I scheduled for a repairman to look at my ice maker. He showed up 1.5 hours late after sitting around waiting on him from 8 to noon. He took the ice tray out and said I needed a new ice machine and the cost would be $652.00, without ever removing the ice maker or checking to see if one part wasnt working. I called to complain about the service and was told that they have over 25 years of experience and if their repairman says the ice maker needs to be replaced, then they have to go with that. I was then told that they dont repair ice makers anymore and the only thing they would do was replace the whole thing. Since I had to let them know beforehand what the problem was, they should have told me up front that they wouldnt repair, just replace. They just wanted their $99 to diagnose the problem and hoping I would be an idiot and pay them more money. I use to trust Sears and will never purchase anything from them again.

I have bought craftsman for all my life until now. i purchased a 150$ jack at this store less than a year ago, it blew the seal and it is now useless. I have debated with the employees multiple times about returning it. The problem is i lost my receipt, which should be no problem because you can just look it up in the system. They cant find proof that i bought the jack at that store, i have been given multiple numbers to call and they either transfer me to someone else or tell me lies someone else will say is not true. I have been given nothing but a runaround, if i could see the security footage of the register when i purchased it i would be right there. This company cannot even do anything with the SERIAL NUMBER, they have given me people to call but wont call them themselves, they do not care one bit about customer service, the last suggestion given to me was buy the parts and go repair it myself.

I purchased a Craftsman 377050 mower that within three mowings was having trouble starting because the good people at Sears and Briggs& Stratton engineered a mower that wont run well on the gas you can buy down the street. Two trips to the Sears Repair Center and it comes back running, but leaking oil like a sieve. Sears Customer Service sets up a home repair visit- their technicians that work on riding mowers cant replace a gasket on a push mower. Sears products have gone downhill and their sense of customer service is a joke.

I just returned home after going to Sears to look at a X-Cargo XL Black 90040 15 cu. ft. Car Top Carrier. After finding them I went to open it to look inside of and it was locked, as were the other 2 that they had. When I found a Sears employ to share what I had interest in I ask him to unlock it so I could look inside of it before spending $179 + dollars on it and he said they did not have keys to unlock them! REALLY!

As loyal customers, my friend and I felt quite violated as we were not allowed to enter the upper floor level. We both did nothing wrong yet they continued to asked us to leave the store. No wonder why this store is dying! We also politely questioned why we were told to leave. Yet they still forced us to leave!

Good prices, but customer service is a joke. I needed to confirm merchandise pick-up and each time I called the store, the phone just rang and rang, then the line was disconnected. I was told by the call center rep to go in to the store to check the order status and make sure it will be there on time. REALLY?

They had a good price on tools online. I go to the store and the prices are different. THEY WONT PRICE MATCH THEIR OWN WEBSITE!!! I had to buy online and then go to pick up for online orders. Then they said since I put pay in store, I have to go back to the registers and pay. Wtf!! Terrible!

Customer Service is unacceptable. I have even complained to corporate, but they do not do anything about it. There is no accountability. Staff can treat customers any kind of way without any consequences. I hate to write negative reviews, but this company has pushed me to this point

Sears is known for their quality tools and offering other household items at a reasonable price. During back to school shopping time the clothing department was crowded and seemed cluttered, but getting the power tools we needed was a breeze and a an associate was very helpful.

The tool area of this store is very disorganized and the wait to check out is slow. Craftsman is not what it used to be, and the customer service isnt either. Do yourself a favor and go to the near by Ace hardware that carries a better selection of Craftsman tools.
