I have had wonderful experiences at this store! I was just in a couple days ago to get something for my daughter, each employee that crossed my path attempted to help me. One employee gave me great advice on waiting until I could bring my daughter in so she could pick out her own bible. Joanie- if you happen upon this review or for anyone that maybe deterred from the thought of "theft," the employees lingered around a bit with me as well but it was more like they were truly there to help, not to see if I was stealing. They talked, pulled out books for me and answered any questions I had. The employee told me to open books and really check them out, they were a great help! But We all have different experiences and perceptions. My daughter and I are going back today so she can choose her new bible!

Yesterday I bought a workbook at the Tyler store. As I was walking to the exit a display of a childs book caught my eye. The book had been highly recommended and I stopped to read the summary of the story. I hardly read the first 2 sentences when I heard, "May I help you?" My first thought was, "With what? Its a childs book, no big words." Then it dawned on me. She thought I was a thief! If I thought the book was something my g-granddaughters would like, I fully intended to walk back to the cashier and BUY IT! But with the saleswoman watching every move I made, I just put the book back and walked out. If I ever have to buy another book from Lifeway, I will do it on line. I do not intend going into that store again.

Everyone is always nice in this store, Ive been going there since it opened. A sweet young lady named Taylor was very helpful on my last visit. Truly a servants heart.
