I did my research like anyone should when getting a tattoo, this one was my first so I wanted it done right. Ive misplaced the guy who ended up giving me my tattoos name, but Austin quoted me at $60 for a tattoo of 3 dice on my left wrist the time I visited them before I got my tattoo. Keep in mind the size of these dice were about a nickel each. Anyways, after I show up one Saturday evening a week or so later when it was dead slow to get my tattoo (they told me since it was so small I could just walk in), I told them the original quote and they told me they could now do it for no less than $140. Seeing as how it was a struggle enough to find parking on a Saturday night on 6th street, I figured what the heck, might as well just get it since Im here now, and its a seemingly easy tattoo. So they draw out the tat, looks good, they throw it on my wrist n start goin at it. Now, for the first half of the tat, things were going and looking well. The second half however was when my tattoo started looking jank. I dont know if the artist had just ingested some drugs/alcohol beforehand, but he started getting real giggly and flustered after he half-assed the rest of my tattoo. Dice are straight lines with slightly rounded edges. Its a square shape, I only wanted the 2-D version of one side of the di. My dice are now rectangular, misshapen, and different sizes from each other. Definitely didnt give out a tip, Im going to get it lasered off and redone by a legit tattoo place, I would not recommend going to this place at all. Even my friend who went with me to get a tattoo herself got charged $120 for a tattoo the size of 3 quarters. Like wtf.

Tattoos are the best kind of hobby: the kinds in which you get to lie down and make someone else do all the work. (Amirite, ladies—no, let’s just let that one go.) I LOVE tattoos, and choosing the perfect artist requires a level of trust and optimism: your artist will be skillful, they will understand and share your particular vision, and, crucially, that at least one of you will to double-check the sketches before committing it to your flesh forever. I chose All Saints Tattoo on 6th Street for all the reasons above and could not have been more blown away by the professionalism, design, cleanliness, respect, and attention-to-detail. Shaun Newman was my rockin’ artist and he took my idea and transformed it to an over-the-top piece of art that exceeded any and all expectations I could have ever wished for. He spent a great deal of time to make sure my upcoming work was perfect before we even started with the needle-- and ensured I was completely happy before the working on my awesome Tradition-style Wonder Woman tattoo. All could not have been accomplished if Shaun- as a true artist- did not have deep pride in his work and a keen eye for attention to detail like he so clearly showed. Im so impressed that I will drive back from San Antonio to Austin for all future appointments.

Tattoos have always been a passion of mine. That being said, I am extremely picky with who will be doing the tattooing. After months of searching and looking through different artists portfolios i came across Austin Taylor and his work. And believe me when i say that his artwork spoke to me on a spiritual level. hahaha. His line work is on point, his shading is top notch, and his artistic imagination is off the charts. I emailed the shop, and got an insanely quick reply, we spoke via email back and forth and he showed courtesy, knowledge, and great customer service. After the fact, i went in and spoke with him in person and his character, just solidified that i did in fact picked the best artist for my needs. I immediately left my deposit and set 3 session appointments. (I hate unfinished tats, so i was in there every 2 weeks finishing up). And now i can say with the utmost excitement that Austin has done my favorite tat on my body. (so far!!! hahaha). I deff recommend Austin, and i deff recommend All Saints Tattoo for any tattooing you might be thinking about. But enough of that. look at the pictures. look at that tattoo.... isnt it fcuking amazin!!!!???? yes.... yes it is.... *^*

We LOVE All Saints Tattoo and owner Jon Reed. My husband got his very first tattoo from Jon in 2002 at the Electric Ladyland Tattoo Shop in New Orleans. It was immediately clear that Jon was an amazing tattooer and a all around great guy. On a trip back to New Orleans we had to go see our "friend"; however, he was gone. My husband was so disappointed. Once he found out that Jon had moved to Austin, he immediately booked an appointment. Jon holds a very special place in our hearts and his shop has the most down to earth, friendly, and talented staff that we have ever visited. You will not ever regret a Jon Reed/All Saints tattoo.

I just gotta warn you: Dont go here if youre anti-social or cant take compliments, because lemme tell ya, everyone is going to be asking about your new stellar ink. Seriously, Jon Reeds work will get you laid. And, if youre ever brutally murdered and theres no head or hands, you can bet theyll be able to identify you by that sweet All Saints ink, so do it for your loved ones. If youre looking for some great traditional tattoo artists in Austin, this place is legit. Clean lines, good colors, and some great talent. It pretty much makes up for the fact that you have to go to Dirty 6th to get here.

I have been getting tattooed by Jon Reed for 10 years! He is the best in the biz and has very high standards for himself, his shop and his employees! This ship is clean and full of talent! I would trust any tattooer in there and have referred many people. They are friendly and leave the attitude at the door which is huge for me. Save yourself the struggle of finding someone in a city overrun by run of the mill tattooers and head to All Saints, they will have someone who fits your style and needs! I guarantee you will end up with beautiful work!

Before my first trip to Austin I asked a few artists I know if they could recommend some good traditional artists down there so I didnt have to risk a random spot hoping they would be solid. I was told to check out Jon Reed and his shop All Saints so I booked a session and Ive gone back for more. Super friendly shop from the owner down to the front desk people... no egos... just really solid work. If you want to leave Austin happy with your new ink, look no further.

Jon runs a clean shop along with staffing professional rad artists. Hes my number #1 artist for redoing a lot of 10+ old art, did a phenomenal job with a cover up and is now working on my Sailor Jerry sleeve (which has been pocket book friendly since he runs SJ specials in December). I recommend him or any of his staff for your tattoo habits. Hes even talked me out of some ill advised tats so you know, hes a stand-up guy.

Professional, Affordable, and Beautiful. The 3 things you look for in a Tattoo Studio. I highly recommend these gentlemen and lady. The front desk help, was nice and courteous, I visited 3 shops that night I got my work done at All Saints and lets just say I didnt get the "you are just a tourist" treatment there. Awesome work, and on par with any other place Ive been.
