I used to enjoy shopping at Grapevine Mills. However, NOT ANYMORE. I encountered RACIAL DISCRIMINATION by sales person at BENCHMARK JEWELERS. I am a South Korean. I had terrible experience Ive ever had. July 1st was my boyfriends birthday. So, we visited to Grapevine mills. My boyfriend entered to BENCHMARK JEWELERS. He has a watch in mind so that he showed a picture with his iPhone. He asked the price of the watch. A sales association called a guy. I am not sure but the new guy looks like his manager. It was a start of tragedy. The new asked my boyfriend whether he has enough money to buy the watch, and my boyfriend said "yes". The person said that he will show the watch if my boyfriend show money. Surprisingly, he tapped my boyfriends bag, and asked "do you have money in the bag?". His way of talking and attitude were extremely rude. My boyfriend was very upset but tried to keep his cool. Furthermore, he made fund of my boyfriend mentioning about sunglasses that my boyfriend was wearing. He said that it looks like unbranded one and looks like 3D glasses. We showed signs of uneasiness, but he never stopped. It made me feel disgusting and made my hands shake. I was very upset. I cant believe that kind of person exist and is selling product. When we left the horrible shop, he made sarcastic remarks saying "you must be North Korean". I really wanted to argue him and receive apology. However, it was my boyfriends b-day. We dont want to waste our time on arguing, decided to ignore and leave the store. He ruined our special day. I was so sad that this happened in our favorite mall. I sincerely hope this tragedy never happen again.

I am a frequent guest at the Grapevine mills mall. They have a great selection at amazing prices . However , yesterday , January 26th, 2017 at 5:30 P.M I was leaving Saks off 5th when a security guard was calling sir multiple times in the parking lot as I was halfway to my car walking amongst several other people. I turned around to address the gentleman to see what the matter was. He then initiated a search through my belongings and informed me that there was suspicious activity taking place within the store . At this moment I am outraged because I am a frequent guest at Saks let alone the Mills mall. So I follow the gentleman into the store to see who initiated that I was suspicious . Keep in mind that there were a group of asian- american women who walked out in front of me with no items from the store and they werent searched and there were other people who were in the same fitting room as myself and they were not searched either. I was simply searched because I am an African American male . They pointed me out despite anyone else in the store. So I write this complaint today to see what is the malls policy and saks policy regarding unreasonable searches, why wasnt anyone else searched and what is Simon Property Croup and Saks off 5th going to do to change my overall experience . I feel humiliated , objectified and that my privacy and my rights as a guest were invaded and Im going to do my best to file legal actions against both companies.

Grapevine Mills mall is built in a HUGE circle. This makes it great for indoor, climate controlled "mall walking" for workout, by making continuous laps around the mall. Its also impossible to get lost. Keep going in one direction, and eventually youll be back to where you started. Has the basic "mall" stores, but also see more duplicate or even triplicate of the same store then most other malls. 2 of the same perfume stores, 3 of the same pretzel places.. etc... The movie theater is ok. This particular AMC has a couple smaller theaters for reserved seating (18+ or accompanied by adult), and a couple 21+ (no exceptions). These reserved theatres have power reclined "leatherette" seats that are pretty comfortable, and both offer dinner and drink menus. The only silly thing is that you cant use your AMC Stubs card if you order from within your seat - you must take your happy butt down to concession stand like everyone else to get your rewards points... Lego land and Sea Life Park here - have been, so no opinion. Valet parking available on the north side of the AMC theater.

Grapevine Mills has seemed to steadily be declining at a rapid rate. I cant tell if theyve just gotten an unexpected surge traffic through their stores, but it seems like every store I walk into has been ripely pillaged by the masses. The worst offenders were definitely Pac-Sun and Adidas. Props to Journeys and the Levi Outlet for having a solid professional layout and staff. All that to say, given the big name shops are only outlets, the selection is not what I would step into a mall to see for the most part. Im starting to lose the point of going to a mall if all I can find is the lowest tier of products each brand carries. I think theyre making the right move with the direction theyre taking regarding entertainment establishments like the arcade, movie theatre, Lego Land, aquarium, etc., but most of their retail shops have missed the mark consistently for me. I only come here when I absolutely have to.

I am huge on aesthetic appeal and to be honest the appearance of Grapevine Mills Mall is a huge turn off for me, luckily their store selection makes up for the ugly. They also have great dining options, which is important when youre planning on doing a day of shopping. The theater is also very good. However, I will say this and it is the biggest determent of me shopping at this mall: THE TRAIN!! I get that it is nice for the kids but when youre shopping -- especially on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and you have a train trailing you does not make for a pleasant experience and given the fact that weekends are just naturally busy times to shop and the fact that the mall is not very large.... ugh. Plus the train takes the ramp which is intended for shoppers with wheelchairs or baby strollers. It is a very rude inconvenience and it needs to be done away with.

Absolutely amazing. Front desk and all the employees are super kind and willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are a little on the country side so not my particular taste but it was fine. I loved the skylight and the open hallways. There are four elevators so that is super convenient. They will hold your luggage, drive you around in a shuttle, and even have a little gift shop. Breakfast is delicious and from 6-9 a.m. Theres a Starbucks right in the middle of the hotel. Little waterfall running calming in the back while you eat. I definitely recommend the omelettes. Theres a happy hour with free drinks for around two hours so dont miss out. The indoor pool was lovely however it needed more chlorine. The water did not smell very good. Besides that everything was absolutely amazing and I would definitely stay here again.

A great shopping experience for both bargain hunters, fashionistas and average everyday people. Very diverse crowd, from blue collar workers, suburban families, housewives, couples, teens, empty nesters and young professionals. Always fairly clean, with a huge selection of stores and shops of mostly middle class price ranges, with great deals and exclusives you wont find anywhere else. Plenty of parking available, and the mall is maintained well and very safe and secure. Food court is typical fast food chains, but there are a lot of restaurants surrounding the mall as well as a Rainforest Café and Chilis inside. Its a bit of a drive to get here unless you live in Southern Denton County, but the experiences and deals make it worth it.
