Where the simplicity is there, the bookstore has strange return policies. I rented a book and then realized it had water damage, the person behind the desk said it would be fine, then when I went to return the book, they rejected it due to water damage. Also, they wont allow payment over phone or even have an online pay for rentals feature. I rented a book from Bevos (next door) and they were far better with return policies.

This place is the most amazing bookstore ever. I know why Ive avoided it all these year--its because I want to buy everything here. Its a teacher haven. They have anything and everything you could ever possibly want to buy in terms of resources and materials. I love that if you pay with cash or a check you get a 15% discount. You can also open a house account which will give you the same discount. I know Ill be back .

Staff is helpful when you are looking for stuff, hours become odd later in the school year. They offer an okay pricing for buybacks. It seemed to be slightly more than the other book store around the corner when I compared prices, but of course the prices online are always better. Its good in a tight bind when you need a book right away. The usually have a good amount of used books to choose from.

Ive spent some semesters at ACC, changing and re-changing my major... But throughout each class Ive had- if I cant find a book elsewhere, they usually have it here. And the staff is always helpful. Just when I start believing Ive missed my chance, they find what Im looking for. And usually its used so I dont have to pay full price.

Ive used them in the past when I was enrolled and came in to look for a book and ask a question and the customer service sucked. If I were new to the campus and program, I wouldnt want to be helped by those there today. Great facility, mediocre staff.

Friendly staff, buy its the only college bookstore Ive been to where the staff wants to hold your hand (not literally) all through the store. Can I please just do it myself?
