We bought a Samsung Smart TV on sale at this store tonight, but when we got home - imagine our horror when we saw that 1) the tv was not wrapped in protective cover, 2) there were fingerprints on the screen, 3) the cords were taken out of the plastic, 4) the manuals / booklets that come with usage information and warranty were missing, 5) the remote was missing!! The box was sealed like new, no indication that its used or returned [Target doesnt sell used stuff]. So I called Guest Services to report this, they explained it was probably an unmarked return but whoever took it back from Target did not check if alls fine. They said they can exchange it with another new unit or give me a refund. So very reluctantly, we went back late at night before they closed at 11, packed the tv back into the box as best as we can, and brought it down 3 flights of stairs to the car, drove back to Target. When we got there however, they said they thought they still have 1 other unit left but when they checked, what we got was the last one of those TVs. That almost aggravated the situation and I was on the verge of rightfully turning into Godzilla because I certainly wasnt happy about having to return on a late Sunday night, carry the huge heavy thing up and down 3 flights of stairs twice while it drizzled outside, and deal with all this while we should be relaxing already. So why 4 stars, you ask? Its because of how the Store Manager - Steve - addressed the situation tonight that turned around a bad customer experience. Im an advocate for Customer Service too for work so I have certain expectations of what Managers can and should do in such situations - if they have a customer-focused culture or process. Upon our return, Steve made sure he was the one who attended to us. He stayed with us to resolve the issue from the first minute until the end. He checked options he can give us, offered to exchange it for another TV of a similar value, personally checked and inspected if the TV we ended up bringing home [we opted to keep it since they didnt have a comparable TV in stock] is working 100%, threw in a universal remote with it [I wouldve asked if he didnt initiate], and gave us a huge discount [which is fair since its not brand spanking new out of the box as its supposed to be] which made me feel a bit better about going through all that trouble tonight. If it were not handled professionally, calmly, and empathically the way Steve did, I wouldve been so upset enough to report to BBB or whatever. Something definitely went wrong there and I hope this incident will help them look into their process for returns, but Im writing this online review to make sure STEVE the Store Manager gets the commendation and affirmation that he did a great job given the situation. Kudos!

For assistance the fitbit case is right by the the check out counter.I had my back turned the sale man never asked if I needed help. He went on to say he just lose his credit card. And the said. WHAT DO I NEED. NOT WHAT I CAN ASSIST YOU WITH. . THEN I ASKED FOR A MANAGER WANT SAY HER NAME BUT SHE NEVER. APOLOGIZED SHE JUST LOOKED AT ME DIDNT SAY ONE WORD. Until I asked her name. I guess the apple dont fall fare the the tree. RUDE.. MANAGE. .. RUDE. SALES MAN..

This is my home store, where I get most of my everything. Yes, its more expensive than Walmart, but the significantly improved experience makes it unquestionably worth it. It is more expensive by about 7-8%, Id say, because it is still a little more expensive than WalMart even with my 5% Target RedCard discount. They have great rotating specials on a small number of products throughout the grocery area (where I do the majority of my shopping), but the one thing that is almost always prohibitively expensive at Target is the Chips aisle (except for the ones where the price is part of the bag design, like Chesters Fries or Santitas - I buy those two a lot). The Customer Service desk has been very prompt and helpful on the rare occasions where Ive needed to visit it.

Rude. Came in here to get a gift for someone and the last clothing item was on a mannequin. The lady said "well Im not getting that down.. its too heavy." So I went to customer service to ask if anyone could get it down and the man was nice and told me the fitting room people should be able to do it.. so I told him what the rude lady said and he just repeated himself. Well Im not going to go back over there and argue with her. Also, the girl was nice to help me look for the item, but was acting like I was bothering her; like it was a difficult task and I was taking up her time. Only you can choose your attitude. If its something that absolutely cant be done, just be nice about it. Dont be rude.

Went to Target (electronics) on 2 occasions - had a 5 Star (excellent) experience on Saturday when a customer service rep Patrick assisted me in buying an iphone. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and he got me some extra savings by letting me pay more using my redcard. I had the bad experience another time when I went on a weekday and had to wait for 1 hour to buy an iphone (also missed on some savings which I could have made if the rep had made me aware of -like Patrick helped me) ! Also not happy with the way they drop our calls! I called atleast 5 times and tried various options but they all drop the calls!

Disappointing trip. I went to this location because the website said they had a particular item in stock. I got there, consulted an employee and found out that the item was no longer being carried by the stores. The employee was helpful with information, but not especially friendly. I witnessed a stack of boxes fall on a mans foot as I passed by, the employees kind of just looked at him and asked, "You ok?" The man was limping. I overheard another employee talk about how she didnt want to help other employees who were asking for assistance on the radio. This store needs an employee morale boost.

Been going to target for a long time their service has always been good, but on my last visit an employee named Cesar went above and beyond to ensure that my visit there was spectacular. I could see how hard working and dedicated he is to helping every customer who goes through his line. People like Cesar make target the best place to shop at.

A large target location. There are many friendly staff members who are eager to help and show you where things are. The pharmacist on staff are very knowledgable and ready to make recommendations/ or even point out that it might be something you should advice a doctor for. We go here all the time.
