I recently had a HORRIBLE experience with the framing department at Georgetown Michaels. I took in 6 pieces of MY ORIGINAL ARTWORK for framing. I explained the labor and love I had put into a gift for my granddaughter on the birth of her baby. Joelleen assured she "would take good care of it". I commented when I picked it up that it didnt look right. When I unwrapped it for photos, I was shocked to see a wrinkle all along the right side of the art. It appeared to have been glued together sloppily. It should not have been glued or whatever was done that RUINED the art! When I spoke to the framing department manager, Sheree, on the phone, she said she could refund my money if I return the materials OR give me a 25% discount, and itll be done in 1-2 days! Neither of these is satisfactory to the great grandmother of a baby BORN today who has spent a week recreating the artwork because a framer was having a bad day! I am beyond dissatisfied! I had to give this 1 star to post it. I would remove it if I could. Pick another place to have your special piece framed!

The best... literally! Weve never been to any other store (besides Nordstroms lol) that has such good customer care! We went there yesterday because all Spooky Town items were marked 75% and came home with 2 brand new pieces that would originally be $180 all together, and a broken one (it just needed to be glued) for free! All of our stuff ended up being $35 DOLLARS!! Thank you Mrs. Cheree!!

Very small store. Feels cramped and seems like they never have what youre looking for. I went to a Michaels in Tyler and it was one hundred percent better. I actually could have spent hours browsing there.
