This place really is the worst. There was a time when I considered it the GameStop killer, because they made a point in competing, and had great service. Now, their store policy seems to be alienating customers, almost as though GameStop pays them under the table to convince customers that GS is the better option of the two. One visit, we went in to trade in a PS3. They took down our number and said they would call us when a decision has been made by their trade-in department. Over 2 hours later, after doing grocery shopping, getting lunch, just trying to think of ways to pass the time, we go back and ask what the hold up is. "Were not going to accept this for trade." Which is cool, as their reason was valid, but the guy told us it took them about 10 minutes to come to the conclusion. Absolute incompetence. Second time I tried dealing with them, I called to get a trade-in value on a game. "We dont give quotes over the phone. You have to come into the store." Uh, what? The website has a "most wanted games list" that lists about 10 games per console, and they dont have a problem giving us those quotes outside of the store. You think a policy like this is going to convince customers to go to the store? Its not. If my two options are "go to GameStop and trade game in, already found trade-in value online" or "go to Entertainmart to see if they give the same amount or $.50 more, then decide if Im going to trade the game in or go with option one at GameStop", anyone who values their time is going to skip this dying company. I remember back when Entertainmart was booming. Then one day I went to the Arlington store, and it was a gutted, pathetic version of its former self. I wonder why! Hopefully Dallas is not far behind. As negatively as people view GameStop, I hope the owner of E-mart sees this: GameStop is factually better than you. Im going to join everyone who once frequented your Arlington store in the "Forgets Entertainmart exists" club. You should just get rid of all your inventory, fire all your terrible employees, and just put the locations of nearby GameStops on your door. It will accomplish the same result youre already reaching, and is much, much cheaper.

Since it opened, this store has been one of the best kept secrets in Dallas. Thousands of rare and hard to find vinyl LPs, DVDs and one of the few places where you can buy used copies of new video game releases shortly after they are released. Ive probably spent $10,000 at this store since they opened a few years ago. As far as customer service is concerned, the quality of service varies by shift. How do I know this? I worked there for a while as a second job to support my addiction to buying vinyls, DVDs, CDs and video games. They mostly had me stocking the shelves, but someitmes I interacted with customers. There is literally a night and day difference between the shifts. One shift abuses customers, complains about life and acts rude, while the other is friendly and finds ways to help the customers. The employees receive very little training in customer service, but the standards are different for each shift. Many stores who sell music are known for having rude, all-knowing employees who are total music snobs, but that is no excuse for any business. For that reason, I docked Entertainmart to a rating of 2/Very Good on Service. For quality, I rate Entertainmart a 3, which is the highest. I have never had a problem with items purchased at the store. For Appeal, I gave Entertainmart a rating of 3, which is Excellent. Everything is well-organized and you could literally spend a day shopping as there are so many treasures waiting to be discovered in the store. Overall, I would probably never work there again, unless I would be on duty with the good crew. As a customer, I intend to shop at Entertainmart for the rest of my life or as long as they continue to sell rare and out of print video games, game consoles and vinyl records. As should be done when shopping in any used store, make sure to check each item for surface scratches or any visible damages and you should have no problems.

I officially hate this store location, compared to the Arlington store. I didnt want to say hate Entertainmart all together, because theyve been good too me for 4 years and counting. But Ive never met so many arrogant and self-centered employees, than I have at this location. The location is in a bad spot, due to tons of construction and you have a few lights to go through once your out of the traffic. So Wednesday, I drive there leaving my house which is 51 minutes away. And I have over 3 different exits blocked due to night construction. So I get detoured and stop and go traffic for 1 hour 48 minutes, until Im finally able to get back on 635 and get to Preston Exit. Store closes at 11pm, I walk in at 10:13pm with 3 Xbox One games to trade for cash, because I need to get some food and medicine for someone sick at home. The guy behind the counter screams over to me that they dont take buys an hour before closing. I explain to him its just 3 games and Ive been in road construction for almost 2 hours trying to get here. He says,"he doesnt care and its store policy!" Ive never heard of such bull in my life, Ive worked retail for almost 6 years at the #2 top electronics store in America and we would never turn business down like that. Especially when there are 4 employees there and two customers in line. One of those guys could have took that buy, there were only us 3 customers in the store and 2 were buying! This store officially sucks to me and I cant believe the arrogant and rude attitude he had talking to me and wouldnt even look me in my face while talking to me. Im 37 years old and I look like a teenager, even if I look young, you dont treat any young or older adult or human like that. #Disrespected Will do my business in Arlington and just take the extra miles.

I first started going to this entertainmart when one of my friends showed it to me, which was about 4 years ago. It was awesome, but since then it has gone down hill. As soon as they opened the one off of central I started going to that one, but now its closing and I had to go to this one. Ive never had a problem with selling games here before. But this past time, the employee was rude. Not only did he tell me my account was blocked because I sold them too many of their top wanted games, so I asked if they could use my husband drivers licence instead and he was like "well are these your games or his games." Were married they are OUR games, it shouldnt matter whos games they are...finally he was like ok I can do it. Starts looking at our games and was picking out ones that had supposedly "scratches" on them which were just mere finger prints. I cleaned them off myself and he then accepted them. Then at one point when we were selling our pokemon ds games he started going off on how he hates pokemon and how theyre annoying. Excuse me, but we bought these games because we like them, its rude to tell a customer you hate something youre buying from them. This entertainmart is not the only one that I had customer service issues with before the one off of Central, one of the employees had the nerve to tell us that the band on my brothers t-shirt sucked. Rude, rude, rude. I will NEVER shop or sell to Entertainmart again. I was a very frequent customer there and they lost me. I will be taking my money to Movie Trading Co. where the employees are friendly and VERY helpful. It wont surprise me if this one soon goes out of business following the one off Central.
