I had purchased a V Rod HD for the price of $8000 at first the experience was great BUT.... My intent was to purchase the motorcycle and put ape hangars on this bike. When I was introduced to the departments with excitement I had in formed both the parts and service department of my goal and of course the sales people that they are listened to my plan with smiles. The very next day I called to purchase the bars from Demon customs and was informed that if I wanted to do this for this type of bike it was a very expensive "Custom" job. I then called Harley parts and service and the exact same guys who were smile NOW became subject matter expert telling me how expensive this was going to be. Funny they could not tell me this the day prior when I purchased the bike, oh wait its sales. I contacted my salesman and explained the situation and informed me to bring the bike back and we could work something out. I found a motorcycle and according to them this was the bottom line price with NO wiggle room. Wee when I looked over my paperwork it was awesome to see that the $8000 bike I purchased less than 48 hours later less than 15 miles was no only worth $6000. so they sold me a bike that I could not do what I wanted, No deal on the new one and stuck me with an additional $2000 when there was no wiggle room. So I could have been in my price range if they didnt "Put it to Me". I understand I did not have to take the newer bike but it was either keep the bike I could do nothing with, get one with around 40000 miles or take the "Punch to the Face" and get the current bike. I guess they were not to military friendly in my case. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Buyer beware!!!!!

I worked in sales in the motorcycle industry at both retail dealership and OEM levels. Ive bought dozens of new bikes of all makes, models, types and displacements from dealers all over the country the last 25 years or so. When I buy a bike, I know in advance both the numbers that work for my wallet as well as for the dealership to be profitable (consumers are much better served by financially healthy dealerships...). After an unbelievably ignorant and frankly insulting sales experience with my local dealer, I called Cowboy Harley Davidson and spoke with Tim in sales. I told him right up front about my past industry background, and that I did not want to waste their time if they couldnt make the numbers work to their satisfaction as well. I had a 15 BMW R1200RT for trade on a 17 Street Glide Special. I did a ton of research, spoke with some of my dealer contacts, and told Tim exactly where the numbers needed to be for me to make the deal. I texted him pics and info on my trade, gave him the OK to submit the financing application, and they made the deal happen in less than 3 hours - on the phone, and without even looking at my trade in person - at an even lower number than I proposed. So from now on, Ill be riding the extra 35 miles to not only completely stay away my local dealer but moreover to do all my street bike business with Cowboy Harley Davidson. Why? Because they listen to their customers, and they can be trusted.

My spouse and I drove 45 miles past two other Harley Dealers up from San Antonio to look at a bike. After finding the bike not exactly to my expectations, Tommy worked with us and pointed out a few bikes within our price range and ended up buying a 2014 Electra-Glide. All I can say about the bike is "Wow". Tommy and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, from the financing, making sure we had the insurance covered, servicing little glitches and issues before delivery to make our purchase easy and enjoyable. We purchase the bike at closing on a Thursday night and Im sure everyone there was ready to go home. The bike was ready by 10 AM the next morning. The Service Department prepped the bike, fixed the front vent on the cowl, washed the bike and even changed out the brake fluid reservoir covers that were starting to show signs of spilt brake fluid peeling the paint on them. Tommy made sure I had my owners manuals that were missing, saddle bag inserts, and the speakers and mikes for the intercom system. In my opinion Tommy went above and beyond our expectations. I dont know what these guys get paid, but it cant be enough (an no. I am not related to them) We had more problems buying a washer and dryer than we did our bike. I think Ive found a home away from home. I just wish you guys were a little closer.

“Ive had a lot of dealings with Cowboy, 3 new bikes in 5 years, and Ive always had great experiences purchasing from salespeople at Cowboy, first with Bigby, last year with Tommy and most recently Mastin. In short, my experiences have been overwhelmingly positive. Case in point - I recently traded a 2014 Streetglide for a 2015 Streetglide Special and Mastins service was nothing short of awesome. Took several test rides, and when I decided on the Special, he took care of every detail, including swapping quite a few parts from 14 to 15, and I rode the new scoot home. He continues to treat me well on every return visit, asking about the new ride, and just talking riding and motorcycles in general. Great guy to buy from! More recently, I had a great experience with Michelle and the guys in the service dept as well. My repairs after a collision were very well done. Every promise met. Perfect job in every respect. Had to wait on parts but that is to be expected. Even Motorclothes does an awesome job. Looking in back for things not yet out on the shelves, spending time with me picking out the right gift for the lady, and birthday presents for my son. I go to a lot of HD dealerships when out riding and while most Ive been to are good, Cowboy stands out in every respect. I recommend Cowboy to all I know. Keep up the good work! ”

It is rare that I write a bad review on any site, but today I felt the need to do just that with Cowboy Harley. First, I want to say that my sales rep, Larry was great. He was nice, did everything right. But my bad review is the dealership as a whole. I bought the bike just a few weeks ago (3, literally) and the bike has 191 miles and has NO blemishes. My brother wrecked his Harley, and given that I have a little girl I have just gotten to where I think it is best that I sell my bike. I figured, since it was so new I would ask them to buy it back from me. Knowing, of course, I would take a hit because of tax, title, license, and a certain amount of depreciation. However, I was shocked to hear that Cowboy Harley would NOT even offer me a penny back for the bike, telling me instead that they have no use for it. It is pretty sad when a Harley Dealership wont even make an offer to buy back one of their own bikes - even at a seriously reduced price... for a brand new bike with 191 miles on it. Also, my brother who wrecked his bike.. wont be buying his new one from Cowboy. His sales rep, much worst, actually told my brother that it is too bad he lost his down payment and that it was his fault for "hitting the curb".. callous. He said he was "joking".. poor taste at the very least. Not happy with Cowboy Harley.
