GEEK SQUAD/BEST BUY GEEK SQUAD CORRUPTED AND/OR LOST 6 YEARS OF BUSINESS DATA!!!! NEVER EVER USE THIS SERVICE!!!! I am a small business owner of 6 years. I took my Lenovo all in one computer and Seagate external Hard Drive to Best Buy Geek Squad for minor repair of the computer. 4 DAYS later I received a call my computer was ready. When I returned to the store to pick up my computer, I was told my computer had a a new OS and the HDD was "corrupted" at some point during the repair process with ABSOLUTELY, NO BACK UP of ANY my DATA. Which, I paid to have happen. says they dont have to protect data and there is nothing they can do except send both drives in for a forensic search of the HDDs which will cost ME $500.00 to have completed. How is GS going to keep anybody safe from "technological evil" when they are the EVIL@! Desperate for a resolution, customer service and apology! Like · Comment · Share · 13 Vanessa D. Very clean and new looking. Appeared to have recently had a wheelchair accessible concrete entrance put in. Very nice looking, wide, and smooth with a good and gradual grading up leading into the store. The man thats there wen u first go in that appears to be there to direct customers upon first entering the store was not very knowledgeable, not very helpful, nor acted in a manner that gave me the impression he wanted to assist me in my questions. Fortunately a clerk who had had the same issue as me was able to assist me and provide the information I was needing. If it hadnt been for him I would have had to waste more time in search of answers to my question, probably would have gotten frustrated, and wouldnt have been as pleasant an experience as it ended up being. That doorman needs to be schooled not only on what information he needs to be aware of but also on how to smile and appear accommodating. Hed make a good security guard though.

I would recommend Best Buy in Cedar Hill especially in the Appliances Department. I had some difficulty with the refrigerator I purchased from Best Buy being delivered damaged more than once, but Anna Gutierrez who is the manager there is customer service oriented and went above and beyond to rectify the problem. If you purchase an appliance I would ask for her by name. I also received help from Graham Castle who doesnt work at the actual store but is more on the operational side and when he learned of my difficulty he made a personal visit to my home to make sure my appliance delivery when smooth. Yes, I had some hiccups, but everyone worked as a team to make sure I was a happy customer at the end.

I returned a product I bought yesterday. The product was originally purchased online ( debit card). Went into this location returned the item and the associate stated the funds be credited to my account yesterday ( Friday). Well thats not the case. I checked my account this morning and no refund credited. I contacted the phone number listed on the receipt and the representative tells me that it takes 24 hrs to process the refund request then 3-5 days for it be credited to your account. My thing is it didnt take them 3-5 days to take the money for the purchase, but I have to wait 3-5 days for a refund thats bullshit and I will not be returning to best buy everrrrr!!!!

Normally I would give best buy at least a 4 but I am a truck driver and have to be leaving out at 10 this morning to get to my pick up by 11. I have a Samsung Galaxy gear fit watch and it will not completely turn on . It turns on and off and on and off I brought it to Best Buy to see if they could tell me what was wrong with it and possibly get a replacement, unfortunately this store does not open until 10 a.m. when I have to be leaving. I am very disappointed. Why do you guys open after everyone else is already at work?

Geek squad customer service is terrible wasted two hours of my day for nothing they did nothing complained to manager who acted like he would work things out twenty minutes later nothing. I walked out of store never coming back here again. Arlington and Hurst stores much better as I have never had an issue at best buy before. So after wasting two hours will have to go to another best buy, this is the last extended warranty I ever buy from best buy wasted time not worth the hassle .

Recently had a minor issue with a purchase I made online to be picked up at this location. I spoke with store manager Greg Leavell, and he took care of the issue in a timely and very satisfactory manner. Just wanted to give credit where credit is due. Customer service sometimes means going out of your way to make a shopper happy, and thats just what Greg did. I appreciate him and will continue to shop at his store location, as I have for the past several years.

I ordered online and went to pick up at the Cedar Hill location. The In-Store pickup customer service was not professional at all. The African American lady is okay, but she seems to be getting the push over. The Caucasian girl had some issues - very bad experience with her. She would call for the next customer and mid-sentence send some of us away to repeat what details we were giving to her colleague. Not sure what her problem is, she seemed too erratic to us.

The geek squad was great. But needed to return a lap top After spending over 500 dollars on a lap top that broke after 34 days... 4 days past time.... The a hole manager just stood there and said nope,cant do it. Mail it back. Not even Im sorry this happen. So there fore best buy cedar hill.... Your manager on duty on 7/24 at 2pm. Sucks! Your whole place sucks! Never again will I spend money there. Wal mart would have been better.

I bought a laptop there and had the worst experience. I waited 3 hours, was very polite, and got nothing for my time. I wanted an exchange or some sort of discount due to buying a defaulty laptop. The store manager did nothing to help us. He kept me waiting for 2 hours and would not see me. If you are trying to buy something , youll have a hard time exchanging. Good luck trying to talk to the manager too.
