I am a die hard Nordstrom fan and have been to many, many locations including others in the DFW area. Unfortunately, I must agree with the reviews below who say this location does not live up to the Nordstrom name in any way. I have shopped in the beauty department as well as fashion department, and service was sorely lacking in both. The worst was by far the beauty department. The sales people run the gamut, including extremely pushy, and completely disinterested. One of the ladies was so very pushy, it made me really uncomfortable. She insisted that she looked much younger than her age, thanks to a product that she swears by, which conveniently, was one that I was interested in. It was an outright lie too since I know for a fact that its a product that has come out in the last couple of years, and she insisted shes been using it for 20+ years. It was just a really cheap sales tactic. On the other end of the spectrum, I waited 10+ minutes to be helped at one of the counters, while sales assistants were chatting with each other at the next counter. They did not acknowledge my presence in any way, until I physically walked the few feet that separated us and asked for help. Once I was helped, the service was very curt - not a smile nor a kind word was offered. I am used to friendly, personable, accomodating yet never pushy service from Nordstrom and this location is nothing of the sort. It is a real shame.

My husband and I just left this store and I have to share my experience. We were walking out of Nordstrom and my husband spotted a watch on display within the clothing section closest to the entrance from the parking lot. My husband picked this watch up for not even 3 seconds and a Caucasian individual with a British/ accent came over as if to talk to us about the watch but instead TOOK the watch out of my husbands hand to place it back on the shelf. Of course, to be a smart alleck, my husband said, "can you check the price for me?" This guy goes to check the price and takes a good minute to do a so, yells the price across the sales floor to us, then exits stage left to another section. ???? 1. If you have the audacity to come take something out of our hands, have the audacity to come back to a customer to report on their inquiry. 2. Not only did you take the watch from the customer, then not put the watch back at the display, to avoid us...you yell the price and proceed to a whole other section of the floor...the opposite direction. Thia experience was so unnecessary but definitely warranted a review for a person ignorant in customer service and sales. I will be calling the store tomorrow to report as well.

I continue to be disappointed by the customer service at this location in the last six months. This location is the closet one to me and thats about 15 miles one way. The clerk at the Bobbi Brown counter put the wrong color of product in my bag. Stupid me for not checking, as this is not the first time this has happened and Im sorry, but Auburn sounds nothing like the Mahogany I was given. I called to the next day to explain what happened and see if they had discontinued what I asked for or something. After a 30 seconds of silence, the girl finally said "yes, we have two of those in auburn". No apology or anything, no offer to ship it or nothing. I asked her to hold one and drove out there again. When I arrived the clerk acted like it was a bother to do my exchange and again no apologies or anything. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE NORDSTROM CUSTMER SERVICE THAT I LOVED!!!! The customer service that used to make me drive out there. Sadly, this is not the first poor service experience I have had there lately. Guess Ill just be ordering online from somewhere else from now on.

THE WORST NORDSTROM I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! If I can give their customer service a 0 I would. The people who work in the shoes department have the such bad attitudes. When I was there nobody ask me if i needed to try on anything or need to get a size. I have to ask a guy to get a size for me, he say someone else will get it. After a while he came back and say theyre short staff, he rudely snatched the the shoe and ran around with it while talking to other customers. Finally he threw it at someone else, another guy rudely threw it at another girl name Taylor. Taylor went to the backroom for 20 minutes to come back and tell me its not back there, she cant find it. If nobody want to look for it, they could have to told me instead of wasting my time sitting there waiting 30 minutes on a shoe nobody want to look for. I saw Taylor tell another girl she cant find it. That girl look straight at us shrugged it off say "who cares". Like really???? If the shoes I want arent expensive enough for good customet service, why do you even carry it Nordstrom!

I called multiple times yesterday to get info on the MAC event, national lipstick day. I wanted to make sure I had the right timings! The operator kept assuring me the gates open at 8, even when I told her online it said 10am! She said no 8am if you want the lipstick since they have limited supply. My mom and I woke up early and stood outside their doors along with many others, who were told the same thing, for a good hour just to find out that they didnt open MAC till 10am. Just like I thought...so why was I told 8am multiple times? Why wasnt the operator informed of this event? I am very disappointed.

I love Nordstrom and will continue to buy, but only online. My last experience was the least bit satisfying and somewhat uncomfortable. The service I received felt like I was a being a bother, maybe because it was late at night? I decided to look at shoes with the younger kid helping me...I picked up a Magnnani shoe and was immediately told I should look over on the other wall, so I could look at shoes that I could afford... Being in sales, I know you should never insinuate that a customer cant afford something. Maybe thats something yall need to train your employees.

I am a diehard Nordstrom fan; I wear J.W. shirts, I love their service, I have the card... This location however stinks. I gave them two stars save the Nordstrom name. Aside from that, the staff seems to be more interested in chatting with one another rather than provide outstanding client service and I dont think theyd be able to pair an ensemble if the catalogue was staring them in the face. If youre seeking the Nordstrom experience Id suggest you head south on the DNT a little ways to the Galleria.

A very clean place where you can spend an entire family day, enjoy some games with the kids, a ride on an train and grabbing a snack, ice cream or having lunch. My experience on a Nordstrom in California left me with almost an empty wallet and I was surprised how this one considering the quality was more affordable. Not only food and drinks but all the stores inside have good quality products and the prices are considerably more affordable than some other malls or outlets. Highly recommended.
