I have been a customer for years but I have gotten tired of the practice of holding customers hostage for nearly an hour when you want to sell something to them. What is the big deal if I grab lunch while you work up an offer HP? Scared Im going to run off and leave you with a pile of books? Makes no sense to inconvenience your customers.

One of my favorite places to get lost and kill some time. Piles and piles of books in all genres and all reasonably priced (most of the time half priced). Their service staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Great place to pick up that missing series book in your collection.

This HPB isnt huge but it still has a solid selection of books. I bring a list of about 10 books and can usually find half of the ones Im looking for at a reasonable price. Ive found some really good prices on hardcovers by methodically combing through the fiction section.

Went to one store for my nursing book, they side it was say another store. They said they would hold it for 48 hours. I go and its the wrong book! Then i had them look for the correct one. The computer said its there but no one can find it!!

One of my favorite places. Service at this Half Price is better than other ones Ive been in. Not a bad philosophy section considering the location (nothing can beat the old Half Price that used be on Guadalupe near to UT though).

I like this location a lot. They are a decent size and have lots of foreign language kids books. My daughter always screams and runs around (shes almost two) but weve never been kicked out and always find some new fun books.

So many great books and a great price. The best thing is the inventory is always changing. They keep the books well organized and you can go back to your favorite section and look for new books.

This is a newer location. Its a typical Half Price Books. I wish they had more variety as the other locations but it is a smaller space. It was hard to find assistance as well.
