Got a tattoo from Reuban. Gave me a quote upfront which was nice, and stuck to the price even after it went over the time he predicted, which was also cool. But the picture i brought in was a picture of the tattoo on someone else and the actual tattoo was slightly skewed and when i said i wanted that tattoo i guess he just went to the computer, enlarged the picture and traced over it as is. Which i only noticed after it was done and less swollen. Checking the picture i gave confirmed this. He also changed the design without asking me before hand. I only noticed after hed already gone over the altered part. When i said that wasnt part of the original tattoo design i asked for, he told me he knew and that hed "made it better". So hed altered the design to his liking without telling me but hadnt bothered to draw the actual tattoo from the picture i gave him. When i called a month or so later to get my free touch up done, i received no response from him. The shop is nice, and the tattoos are definitely good looking, if pricey. Cant recommend that artist though. Its pure luck that i dont mind his changes to it or the slightly wonky symmetry. Still would have liked what i asked for originally though.

Got my first tattoo today. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The studio was clean and all the staff were professional. The artist, Jacob, was open to my design and to discussing changes I wanted. He sketched several different prototypes and seemed determined to get what I wanted, regardless of the minor changes I requested. If I decide to get another tattoo, I wouldnt go anywhere else. Nice location and cool looking place. I got a tattoo from Reuban I think was his name. It was WAY over priced and he told me the price after I got it, it was a small solid black tattoo. He told me in 2 weeks to call and set up a time to come get it touched up for free, Ive called and emailed a ton with no reply, really poor customer service. The tattoo healed very poorly due to his heavy hand, and it looks like it was colored in with pen (lots of scratchy lines and amateur shading) if the tattoo was at least decent id be happy but Ill have to go somewhere else and pay to get it fixed since he isnt a man of his word. Save yourself the trouble and go to Aces, artists there care about art and customers not money.

The staff and is polite and professional. Their prices run on the higher end, but for justified reasons. All the artists are very talented in color, realism, technique, and attention to detail. If you wanted a well crafted investment in body art that will last you a lifetime then I would hands down recommend Dark Ages. Side note: they have one of the coolest locations. Located downtown Denton in a historic building with awesome victorian style interior decor. Not just another shady hole in the wall tattoo parlor.

Frank Sanchez did my French cross black n gray. I asked him to make kind of an isometric view and make it appear as is if its floating. Shading is ridiculously sick and the whole experience was awesome. He took the time to understand and was patient with me as it was my first tat. I fell asleep during the outline. lol Highly recommend this place to go and get some ink.

Amazing work, clean environment, and friendly staff. I think I found my new favorite tattoo parlor! Brad did perfect job rendering exactly what I wanted. He even took the time to perfect the problem at hand and go above and beyond as an artist. Thank you so much for everything! I will be recommending this studio highly and will personally be coming back for more.

Got my first tattoof there. Artist was Sinclair. I asked the artist if she had a book to show her work. She said she was visiting and didnt have one. TATTOO WAS NOTHING like I requested. Asked to have it fixed. Manager ignored my request. Had to go to another tattoo artist to fix it. Shame that my first tattoo was a negative experience!!

Honestly the best tattoo Ive ever seen. Got mine done by Eddie and was an amazing experience. It was a pretty long wait before actually getting my tattoo, but was totally worth it. Price is also high, but it is worth it if you want a quality piece. Best decision Ive ever made. Worth ever second and every penny.

I love my tattoo, it looks great! It was done by Brad, and he customized the design to how I wanted it, and used the perfect colors. He was a little heavy-handed, and I have a lot of water and plasma coming out from ruptured skin cells, but I am taking care of it well and it still looks great. Thanks Brad!
