I have just come off of a two month ordeal trying to get my vacuum repaired. I had previously (4 years ago) had repair done and was very pleased with it. The system is completely different now and a total failure to customers. I dropped my vacuum off and after several weeks of not hearing anything, called customer service. They told me that they had called us (they never did) and that the vacuum was ready for pick up. We arrived to find that the vacuum was not in the store, and that we had not been called to authorize repair. We called and authorized a repair of 150.00. Again after not hearing from them, we returned to the store to find that the vacuum was ready and waiting for us. No one called. We brought it home and attempted to use it, and the wheels fell off. They had never properly reattached them after "completing" the repair. We took it in AGAIN and were told that the repair would be expedited. Two weeks and four days later, after receiving NO CALL, I went to the store and lo and behold the vacuum is ready. The customer service we experienced was horrible. The people that we dealt with were non-apologetic, and I was passed from one department to another to find out what was going on. It was a TOTAL NIGHTMARE and I will never shop with Sears again.

Sears – Shame on you! I will NEVER purchase a large appliance from you guys again. I purchased a freezer from you guys 6 months ago along with the extended warranty to go with it. SIX days ago, my brand new freezer went out causing more than $500 in food loss. I called customer service to get a tech out here to repair it. I spoke with numerous customer service reps (whom I could barely understand due to their poor English) and was transferred all over the globe before I finally received a repair date. That date happened to be EIGHT days out. I was promised that I would receive a call the following day (yesterday) by someone in yet a different department and that they would move my repair date up since my freezer was so new. I NEVER received that call and when I called today to follow up myself, I was informed that there was nothing they could do to move the date up. I have a family of 7 with 5 children and it’s NOT acceptable to have to wait EIGHT days to have my repair made. I am extremely disappointed and I vow to spend the remaining of those eight days writing bad reviews all over the internet. This is RIDICULOUS and UNACCEPTABLE! YOU OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED!

My elderly mother bought a twin size mattress late last year as she was moving to a new, smaller place to live. It was delivered early November. She spent $1,497 for mattress, mattress cover, sheets etc. She slept in the bed two nights and fell out of bed each night. We set is aside and bought her a full size mattress the next day. The return instructions stated that you cannot return a mattress for the first 30 days as they want you to get used to it, and you must return it within 60 days. I misunderstood the 60 days and believed we could return it during the 31 to 90 day period. I called Sears today to arrange for the return and was told we had missed the window of opportunity (by 8 days). There is nothing that can be done about it, not even a partial refund. We spent $1,497 for nothing. I have a brand new twin mattress that only a child could sleep in, and a large credit card bill to pay off. Was this partially my fault - YES. Did Sears make any effort to help - NO. I will not shop there again.

Bought a very expensive Kenmore Elite refrigerator before we moved into our new house, the house wasnt ready and the frig came in a little early, sears said we could leave it with them until we were ready to move in no problem. Shortly after moving in the frig began having problems dispensing ice, I told them it was a design flaw, they told me they need to do a service ticket. so... after they replaced the icemaker TWICE, it still has the same problem. I called and said I wanted to EXCHANGE it for a different frig. They told me, SORRY, its outside the return window by ONE WEEK! Thanks Sears!

I bought a $1,500 refrigerator today and will never do business with Sears or Sears in Denton, TX. again. The sales person was not well informed and lied to us via the store manger concerning missing parts. I had to listened to the loading guys disgust for having to help load the refrigerator. To top it off when I got home all of the advertising display stickers where left on as well as no instruction manual and no what tube. Two missing parts and horrible service. Well done Sears, Well done.

I bought a set of Craftsman Evolve Hex sockets a couple of months ago and one snapped in half. I took it back and unless you have the original receipt to join their preferred customer club (aka mailing list) they will not warranty it. JUNK! They lost a customer over a $9.99 tool. I hate buying stuff there because I always get harassed at the checkout. Do you have a Sears Card, Want to join our mailing list? No! I want a tool. That is all. No wonder Sears is dying on the vine.

Upon entering the store I didnt see any cashiers but one at the jewelry counter and she was busy conversating about flowers with a customer. I went on through because I was anxious to purchase a new vacuum. I went through the tools & BBQ equipment section & there was a cashier putting items in a basket. Never asked if I needed help, nothing. Just directed me to the vacuums. I stood for over 10 minutes waiting for him or someone to come & sadly no one came.

Bought a 300 dollar lawn mower from them last spring. Used it for one season. Been using it for the last few months this season. it just broke on me. No warranty. The repair shop is tragic and the phone service is the worst Ive ever dealt with. They are losing a lot of business from me every year.

First, nothing in this store is worth any amount of money. Not that that matters, though. The hours are insane. Really? You dont open till 11am most days? Why even bother opening at all? If youre going to give up because you cant compete with the internet, give up completely.

Went to get alignment done on my car and the lazy ass people in the shop dont know what to do if a bolt is to tight they told me they couldnt get the bolt loose so they couldnt do it there a joke and need to be shut down they suck
