Purchased my first motorcycle from Cycle Rider and very happy so far! Everyone on the staff is friendly and from when I first walked through the front door I never once felt like somebody was just trying to get me to buy something before walking out. I visited two other bike shops before Cycle Rider and at both places I felt like their people were more concerned with seeing me walk out with any bike than that it be the "right" one for me. Prior to coming in, I did lots of research on my own for which bike I wanted. Worked with Murray in selecting the right bike. His recommendations were right in line with all that I researched and he was very helpful in narrowing down the right bike for me. They had a great selection of used bikes, better than any other place around San Antonio. I will definitely be coming back to Cycle Rider for my next bike, as well as any future maintenance needs that arent simple DIY tasks. Thanks Murray and Mary for making the first bike purchase so easy and enjoyable!

Ive been a Cycle Rider customer for years and I knew theyve always supported our first responders. So when the Fund Run for Julio Cavazos came up, I immediately thought Will, Murray and Mary could help. I came and spoke with Murray about posting an 8x10 flier, but got much more than I expected. Within a half hour Mary had transformed my plain flyer into a very nice post on the web site. When anyone looks at the Cycle Rider web page, the first thing they see is this huge full page flier for Julio. It was way more than I had hoped. With Cycle Riders help, we had probably two hundred riders for the event and it was a complete success. Id like to thank Murray, Mary and Will and all of Cycle Rider for their historical and continued support of first responders, including Scott Deem and Julio. This is the type business that makes a community great. Im sure I speak for all of us at SAPD and our brother at Fire when I say these efforts are greatly appreciated. Than you Will Johnson

I went I to shop for my first bike, ever. I have recently achieved my license and was ready for my bike. As I looked through the inventory I was already dead set on the blue yamaha vstar 250. I figured thats what I tested on so I am comfortable with that. Started to take to Murray and he gave me some sage advise. The Shadow 600. I was hesitant. After weeks of dilberation I took that advise. Today I have my bike and went for a ride. Murray was dead on. I am still comfortable and I am in love with my bike. But dont think its just the advice thats worthy, every single person I dealt with during the purchasing process was amazing!!!! Mary being up front with all information and juSt sooo nice. They really make you feel like family. I thank you for allowing me the honor to do business with you. I am a customer for life!! Oh, lol my wife wants one now too. So we will see you soon for too. Thank you all!!! And they only 5 stars you deserve more.

I recently went to Cycle Rider for the first time after a bad experience at another (Cycle Plex in the Alamo area) where I was told that something that I was certain was a simple mechanical problem would cost somewhere between $96 to look at and up to $800 to fix! After explaining to the very polite young man at C/R what I had been told at the other place, he looked at me kind of funny and said that what I was told didn’t sound right and wanted to look at it for himself. After paying $125 at C/R for a Synthetic oil change and him explaining what he found wrong with my M109r and what he did to fix those 2 (SIMPLE MECHANICAL PROBLEMS,) I can easily say that Cycle Rider will be the guys working on my machine from now on!

I was interested in purchasing a motorcyle from cycle rider. I called at 9 am on a Tuesday told the sales man i wanted to purchase the bike and that i was driving in from macallen and would be there at 2 pm. He said ok the bike was aviable and to come on in. I drove for 3.5 hrs and got there early. On my arrival the same salesman told me he had taken a deposit and the bike was not avalible. I wasted 8 hrs 108 dollars in fuel and 22 dollars in trailer rental. Be careful if you try to do business with them. I would have given deposit on the phone at 9 am if he would have told me it was needed. I dont not appreciate thier business ethics

Was searching for a particular bike for a while, and just so happened to find one at Cycle Rider. I am so glad we did, the staff is excellent! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful gentlemen behind the service counter, Murray (sales) was great! We drove from Houston to see the bike, everything was done very quickly and and with me in mind the whole time. Even a quick battery change before we started our trip back home. HIGHLY recommend checking out Cycle Rider if you are in the market for a new (or used) bike.Was worth our drive, and will definitely return for service like that once again!

Sales staff did a great job in assisting me to find my next bike. Murry showed me only bikes in my price range and was not your typical pushy salesman. I found a bike I could not live with out and when I found it was out of my intended price range Murry continued to only show those bike I had originally priced. It came down to my pushing myself into that awesome VTX1800N2. I will send everyone I know here to buy a bike. Great service, great people, and very easy to deal with. Wonderful Honda Gold Wing, Sales, Business, and Service. Murray was patient and very helpful. Bought a seat back and they installed for me at no cost, thank you! The only I guess negative is no test rides are allowed unlike all other dealers I dealt with in looking for a Gold Wing. Although they did offer to cancel the deal within the first half hour if I didnt like it, but I would not have wanted to test that verbal statement after the closing. If you can do without a test ride, this family owned place is good place to do business.

bought 3 bikes xlr xlv cbr sold him back all and moved up.. Will and Steve are like family... Will once found a bike i wanted and ask almost nothing for price ..i reigned cause it was too tall. still friends, i will by my next bike or sell him another. lots of street, cruisers,and dressers some high end dirt not much kid bikes.

Great purchasing experience. Salesman Murray Good did a great job, was very patient with me and my many questions! The rest of the crew was helpful and super friendly as well. Low key and not high pressure like some the the shops in SA. Have not used the service shop as of yet, but expect it to be top notch.
