As a first year teacher, I was very nervous about overspending when I walked into the Hobby Lobby in Georgetown. Although, my mother sent me a coupon for 40% off so I felt pretty confident I was going to get more for my money. The employees in the back were helpful and friendly in answering my questions as well as pointing me in the right direction. Unfortunately, the cashiers up front were unpleasantly unfriendly and lacked customer service skills. Desaree checked me out and she seemed very hurried and short with me. When comfirming certain prices on items she had a smart alec attitude. When I presented my coupon, I wasnt expecting it to be used on only one item (even though that was my fault for not reading the fine print) and Desaree continued to be very dry and prudent. Shocked at how much I was having to pay for my items, I completely forgot to use my tax exempt form. It was too late for Desaree to fix it. She proceeded to tell me very rudely I would have to go to the other register to fix the problem. When she mentioned it to the other cashier, she whispered to her and was smiling leading me to believe she was being scarcastic and annoyed with me. All the while, my toddler in the cart is getting very antsy and starting to whine. I felt very uncomfortable and unwanted in the store. I am very unsatisfied with the customer service at this location.

I shop here weekly. The staff are by far the nicest, friendliest Hobby Lobby staff Ive seen. And, this store stays clean, tidy, and customer friendly always. Must have excellent management at this location. Its a stark and shocking contrast to Hobby Lobbys Flower Mound, Texas, location, where the management are curt and unfriendly, stand out front on breaks and smoke, and generally are abysmal managers.

All HLs are pretty much the same, this one always seems to be short staffed when busy on a Saturday... And "heaven forbid" you want any décor for you home "bar" as it seems they go out of their way to avoid selling "sinful" things... Closed Sundays - for a hobby store customers have only weekends off, I dont understand...

Two out of two employees that I asked for some light guidance were rude and dismissive. Would have been better off reading some blog posts and buying off Amazon. Note to management: Your days in physical location sales are numbered. Train your employees to be helpful to customers looking to buy your products.

Love the pictures for decorating my house and classroom, but the employees/managers always seem annoyed by my questions. Also Ive been in 3 times the past 2 weeks (decorating a nursery for my baby) and every time the restrooms were disgusting! I didnt even let my 3 year old use them one day!

Needed to pick up some plastics modeling supplies. My purchase required an employee to unlock a cabinet and I walked up to the first person I noticed and she dropped what she was doing to immediately take care of me. Great customer service.

Its Hobby Lobby. You have to blind fold me to get me out quickly. Employees are friendly and everything is easy to find. They accept the coupons from your phone and always have deals. What more do you need?

A bit backwards from other stores but overall they have the same items. I dont fully understand how they can keep accurate inventory since they dont use the SKU numbers or bar-codes on their products.
