I have been to this store several times buying and selling and have had wonderful experiences every single time. The staff will go out of their way to find a book for you, even having it transferred from another store for free! I have been enjoying being able to buy new best sellers there too. I still love my kindle, but dollar paperbacks and $3. DVDs are tough to beat. Also, my BF buys a lot of graphic novels from there and sells them back when he is done. It has become a waaaaay cheaper habit (his collecting) than it once was. I have always loved half Price Books, but they have grown up and are better than ever!

This Half Priced Books while smaller than the rest is definitely one of my favorites. The employees were very helpful as I walked in with all my children. We had trouble finding a particular series of books and was immediately offered assistance with a smile. One of my children decided it was time to throw a tantrum and my cashier was superb. She was empathic, cheerful and even disclosed their Sunday book reading for kids. I was offered help outside by the storyteller and overall given a wonderful experience. I would definitely go back!

I love Half Price Books but this one doesnt do very much for me; its good none the less but this location feels more sterile than the others. Book selection feels limited and the music section is rather lacking. Good if you check their stock beforehand if you are looking for something in particular, but if youre just browsing I recommend sparing the extra trip to one of their Lamar locations.

The store is spacious and very clean. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all media on hand. Their child book area is nicely laid out and designed to be comfortable and inviting to children. The store is well-kept, well-organized, and the displays are interesting and orderly.

A little smaller than your average HPB, so the selection is a little lacking. Its close to the movie theater though, so its a fun place to stop in if youre waiting for something to start.

This is one of the newer Half Price Books stores. It had a fantastic selection of books, DVDs and games etc. I got a book and a couple of movies and will definitely be back.

This is one of the medium size Half Price Books, however they have had every book that I went looking for. I love the variety of books at very reasonable prices.

I thought this location was going to be different but I was wrong . It needs a little more selection like North Lamar and South Lamar not like Anderson Mill.
