now.

I am extremely happy with my experience. First off ,i can see..wow..then the staff was so caring, friendly and professional. I couldnt have asked for a nicer, more knowledgeable group from start to finish. I really felt like I was given very individualized attention and made to feel very comfortable about the procedure. The place runs like a perfectly tuned engine..everyone going above and beyond their duties. It seems as though you not only have to be a compassionate, intelligent person to work there but also have an amazing individualized personality which they all did. I enjoy dealing with a staff that i can talk to, joke with and feel connected with..that is what i got at this A+ establishment. Professionalism and personality sold me on this establishment plus the fact that practice makes perfect and they do so many of these procedures a year..i felt very much at ease ..i knew i was in good hands. Dr. January who did the actual procedure is a charismatic, confident doc. Love love loved him. I have began referring all my close friends, fb friends and family here. Even my step mother is about to set up a consultation and she is very particular. Yes, there are many places you can go but for the experience, the knowledge, the facility, "state of the art" equipment used, and the awesome caring staff most would expect to pay more ..the pricing is beyond fair. I was pleased to find out how much ..pleasantly shocked actually. Do yourself a favor and set up an appointment if you are considering LASIK...you will not be sorry..being able to see rocks!!!

Rude and extremely inconsiderate! Not a welcoming environment for kids or pregnant women. They have 2 big waiting rooms and a lobby area. Judging from the 2 hours and 20 minutes we were made to wait outside in the hallway. We could clearly see that all 3 rooms remain pretty empty. We arrived at 1:15 for our 1:30 appointment and werent seen until 1:50. Which isnt bad but when you have 5-7 treatment rooms, 10-12 staff sitting or standing around and only 1-3 patients its kind of noticeable. When making the appointment the receptionist should have clearly stated that the consultation would be 1-3 hours and to not bring kids. I have been to numerous establishments were it states dont bring your kids or were not child friendly. My 2 year old as most 2 year olds do after waiting for hours was tired and restless. He was crying and whining as I tried to comfort him the doctor comes from the back and tells me "LEAVE YOU NEED TO TAKE HIM OUTSIDE AND WAIT!" Meaning not outside to the lobby outside the practice! Me (being 7 months pregnant) with a small child standing outside in the hall way for hours with no where to sit is very unreasonable. After a few nasty remarks from her and other staff we exchange words and she says to not let me back in the office.

I would definitely NOT recommend this place. They do not deserve even one star. Dr. January is a weirdo and kept talking about chakra and energy and then refused to do the procedure. He was taping something to my face and it was hurting so I asked what he was doing. He became sarcastic and obnoxious. The place itself is crowded and unpleasant and you have to wait forever for each little thing to be done. If you are looking for personal attention, go someplace else. Not one person in the office could even manage to pronounce my simple, common 4 letter name correctly. I was LITERALLY a number in an assembly line. I had better receive a FULL refund of the 3K I had to pay (so much for that $299 ad) because I did nothing wrong and they treated me like it was all my fault. I was willing to do the procedure, I followed all the instructions, but I was told it would not be painful and it was painful before they even began!!!! HORRIBLE experience and a huge waste of my time. Also, my eye that they were taping is still hurting and I have no idea why - going to go see a REAL eye doctor monday any find out if he scratched my cornea.

I had put off getting laser because of price and fear that i would be that small percentage that would have complications due to the laser surgery. But after losing my glasses on a vacation trip and feeling like an invalid for those two days I decided to do the surgery. The lasik people were polite and professional, I got the lifetime plan which will correct any future issues with my vision ( you have to get an eye evaluation each year). When they do the procedure, they sit you in this chair and give you a stuffed animal to hold on to, then in just a few minutes i was done. You literally have perfect vision when you open your eyes, its amazing. For a person whose lived their entire life in a haze and blur, it felt truly life changing. But this is just my experience. I am happy with the results, but everyone should do their homework and research and see if this is really for them.
