Oj Pigtails

Always ALWAYS overpriced. You can get things from the original publishers for at LEAST $50 cheaper every single time. Professors recommend you do that, actually. Even their Cougar merch is overpriced -- just go to Academy. Also their employees sometimes give the wrong access codes to you, even when you specify your professor/section number. (Second time for me, two semesters in a row, so theyve lost my business.)

Do not buy anything here unless you absolutely must have to. Textbooks and school supplies are overpriced almost all the times! Go to textbook brokers or Amazon for better deals! I was going to buy a small stapler for like $4 but the same stapler cost like $1 elsewhere. Dont buy here unless you got money to blow or need something that is only available here!

Overpriced and long lines! Stick to Amazon they have an excellent return policy and fast shipping. Every semester this school fails at releasing the list of required course materials in a resonable amount of time before classes start. I think they purposely hold out so you are forced to buy from them or go days without textbooks if you order online.

It can be pricey but I much rather buy my cougar gear here because Im supporting the school and I know Im getting legit NCAA licensed gear. The college bookstore app lets you know when its almost time to turn in your rentals plus sometimes they have coupons on there that you can use in the bookstore. The customer service could be better though...

Be sure to return your rental books on time, they will not give you a courtesy notice on the upcoming date like most companies do, nor give you an extended loan on the books for a small additional charge, they will flat out charge you for the entire book and say it is yours to keep. Never will I rent from here again.

Everything is overpriced - from the books to the memorabilia. Cheaper options can be found elsewhere; paying someone to custom-embroider the UH logo on a polo is cheaper than buying it here. Good quality merchandise if you dont mind the price hike.

Great place to chill and a HUGE selection. Prices on books are inflated but its a University bookstore, what do you expect? The merchandise prices are fairly reasonable though.

They have an online ordering system. It is recommended vs. trying to find what you need in store. Just show up with an ID and pick up.
