Went in for a couple of Dydoe piercings and spoke with Dutch. I should have known to leave when he said he was unsure of what type of piercing I was talking about. I showed him a picture and he said sure no problem he could do that. Dutch assured me he had been piercing for over 20 years and that the names of piercings had changed over time which is why he didnt know what I was talking about at first. First piercing went in no problem, 2nd piercing I immediately felt pain and Dutch had to force the end ball onto the curved barbell. Dutch assured me that my body endorphins was were racing on the first piercing but settled down which is why the 2nd piercing hurt so much. This skin was immediately swollen around the 2nd piercing but I just chalked it up to the piercing being fresh and thought that the swelling would go down later. When I got home and looked at the 2nd piercing, I noticed that the piercing had been done crooked and that there was a huge flap of skin folded under the piercing which was causing all the pain. I waiting 2 days and was still in pain so I went back twice and both times was told to take some pain medication and that I needed to speak with Dutch since he pierced me. I gave up and went to see another piercer at another shop and just had both piercings removed and repierced later on at my own expense. So I basically paid $190 for nothing here.

A HUGE thank you to both Atomic and to Andy in particular! I had a great experience here and am definitely going to recommend this place to anyone who needs a piercing!! I went in initially looking to get my industrial re-pierced with a 16g, but they didnt have any barbells in the gauge I was looking for. Andy offered to have one shipped to the store for me and gave me a timeline for it and his info so I could come back and have it done, which was really awesome and accommodating! I ended up changing my mind, though, and went back later hoping to get a triple outer conch piercing instead. Andy inspected my ear and told me honestly that he would try his best to do it, but that there was a nerve running through my ear that he really didnt want to touch since he was worried to might be harmful to pierce near. He managed to pull it off, though, and Im so happy with the results!! Im super appreciative that he not only did a great job, but also took his time to make sure the job was done right and with little difficulty on my part. Thanks again for the awesome piercing!! (Also, as a side note, Andys playlist was pretty sick too. Jammed out the whole time!)

I checked the place out before i decided to get my piercing. The piercer I spoke with wasnt overly friendly or straight up mean. He was a nice balance. I let him know that it would be my first piercing and i asked him what to expect He told me like it was and i greatly respect that. He honestly told me that it was going to hurt and that he didnt really like septum piercings. i was fine with his opinion, but I know some folks like people to keep their personal opinions to themselves. I asked to look around the piercing area and was pleased with the level of organization and cleanliness. When i returned two days later, i received the piercing from a different piercer who was just as friendly and professional. The piercing went very well without any problems. The only thing I was disappointed at was the price i paid. I felt ripped off. I paid $80 for the jewelry and piercing together......Otherwise Atomic tattoo would have received five stars.

I visited Atomic Tattoo almost 3 weeks ago to discuss buying jewelry and having a piercing Gauged up. I have 7 tattoos and 1 piercing from shops where I went to college in Savannah, GA, So im familiar with how shops work and what constitutes good service. I was referred to the shop owner, who discussed the piercing with me and said hed have to order my jewelry. Okay, cool. A week later I still havent heard from him, so i call, and Im told hes out of town. A week later I call, and get him on the phone and he says he hasnt had time to order my jewelry. A week after that I call again, and get his personal email, which I emailed on Monday and still havent heard a reply. If they dont want to serve me, they dont get my business. And they probably dont deserve yours either.

My parents trusted this place enough to bring me for piercings two different times. My mom also got a piercing. So, naturally they brought me back to change out my nose jewelry (my mom changed hers too). It was a struggle for the piercer to get the hoop in and after wearing it a while it was getting more and more uncomfortable (its too snug). I called to ask if they could fit me with a bigger one and they said, they normally dont and ultimately it would be up to the piercer. He said the piercer was still there and I could go in to see what he thought. I asked if he would be there tomorrow (my parents cant take me back tonight), he said, no I would have to go tonight if I wanted to do anything about it. They dont care. Its a done deal to them.

I usually get pierced at Atomic Tattoo. Service is quick, clean but its a little on the pricey side. I spent $30 or so on a normal cartilage piercing and like $75 on an industrial a few years back. Finally, I got my first tattoo here recently when I turned 18. Its about the size of my palm and it was $150. I didnt want to spend over that amount. My tattoo artist, Lily, was so awesome. She had a gentle hand and was easy to talk to. The colors are vibrant and its the prettiest tattoo ever. My mom is getting the same one done by her soon. For a first tattoo this was a great experience and I will defiantly go back to this location.

Overall awesome experience with Atomic Tattoo. Mike, my tattoo artist, did an awesome job. Greeted me promptly as a walk in, worked with me on my design for my tattoo while actually listening to what I wanted and didnt judge me because i didnt have any visible tattoos (even though i do have a few just cant see them). I gave him some free reign to the design where he could add his touch and it turned out better than I had hoped! Mike was a very nice guy unlike other typical tattoo artist stereotypes ive worked with in the past at other tattoo parlors. I will be going back to Atomic Tattoo for my future ink without a doubt!

Cameron Cliche is one of the best tattoo artist Ive ever gotten ink from. I have sleeves on both arms. Great artist his work is amazing and is always willing to take time to talk about tattoo ideas. Been getting tattoos for over 18 years one of the best experiences Ive ever had. Would recommend Atomic Tattoo and Cameron to anyone wanting a tattoo in Austin. Ive gotten tattoos in Chicago, Houston, Miami and many other major tattoo cities and this is one of the best shops Ive ever found. I drive six hours just to have Cameron do my tattoos. Great artist
