I would like to save as many people the drive to this place. When I called to ask if they could rebuild my final drive on an r1200gs they said it would be around $2500 "you just need to buy a new one" is what they said. Incredibly confused I called up the Austin bmw dealer the very nice service member said they rebuild them all the time and it would cost me.... get ready $300. Also on a previous service they charged me $145 to torque down a bolt I pointed out. Their excuse for this was well the technitian had to find the bolt on the bike. Really now?? so the fact that it was visibly leaking and super accessible justified $145. Save your money and time and just take your bike to Austin much better service.

I have been an Alamo BMW customer since 2002, when I found the shop after being lied to by the San Antonio BMW dealer. Kermit worked on my car and let me know it would be safe to drive to Dallas and what my options were, when I got back. He didnt charge me to check it and run the diagnostics and kindly explained everything. They have always had the best customer service and never try to push more repairs than you need. I just sold my BMW they have serviced for years and it had 250k miles on it and was running great! This is a honest quality company, that will have our business for life.

This shop needs to post a new picture of their place without the Triumph logo. They no longer sell Triumphs. If you want one, go to Austin, Tx. And while you are at it, tell BMW to start making the older R65/R85/R90/R1000 again with the boxer engine. Maybe not all 4, but you get the drift. Todays BMWs look like moto-cross bikes. There are a ton of older guys who would jump all over an R65 if available. Not everyone wants a Harley. Wake up BMW!

The worst service EVER. Dont subject yourself to this place in particular. I went in last fall to buy a motorcycle, and was treated like a second class citizen. Couldnt even test drive the bike because, I was told, "We dont know you..." Plus I had to insure the bike to TEST DRIVE IT. So ridiculous. I could go on, but they dont care!! BMW lost a customer in me because they really do not care about their customer service.

I’ve come out here several times and my experience has always been fantastic. Every member of the staff was nice and helpful. I don’t think that there are many mechanics in this town with the knowledge and expertise those guys bring to the table. Im definitely going to be making the drive back to Alamo BMW Motorcycles! On top of that they have such an exciting Go Kart Track.. Loved this place, good value for your money.

Following up with Dave Funk, Many shops no longer allow test rides on motorcycles at all. Those that do allow test rides will generally require you to have a motorcycle endorsement on your license AND a motorcycle insurance policy that is current. If you dont have an endorsement or an active cycle policy,...then I cant imagine a shop would let you ride,....they would be foolish to do so. BC

The worst. Long time rider, first time buyer. I bought a brand new 2016 bike. Bike was in the shop for more than a week after one day of riding. I voiced my disappointment but it went unheard. The whole buying experience was ruined and once they have your money, they dont care. I will not buy from this place ever again.

If I could put 10+ stars I would. By far the best experience I have ever had!!! Hal is the best ever and had an answer to every question I had with zero pressure on buying anything. He even was able to deliver my motorcycle on a trailer to my house far across town. Dont waste your time with any other dealerships.

These folks are fantastic. Hal was great and very helpful with describing the bike and giving me some options both new and some of the other bikes for sale. If you are looking for a great place to buy a BMW motorcycle this place is first class. Highly recommend!

They treat you as if they are a used car dealership and you may not be "worthy" of any assistance in buying a BMW. Service took 4 hours to fix a warranty item with 1.5 hours of time according to manual.
