Ive had problems with poor service at this shop literally since the day I bought my bike (it stalled on me the day I got it- turns out they forgot to remap the motor as part of the pre-sale checkup). Now, I just got back from a trip I had to cancel midway through because I was having issues with my motorcycle stalling after taking it to the shop for a routine tune up. Turns out the mechanics forgot to tighten my battery terminal. Had I not caught that, I could have spent a fortune towing it from the other side of the state. Not to mention the danger of my bike stalling on the highway repeatedly. Prior to that, I had my bike in the shop for *over 30 days* because supposedly they couldnt get a hold of a part. When I finally called Piaggio myself, they had the part in the shop overnight. Then when I got the bike back, they had forgotten to change a tire that was part of the service request. I waited around for them to quickly fix their mistake. Then when I got the bike back, it turns out they had broken my brake and scratched my header. Unbelievable. Time after time this shop has been a supreme disappointment. Unfortunately its the only Moto Guzzi dealership in the Austin area. Nonetheless, I dont recommend you go if you can avoid it. If the service is any sign, I recommend you avoid buying your bike here either.

I bought my 2017 Aprilia RSV4 RF for a great price from Jon, one of the owners, with absolutely no haggling or hassling. Ive since received world class service from Brent, the head of the shop, who has gone way out of his way to ensure the bike is always right. I cant say enough good things about this place. Its no nonsense, no sales pitches, no BS, and these guys seemingly know Aprilia better than the guys who build them over in Italy. Ive been riding 34 years now and have bought several high end bikes from various dealers over the years and Ive never had such a delightful experience as Ive had from AF1. I ordered several aftermarket parts from them as well, including the race ECU, as well as frame sliders, and they were priced right and arrived in a timely fashion. If you go elsewhere, youve done yourself a tremendous disservice.

AF1 is a fantastic motorcycle shop. These guys know their stuff and are very professional. The purchasing process is very straightforward, no smoke and mirrors here. But its the quality of the service and attention to detail after the sale that really sets them apart. Theyre so good I think Id actually lean towards the brands they sell knowing Ill enjoy the bike more over its life with AF1 supporting it. The service department is stellar in terms of knowledge, execution, and customer service. If you are interested in the brands they sell youre quite lucky to live in Austin because you wont find a better motorcycle dealership in the country.

Greg Swantek is one of the best bike mechanics you can find. Anywhere! Ive used him for many years at other places. You can trust him to diagnose and repair any issues, honestly and reasonably. Because Greg is at AF1, its the only place Ill go for motorcycle service. He recently did a lot of work on my almost 20 year old cruiser and its running like a Swiss Watch now. AF1 is a beautiful shop that also now offers service on Japanese and other bikes. A friend and demoed a couple of all electric Zeros there recently. What a lot of fun that was. They also have a great parts department as well.

My first purchase in Austin was great thanks to Colin. I had gone three times within a month and they were not pushy just available to answer my questions. On my third visit they were about to close but Colin was patient and made the deal happen and not only that he went above and beyond for me. He even went as far as to deliver the key to me while I was at work. Oh yeah they also hooked me up with a deal on a new helmet. Thanks Colin and team!

Id rather have parts shipped from Austin to Dallas than fight my way through the Dallas metro to get to the local Aprilia dealer. Quick help on phone, their website looks a little dated, but it works really well, has all the features you need including combining orders received but not yet shipped. They have lots of stuff off hand for quick shipping.
