This is a very large, open and well designed mall in the heart of Arlington. There is a huge selection of stores here, and the landscaping and maintenance of this place is nice and well kept. There is a very diverse range of people here, so be prepared to see a wide mix of folks walking around. Teens, young professionals, families, couples, empty nesters, rural cowboys, blue collar workers and a lot of Spanish speakers spending their hard earned dollars on their kids. Its quite a site to see. Im not a fan of the kiosks and the hard sellers, but the small management here keeps them in line for the most part. Security and Arlington PD does it job well given the shady and less desirables that show up here more than you would like. There is never an unsafe feeling, and you can feel free to pretty much walk around and browse in peace. There is the typical food court and a restaurant or two, just as most malls of this range have. But it also has an ice skating rink which is very popular with families and kids. The surrounding area has every chain restaurant you could ask for as well as more stores and conveniences. It is a solidly blue collar, middle class income mall with the stores and features you would expect from household incomes in the $45k to $100k a year range, and has something for everyone to like and purchase here. Traffic is always bad getting in and out along I-20, and this place is always packed on weekends so plan ahead. In youre anywhere in the Mid-Cities and Arlington area, the Parks is literally the only game in town. There isnt another mall within 25 miles in any direction.

The Parks is an Okay mall. It doesnt compare to say, Mall of the Millennium or International Mall, but overall it has a good amount of shops. Way too many shoe shops though. The only drawback to this mall that makes it a 3 star is all the punk kids that hang out her causing trouble... for instance: my daughter was standing by the pillar outside of the restrooms and 3 punks came up to her and said "hey dork, nice hairdo... why dont you just kill yourself now and avoid the embarrassment of living!" These were 3, African American, 16-18 yo girls who have nothing better to do than run around the mall telling a 10 yo to go kill herself bc of her hair. What is the youth of America going to do when all these punks are out to do nothing more than to berate and bully small kids. I pity their generation... nothing but a bunch of pampered, no discipline punks, who wouldnt even try to work a day to better themselves. The bad part is the mall security wont do anything about these people, the are only concerned with looking good in their uniforms and if you tell them something, they just say okay well check it out. Police are around on busier days, but I dont even set foot in there if the parking lots look more than half full, bc its just a stupid mad house of people and stupid little punks. Also, stay away from any of the Food Court places that arent brand name, they are HORRIBLE and you WILL probably get sick from them.

This place has been the highest point of Arlington since I was a kid. Ive seen this place rise to where it is since it was born and I love it here. One this I miss is Halloween trick or treating in the mall. But Im 25, so its alright. I was here when they added the skating rink, additional shops and AMC theaters and it has only gotten better since. Some of my favorite places are Bath & Body Works, (They made it NICE in there, also my wife made me start to like it) Round 1, the theaters and the skating rink. They do a good job staying on theme in the mall, so its always lively and stays pretty active. Theres never really a stagnant time of year. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is a huge rise of drug use and trade here. Its ridiculous how many high schoolers hang out here and its even more ridiculous at how frequent these trades and use occurs! Id rather the whole place be smoke-free that way people can just get ticketed for having any type of awful smell in the air. Lets do something about THAT problem!

Racist! Racist! RACIST!!! It was almost closing time and me and my friend we still contempling on getting two things and this white worker just automatically thought we were stealing and threaten to call mall security. Not ONLY did she watch us the ENTIRE TIME but she also took my bag after my purchase (wasnt even allowed to carry it to the door) but she escorted me out and I was like "u realize we wasnt gon still or nothing we have money" and she was like " surrrree. Next time I wont be nice" all the workers was laughing at her cuz they knew the stupidity and the wrong she was doing. Guess she was thinking two black young girls cant afford to by name brand high end make up so all they can do is still smh. The Sophora at parks mall is trash and should be that employer/ beauty adviser should be fired. Bet she also didnt know we had jobs and went to private schools too huh. But thats sad. Go if u want dont if you dont want to just know beware of shopping while black.

It pains me to write this. This mall needs increased security. The clientele that frequent this mall have had gun shoot outs, fights, and more. Theft and vandalism of cars is common. Im not sure how to fix the problem, but I know there is a problem! Im not a fan of taking my kids there - the vast majority of the people who "hang out" there (THEY ARE NOT SHOPPING!) seem to chase off paying customers because of their antics. UNFAIR! Yes I said it, ITS UNFAIR TO THE REST OF US WHO WANT TO SHOP HERE, SPEND MONEY HERE, ENJOY THE RESTAURANT, THEATER, ETC... We dont want to get caught in the middle of someone else fight, or worse get SHOT!!? Yes this is TRUE! Google it! 2 teens were fighting in the parking garage and one shot the other (WITH A GUN) and had to CALL AN UBER TO GET PICKED UP AS A GET A WAY CAR! How am I supposed to subject my family to that kind of stuff? WOULD YOU?

This is pretty crowded, but the store section is great with a good selection, and its very clean despite the traffic of people. On busy days (like holidays and Saturdays) it can be insane getting in and out of the parking lot (parking is plentiful, but it gets really backed up)! And the theatre is great, except in the summer it never seems like the air conditioning can keep up. By the end of the movie, someone Im with or myself feels uncomfortable every time. But my main beef in an otherwise well-kept mall is that they allow the standing shop salesmen and the perfumeries get waaay aggressive to get you to hear their pitch. Its like going through a fleamarket; theyve even physically grabbed my hand while I was walking by a couple times to make a sale... so it sometimes puts me in a bad mood just going through there.

This is a very nice shopping mall located right off of I-20 and Cooper. I believe it has all the amenities of any other shopping mall but with the few extra perks as well. A very cool feature within the Parks Mall is there indoor ice skating rink. They also have a bowling alley and a movie theater. Within this mall you will find more stores than you will probably ever care to visit.... what I mean by that, is that your options are limitless. Their food court provides an array of different foods from various cultures. They also have constant security that patrols the parking lots and the inside promises for your safety. If you have yet to visit The Parks mall at Arlington I would definitely recommend it.
