I had an appt earlier in the day at another bridal salon. Since I had no idea how long that was going take, or if my MOH even had time to go to other stores, I did not schedule an appt at Alfred Angelo. But we did end up having time, so we decided to stop in. The girls working were extremely rude. They asked what I was there for & I said I was shopping for bridesmaids. The girl told me there was no one to help me bc I hadnt scheduled an appt. She was not at all friendly, she didnt explain how things worked there... she was basically just trying to shove us out the door as fast as possible. My Maid of Honor got frustrated too & just simply asked, well, cant we just browse around? Cant I just try on one or two dresses quick without assistance? The answer was NO. The sales associate told us in a snotty, rude voice that we were welcome to browse but we werent allowed to try anything on. We started browsing the 2 racks of dresses (btw bridesmaid dress selection VERY small) and when my maid of honor asked the sales associate how the dresses were arranged, she didnt want to help us with that either! I need to point out, this sales associate was NOT helping any other customers, she was standing at the desk, we were NOT interrupting her work at all. I already had a catalog & had shopped online prior to coming in, so I was curious about 1 dress in particular. We tried to ask her if the dresses were arranged by number & she said, no, by color, and then completely ignored us when we gave her a specific style number I was looking for. So WE went through every dress on the rack, trying to find it, only to discover it didnt even exist in this store. The girl could have simply looked up the dress number & told us it wasnt in that store, but apparently that was too much too ask... you know, for her to do her job! I will never go back here. I cant believe how we were treated & how snotty the employees were! I can say this... it made my dress decision a lot easier bc I have now eliminated any Alfred Angelo dresses from my choices! If an appt is absolutely necessary, it should say on the website that its mandatory. This girl could have simply been friendly & answered a few questions for us, but instead she decided to turn her nose up at me, my mom & MOH. They are snotty, rude girls at this shop. They obviously didnt care about getting my business, or care about the first impression they give people. I will be purchasing from Davids Bridal, and would never recommend Alfred Angelo, ever.

I came to Alfred Angelo with my heart set on one wedding dress that I saw on their website. I came to the store on Sunday afternoon (February 5) and went straight for the Disney Fairytale collection to see if they had the dress I wanted. I was ready to try it on, and when I was asked if I had checked it, I said no, but they took down some basic info and let me know that someone would be available to help me soon (it was a busy afternoon, so it was my mistake for not calling ahead of time. I didnt anticipate the time it would take to try on a dress). My wait time wasnt long at all and I was super happy and relieved that I was able to helped right away. Terri helped me throughout the whole process. She was AMAZING and super sweet. I told her which dress I wanted, but she suggested I try on 2 other gowns from the Disney collection that were similar to what I was looking for. Im glad she suggested I try on 2 other dresses first because it built up the WOW factor when I got to try on the dress I originally wanted. Needless to say, I found my dream wedding dress that afternoon. Terri explained to my mother and me the process of buying a dress, how long it takes to be made, and how to properly store it prior to the big day (which for me wont be until August 2018); she also gave some info in regards to ordering dresses for my bridesmaids, flower girls, and my mother. Very helpful. My overall experience was wonderful; Terri was of great help and I appreciate her assistance throughout the whole process. Ill admit, I was a little nervous upon going since I wasnt sure what to expect (Ive heard of past experiences of wedding dress shopping going wrong at other places, but not here). All in all, I felt taken care of (not pressured or rushed) and I am so excited that I already found my dream wedding dress.

Alfred Angelo in Frisco was my first stop when wedding dress shopping, and set the bar very high for my other appointments (none of which ended up holding a candle to Alfred Angelo). My appointment was at 10am on a Saturday, and they promptly opened the doors at 10 and started getting their appointments settled. I had three guests with me, and they all had a seat to sit in and were given bottles of water (as was I). My bridal stylist was Terri and she was sincere, so much fun, very knowledgeable, down to earth and just plain awesome. She asked me what I was looking for - what I liked and disliked - and started me off with the dress I had as my number one (which ended up not being "the one") and a few others I had picked out online, and then took the elements I liked and brought me a dress I hadnt favorited online, but combined all the aspects I liked in the other dresses and ended up really tugging at my heart strings. I decided to keep my other appointment at Davids Bridal (nightmare) and made a stop at Terry Costa (overrun by prom dress shoppers), but came back and purchased the dress at Alfred Angelo, because the more I looked, the more I realized I loved the dress, and appreciated the wonderful experience at Alfred Angelo. The boutique is small and really cares about providing a wonderful, personal experience for brides-to-be and their guests, the stylists were all fun and helpful, the boutique (and bathrooms) are clean and well-maintained, you do not feel pressured to purchase, the prices are reasonable...I am just beyond pleased with my experience at Alfred Angelo in Frisco and would recommend it (and Terri) to all brides-to-be!

When I went to try on my dress I was guaranteed that I could get anything done to it and we could make it with all my customizations. I ordered it with a belt and a trim for an extra $600. When my dress came in, I received a call from Erin explaining that my trim wasnt actually on the dress because that wasnt possible, however alterations would get it on there. My belt also came in 3 different pieces to be altered on. I originally made an appointment with alterations, when I arrived my dress wasnt there. They gave my dress to my mother without talking to me. No signature is required to pick up a dress? So I made an appointment with their alterations lady who gave me a price of $760. I didnt need any taking in or length issues. The $760 price was for the belt, the trim, and 1 bustle. Thats it. And this price was so high because the extra I paid was for fabric only, not labor apparently. So I said no thank you, and took my dress elsewhere. When I was getting pinned, we found that the trim I had received was 1.5yds SHORT. So, I called in and after a week of dealing with Renee, the district manager, she delivered 1.5yds of fabric. However, my alterations lady called me an let me know that since they didnt just give me the whole length in the first place it was now and extra $260 to piece together and put on the trim. That wasnt in my budget so I am walking down the aisle in a week in a dress that they assured me would be perfect. Except its not. I wish I never used this place. I do not have the dress they guaranteed to me and I had to jump through hoops to get it.
